This company installed a whole house fan, an attic fan, and created more venting from attic to outside. They did a great job! They did everything they said they would and were on time. They also did a super job of repairing the hole where the previous fan was so that it looks very professionally done. The team was professional and considerate of our property and preferences. Highly recommend! (BTW The attic fan has kept our upstairs very comfortable and the whole house fan even on low cools it off right away. Love the results!!)

We replaced our 20+ year old gable and whole house fans for more efficient models. Jacob and Tawney were great to work with. Victor and Andy removed and installed new units and replaced old, clogged eave vents. They were professional and respectful of our property. And, they were so quiet doing the work it was hard to believe construction was happening. So far the new fans are doing the job, and at decibles much lower than the old horizontal propeller! The real test will be in the heat of summer, but I'm optimistic that these fans will provide the cooling I need without the cost of A/C.

I had a really positive experience with Bay Area Whole House Fans and recommend them highly. First, Mike the estimator was very thorough, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions factually. He did a thorough assessment of my home and attic, including measuring its vent area and sizing the fan appropriately. He also determined and shared with me where to place the fan and how to wire it. The company quickly gave me a very reasonable quote and was able to schedule the installation only a couple weeks after the estimate. Brian and Andy did a very professional installation (see photo) and completed the work in only 2 hours including showing me how to use the fan and answering my questions. They left my house and driveway completely clean too. The don't have the fanciest vehicles but they have highly competent people who do great work at very reasonable cost.

I had another local "five star review" A/C company give me a quote but it was much more expensive and that other company's estimator did not properly measure my attic vents and suggested a fan that would have been too small. I'm very happy I went with Bay Area WHole house Fans instead!

Had a great experience from start to finish. Jake was reasonable and provided a very competitive bid. The guys came in and made it look easy. As far as WHF, this is the best investment in my home this year. 100% recommend the team and project.

The whole process was easy and informative. Bay Area WHF came out for an estimate to look around our attic space and ensure our house was a good candidate for a fan, and recommend any additional work like insulation and venting. A few days later we received a quote and were scheduled for an installation. The installation team of two guys came at 7am and were finished installing the fan around 11am. They gave a quick intro on how to use the fan, cleaned up very well after themselves, and went on their way. 10/10 would recommend this company if you’re looking to add a whole house fan. The fan itself works very well. Once the temp outside hits 70° in the evening we run it for a few hours and it cools our house several degrees while using 1/10 the electricity you would use running AC.

This company came few times to service/fix furnace but weren’t able to figure out. The tech didn't have good attitude. Another company just changed the thermostat & the furnace is working without any problem.

Fast response time, great family business. Fixed my AC/ Heat under the estimates time. Not the cheapest but who wants to go cheap when you want reliability?

Eduardo from Norcal was very helpful,courteous and professional. He helped me with a A/C condenser and was able to fix the problem. He took his time explaining everything to me step by step and even showed me something new.I highly recommend him and the company.

Norcal arrived 1 hour after I called them. They had my A/C fixed within 90 minutes and for a fraction of the cost I had paid to another company a few years ago. They suggested ways to reduce my monthly energy costs.

My wife and I own Rocks Blow Dry Bar in Los Gatos. Yesterday it was 95 degrees and the AC at Rocks decided to go out. You can imagine what the shop was like with all the blow dryers going and no AC! I called around and contacted Norcal. They came out today which was way sooner than any of the other companies I called. Omar showed up at the tail end of the time window. But, that was OK. He was very nice, respectful and professional. He fixed the problem and everything has cooled off. I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

I was routed to them through Fidelity Home Insurance. I put in the service request with Insurance yesterday evening. Today morning I got a call that technician can come between 11am-3pm. And Jim was at my door at 11. He came and fixed the electric issue, got the AC working and gave useful advice on maintenance. He was masked on and very courteous as well. A great experience overall, and our home is now cool.

What started out as a rocky service call ended in a good outcome. Norcal came out to assess an old furnace that had apparently gone out and some mistakes were initially made. That said, they were able to turn the train around and they ate whatever costs were incurred in misdiagnosing the issue the first time around and were able to quickly install a new unit at a reasonable price.

Despite the initial frustrations, the crew and main office were reasonable and respectful and again, they worked hard to resolve the initial issues.

Fair and honest advice

Horrible customer service, just out to make a buck without helping the customer. Would not rely on technicians to give a straight answer. Susan the owner is very brash and rude.

Staci was extremely professional and helpful. She explained each step of the way and patiently ensured that our furnace was back in order after she fixed the connections.

I am very thankful to Cold Craft for fixing the heating problem! I have a less common heating system and had several companies come in and charge me for "diagnostics" without knowing how to fix the problem.

A lady from Cold Craft came in and new exactly what the problem was and fixed it quickly with a smile. Thank you very very much!

Just had a part on my ac replaced. Eli was phenomenal and after inspecting the ac knew exactly what was wrong with it. He fixed it perfectly and in little time. He was very knowledgeable and was even teaching me things along the way. Great service start to finish

Kent and his team are amazing! Everyone on staff is super knowledgeable and responsive to customer needs. They take time to go over the details and explain pros and cons of the various installation options. As a general contractor, what's most important to me is to have a great sub is who shows up when promised and does excellent quality work. I highly recommend ColdCraft for all HVAC work.
