Called on Sunday because our septic tank had filled and our toilet wasn't flushing and our shower wouldn't drain. Spoke to Beau on Sunday and he came out the next day, professional and helpful in answering any questions. He just left we can now flush out toilet. Thank you so much! Will definitely reccommend.

Scott came out this afternoon and fixed my toilet. He was very honest, efficient, and focused. He rebuilt the toilet for me and replaced the handle. Now it has far better suction, and is flushing properly. The man who answered the phone was also excellent and helpful. Kurt's plumbers have always been excellent whenever they have worked here. As a single woman who owns a 1940's cottage, I trust them and recommend them highly. I had my house repiped by Tim and Gregg, and have been thrilled with the results.

This place was able to fix our issue in 2 hours. Chevo was the greatest person I've hired to fix something in my home. Professional and knowledgeable. If you have a problem that needs fixing while other companies are too afraid to touch it, call them.

Bret was amazing took care of my bathroom that was clogge d and even cleaned up. His work speaks for itself. He was polite and worked fast. I'd give him a 10/10 rating. If I ever need anything done again I will definitely be calling him

Kurt Bohmer Plumbing is the absolute best plumbing company we have ever worked with. This year we needed our septic tank pumped, and although their schedule was already filled for the day, they managed to send George out to take care of us. We are extremely happy with the front office friendliness and professionalism and George did a perfect job and was very knowledgeable as well. Their prices are quite reasonable and fair, and on top of it all, they are very honest. Just a pleasure doing business with them overall. We highly recommend Bohmer Plumbing.

Most employees seem fine, but a man with a mustache (never got his name) working for this company wouldn’t return his cart to the trolley rack! And therefore, is a lazybones. Two stars.

Do not work with this company. We initially called them out to our home to check our septic tank and leach lines, due to the presence of a smell in the leach field. The tech told me it was due to rain. He instructed us to dig down to the first clean-out for our tank so we could have it pumped, which we did. During that visit, he decided to tell me there are two clean-outs and suggested we dig a second hole to access the other one. When we did this (no small feat since it's 5 feet below ground), he opened the cover to our tank and quickly determined we needed a new tank due to deterioration. He quoted me $5k above several other companies. In the end, we had Shellback Plumbing come out to assist and they are phenomenal on all fronts. I have been asking the office manager at Kurt Bohmer to refund a portion of our fees, since we later had a new tank installed and the work they did was worthless and misguided. The young man who answers the phone has attitude and is not helpful in the least. Kurt Bohmer and his crew are scammers who overcharge their customers and do not give them the truth. I have learned from this experience and it truly comes down to trust and expertise when hiring contractors. If I was the owner of this business, I would take this insight into business seriously because this is how you destroy your client base and the community loses faith in you overall.

We needed a routine septic tank pumping after 2 years. (New system install in June of 2019) Called and got an appointment just when it worked for us. Beau called the morning of the service to keep me up to date on his travel time. He was friendly and professional and got right to work. Gave me some tips on septic maintenance and was done in less than 45 minutes. Will definitely use Kurt Bohmer again and will ask for Beau by name!

We had an emergency situation with our water heater, and Cole had it replaced quickly and efficiently. Excellent service.

I've used their service twice so far. The first time was an emergency on new years eve when I had guests over to my house and my septic tank was full. Beau was awesome and came to the rescue. Definitely cost us a lot of money due to bad timing on our part but it was needed. Beau was very knowledgeable about septic systems and explained everything to us. He's the reason we went back to Kurt Bohmer Plumbing. Thank you Beau!

Absolute worst experience I've ever had with any type of contractor. I'm a Realtor and hired Kurt Bohmer's Plumbing to conduct a septic inspection and certification. They showed up late and two weeks later I still have no idea if they did anything. After inspecting, I called every day, sometimes twice, asking for a report. I also emailed them and never received a response to either. It's been over 2 weeks now since they inspected the septic and I've still not heard anything back and haven't received a report or an estimate. The agent representing the buyer was able to reach Kurt and he told her that the entire system needed replaced and would cost over $31k. This isn't legal since I was the one who ordered the inspection, not the other agent. He required a credit card number prior to the visit and charged me $875 without my permission. Since I was never able to reach Kurt, I ordered inspections from two other companies to satisfy the buyer. Both companies said the system was in good condition and certified it on the spot. I asked if they had any idea why it would Kurt would want to replace he entire system and all they said was that he "has a reputation". Kurt never gave a reason why he wouldn't certify the septic or why he recommended a full replacement. My best assumption is that the seller is in her late 70's and the property was in escrow for $1.8M so he figured he could take advantage and make some money. I'm glad he never responded to me because we were ready to pay him $31k for a new system. I've since stopped payment and will be reporting him to the CSLB. Kurt's reviews were great until the past couple of years so make sure to read the recent ones. I believe that he is a crook and deserves to lose his license for trying to take advantage of an elderly person. Shame on you Kurt!

Carlos is very knowledgeable, thorough and explains everything clearly and precisely. He’s very good at what he does and always goes the extra mile!
He’s friendly and professional. Connor is also very good at what he does as far as the hydro jetting. I appreciate their honesty and work ethic.

There simply aren’t enough words to accurately describe how pleased I was with my service today. My technicians, Carlos and Conner really went the extra mile. I’ve only been in this house for 2 months and it’s my first time on a septic tank & they took the time to explain exactly how my system works, what I can expect & what I can do to help keep everything running smoothly. But it’s not only my technicians that were fantastic, I’m really impressed with the company as a whole. There was virtually no wait time for an appointment. I called on Saturday and was the first appointment Monday morning! And to top it all off, they’re very reasonably priced! Kinda makes me wish I needed septic services more often!

About a year ago, I called Kurt Bohmer plumbing to come and find the leak and my plumbing needless to say he was not pleased with what his plumber that for me and all the time he wasted and charge me a lot of money or a very unprofessional service. I did add review very bad one so here comes my neighbor Mr. Kurt Bohmer offering me $200 to practically take my review off. I did not take the 200 that he was offering me, which was very unprofessional to appoint, but I took my review off to be a nice neighbor. And he told me that he would give me a good deal on re-piping my house. When the time came, I called him to get an estimate and he turned around and told me he has no time for me for such a big job. I did find a much better plumbing company and they got the job done in one day. I know I leave it up to you if you like to use this plumbing services.

Kurt Bohmer plumbing is a really professional company. I had no issues. Customer service was amazing and they came out the same day I called. Carlos was very knowledgeable in his work. I asked him about possibly adding an RV dump station to my septic system.. he explained the process.. he called me back later on the same day and gave me a reasonable quote. He also recommended that I get a new lid for the top of the tank (which the handle is coming off from the lid) before the handle breaks off and becomes difficult to remove. Also received a quote for the lid. Enrique back at the office had to contact me back regarding payment. I had an issue with my bank account.. which I resolved within minutes. Called him back to rerun the card. He was understanding and handled the situation very professionally. I don’t understand the reason for all the negative reviews on google. I’m very happy with my judgement.. I bypassed all those awful reviews and called Kurt Bohmer Plumbing for service and will be calling again for future needs!

I had my entire septic system replaced by Kurt Bohmer Plumbing. They were professionals, polite, and completed the work on time, and on budget. I will use them again for my next plumbing job, and will continue to recommend them to family and friends.

Kurt and the folks at Kurt Bohmers Plumbing are good people and good at their job. Plumbing issues are not pleasant, especially emergency plumbing issues. Don't get caught up in reviews and completely rely on them alone. Kurt came through for me in a true emergency plumbing situation, when other plumbing companies left me stranded.

I hired a competing plumbing company to do some repairs. During the work they broke my underground main water line. The company said the repair job was too big for them and they didn't have the means to do it, so they left and never came back. I had no water to my house and the day was already half over.

I called Kurt Bohmers Plumbing and Kurt himself was at my house within hours. He examined the situation and told me it would be a big job that would take until the next day to finish. It required breaking concrete, digging up earth and replacing major Plumbing components. He told me not to worry and he would take care of the situation.

He had one of his workers come to my house before the day ended to give me temporary water from my neighbor's house. Wow, I didn't even know that was possible.

The next morning his guys were at my house breaking concrete and doing repairs. By the end of the day he had the water to my house turned on. He had my concrete patched up and job finished by the next morning. Best part is, he didn't gouge me with the price. I was surprised how reasonable the price was for true emergency plumbing work.

I found my plumber! I also ended up using him on some substantial plumbing maintenance/repairs that have been nagging me over the years. His guys are super courteous and good at what they do.

I needed my septic tank pumped. I gave them my address, the tank size and let them know I already dug it out. They were able to give me a price over the phone and they came out the next day. Very Professional and did a great job.

Terrible Experience – Unprofessional and Overpriced

I had a very disappointing experience with Kurt Bohmer Plumbing Inc. Our appointment was scheduled for 10:00 AM, but they didn’t show up until 1:20 PM. The technician who was supposed to be familiar with septic systems was stuck on another job, so they sent someone else who clearly had no knowledge of septic tanks. I only found this out when I called to complain—and the employee admitted it.

We called them because we had a clog, but no one told us the septic tank might be full until they ran a jetter into the line leading directly into our house. The only explanation given to my husband was, “We couldn’t get the clog and we have to go.” That’s it. No resolution, and we were still charged $450.

After they left, we ended up with sewage water coming up through our tubs—something that wasn’t happening before. Not only did they not fix the issue, they made it worse.

We later called Elite Septic, and the difference was night and day. They properly diagnosed the problem, pumped the septic tank, cleared the clog, and only charged us for the pumping. They actually cared about doing the job right—not just collecting a fee and walking away.

Kurt Bohmer Plumbing refused to refund even 10% of the charge, which would’ve gone a long way in showing they care about customer satisfaction. Instead, they blamed our leach line, which turned out to be perfectly fine.
