Don't get Encinitas Plumbing confused with Encinitas Plumbing and Drain. Encinitas Plumbing now what they're doing...on time, clean, quick and professional. I used to hire plumbers based on how cheap the price...big mistake. You pay for what you get.

Excellent service. Arrived as scheduled and ready to start work. Pleasant to deal with as Tim converted a regular wood burning fireplace to a gas log insert setup. Would highly recommend this company.

The pilot light on our water heater went out so we called these guys. We called a few places but they were not available until future dates. We decided to try contacting these guys and they were able to get someone over the same day. The gentleman showed up on time and got straight to work on diagnosing our problem. He was able to figure out the problem and attempted to locate the needed part for us so he could repair our water heater. Unfortunately the next day he informed us the part was out of stock everywhere, including the manufacturer. He offered to order us a new water heater and install it but my brother came up with an alternate solution to our problem so we went with that instead. We were not charged for the visit and I was very pleased with their punctuality, honesty, and the effort that was put in even though we didn't end up hiring them for their services. I wish I knew the name of the gentleman who came to our place. Thank you for your time and effort!

Had a second slab leak in 2 months. Not satisfied w the previous plumbing company I reached out to Encinitas Plumbing and the service was night day. Tim went well beyond the previous company I used and actually found out why we were having the problems instead of just fixing them as the came up. Haven’t had an issue since. Would HIGHLY recommend Encinitas Plumbing

Horrible Communication. Called twice after my scheduled appointment. No show. Finally got a call back. The owner shouted and cursed at me. Said he was a "Christian Man". Why even bring that up? I am a believer but, that has nothing to do with a leaking toilet seat. I went somewhere else obviously, and with a more affordable company. His rational to fix for cheap was the same cost to replace with new. Peace of mind goes a long way. Thanks anyways Tim, have a good day.

Robert has performed several jobs for our household. I find him to be highly competent and reliable. The most recent visit was within an hour of my call on a Saturday. His knowledge is up to date and he's more than happy to share that knowledge. He provides useful detail regarding the operation of the systems he's repairing or replacing. Reasonable prices too. All from a price book - no haggling required.
Update: Vanguard disassembled a kitchen sink for us. It sounds simple but tgere were complications. The tech was diligent and got the job done! Great work as always.

I've had to use the services of Vanguard Plumbing & Drains several times (i.e. old home!). Each time I've needed them, Robert has responded promptly to my calls and has scheduled Dave to come out right away to assess the issues. Dave is punctual, respectful, honest and highly skilled in what he does. I highly recommend them and refer them often to others who need plumbing services. 100% satisfaction.

Vanguard did a great job in fixing my toilets and shower pipe. It was easy to book an appointment online (they came next day) and Robert the plumber was very informative and kind. Great job from this team.

Quick response to an inquiry on Yelp. Was available when needed. Very professional and courteous. Our water heater did not last as long as expected. When replaced, we got helpful reminders for the long-term care of the new heater. Really good service. Will definitely use again if needed.

Great service! Robert stopped by as Vanguard was used as the installation service for our Flo by Moen water valve. We are recent now home owners at this location and not only did Robert provide a professional, speedy service, but he also took extra time to show us some things around our water systems that we didn't even know. Super helpful and seems extremely trustworthy. We will definitely call them in the future for any plumbing services needed.

Fantastic service! Calling for an appointment and price estimate to fix a pinhole leak in my copper pipe was pleasant and efficient. Very reasonable price. Dave F., the plumber, was pleasant, knowledgeable, and well prepared. A true pro! He explained everything to me and answered all my questions — I learned a lot!
