Radi is very professional and knowledgeable. He did a fantastic job re-placing main kitchen faucet that had frozen parts ( stop valves). He worked efficiently. As he was leaving, I remembered I had a powder room faucet handle that was malfunctioning. He quickly diagnosed and fixed it without additional charges.

I had a great expereince with Dr. Piper. I needed to repipe my mid-century home and install a tankless water heater. They explained their expertise and several options to me. Once we chose a path forward, we set a date, and they were ontime to start the job. Dr. Piper tried to finish the job as soon as possible and they passed inspection on the first try!!! It all went smoothly. I definitely suggest Dr. Piper. It was great working with Radi and Peter.

After having four leaks within 12 months we knew it was time to re-pipe. The thought of replacing all of our copper plumbing made me extremely nervous about finding the right company to do the job, especially since I had some rather frustrating contractor experiences in the past. During the selection process we spoke at length with several local companies, and finally chose Dr. Piper based upon the knowledge and experience Radi (the owner) demonstrated, and all of the great reviews we had read about them. Radi could tell we were nervous about the job, but he was so patient with us, and took the time to thoroughly explain the process to ensure we would know what to expect. It was obvious he took great pride in his company's workmanship, as he even invited us to visit him at one of their job sites to view the quality of their work firsthand before making any commitments. As this is my home, I am a somewhat picky person, but let me tell you, I could not have been happier with our decision, THESE GUYS ARE GREAT!! We had a terrific experience with this company, and I was so relieved to see that everything we had read about Dr. Piper was true. Here are a few things that stood out to us:

Scheduling: Once we agreed upon a start date, we became their full-time commitment. The workers showed up on time every day, and went right to work. They were obviously experienced, as there was no doubt they knew what they were doing, as they were very good at minimizing the time we would be without water, which was usually for just a few short durations. The job progressed quickly without delays, and they even offered to work over the weekend so they could finish sooner if that was okay with us.

Cost: We received bids from a few different companies. Dr. Piper wasn't the cheapest, but they quoted a fair and reasonable price, and were definitely in the range we were expecting. On top of that, we just had a very good feeling about Radi. The job was completed within budget, and there were no surprises at the end. The price quoted was the exact price we paid.

Quality: I have high standards, but am happy to report the finished work exceeded our expectations and was in all respects better than we envisioned. The workers were pleasant, cheerful and committed to doing the job right. They clearly gave their best efforts, and their attention to detail was exceptional. All the materials were brand new and of good quality, their solder joints were very clean and professional looking, and when it came time to put everything back together their drywall and texturing looked fantastic!! The best part is these were all long term workers, so Radi knew exactly the type of work quality they would produce, and of course he was right there on the job with them. It was a trustworthy, professional and smooth running operation.

All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Radi is a very likable person, with a great team. Don't hesitate to give him a call, and you can even tell him that "Dean referred me", as I'm sure he'll remember me as that nervous (but satisfied) customer who asked all those questions. We are very pleased with the work Dr. Piper (Radi) did, and without reservation would choose them again for any future projects on our home.

Late last year, I was told by my insurance company that they wouldn't renew my homeowners policy if I didn't repipe my house to bypass the pipes in the concrete foundation that had sprung two leaks in the past three years — a very scary and expensive proposition. One contractor shook his head as he toured my 3200 sq. ft. place, noting that its size and complex layout would make a repipe very expensive. He didn't even want to quote the job. But he did me a solid and recommended Radi Mintchev's Doctor Piper service.

Cool Thing #1: Radi showed up, was personable and knowledgeable, and promptly sent me a very reasonable quote. I gave him the job the next day. Unfortunately, just over a week before he was to begin, we had an illness in the family and I had to call and ask him to postpone the estimated 10-day project. He was extremely cool and flexible about it, and seemed more concerned about my sick family member than the colossal inconvenience to him.

Cool Thing #2: We rescheduled for June. He and his crew showed up on time and spent the first day systematically covering the floors and walls with protective plastic sheeting. The next day they got down to business, moving furniture, opening up walls and ceilings, and installing new high-grade copper pipes. They worked long and hard for several days, each day making sure I was updated on the job’s progress. Several times, I was impressed at Radi and his crew’s innovative solutions for some of the thorny plumbing obstacles my house presented. And Radi doesn’t just supervise — he gets as dirty as the rest of the crew. These guys work together like a good-humored, well-oiled machine, and they finished a few days ahead of schedule.

Cool Thing #3: As a layperson, I know next-to-zip about plumbing, but I had a very good feeling about the work they were doing. For instance, they cut the drywall out in tight, numbered rectangles that allowed them to repair the holes perfectly and efficiently. But the good vibes were clinched near the end of the project when the building inspector arrived to approve their work before they closed up the walls. He made a point to tell me that Doctor Piper is the only company he carries business cards for, in case he’s asked for a recommendation. Then he showed me two examples of the extra care they take. Plastic insulators were installed on both sides of each 16-inch separated wall stud where pipes went through them, and he said they’re only required to install them every four feet. And he pointed out that the pipes had been polished to minimize water noise. His enthusiasm about Doctor Piper was striking and reaffirming.

Bottom line: A very grateful and happy customer!

We needed to remodel our bathroom and we got lucky to find Radi Mintchev from Dr. Piper
Radi did excellent work installing the bathtub, wall tiles, all plumbing and just for few days he completed the work. Radi had very good attention to the details of the work and that brings the quality of the job to higher level. We are very happy with our new bathroom, I would recommend Radi to anyone who need such job done in his house.

Excellent work from the time they did the estimate all the way to the final inspection. Radi and Peter were very responsive and provided great info about different types of pipe and my options. They moved up the scheduled repiping job a week ahead of time so I was able to get the work done sooner than expected.

They repiped my whole house and all the work was completed on time. The team (Rudy and Alex?) covered the floors, walls and furniture for protection, in addition to moving appliances. My family and I were able to stay in the house while the work was being done, as they made sure to keep at least one bathroom available for use (toilet and shower). They were professional, friendly, considerate and respectful, constantly giving us updates. I was very pleased with the overall work.

Before hiring Dr. Piper I went online and read the reviews and wondered if it was possible to have SO many real amazing reviews. After Dr. Piper repiped my home I can attest that they are the real deal. I never write reviews, (good or bad) but I felt compelled to write one today.
Stefan and his crew worked hard, stayed late and were always respectful. They got the job done on time and were priced fairly. I would absolutely recommend this company to everyone!!

I've used Dr. Piper several times over the years. I had a pipe blow in my hallway on a Sunday and Radi was there for us and super helpful. Peter showed up in no time and had us back up and running with water. Amazing responsiveness. Peter warned me about the condition of my pipes but I rolled the dice. Fast forward less than a year and I had a pipe elbow blow in my kitchen ceiling again on a Sunday. Radi again managed to find someone to come out and get us back up with water. I learned my lesson and scheduled to have my whole house repiped with Dr. Piper. Peter made it happen for us so our home could be done in time for Christmas. Rudy and the other Peter were worked super hard and were simply fantastic plumbers. Dr. Peter has been there for me every time, and I give them my highest recommendation. I'm still considering a whole house filter to protect my new pipes and will surely work with them in case we do. My only regret is not getting repiped sooner so as to avoid damaged kitchen cabinets and flooring. Finally I'll mention that everyone was honest and transparent about the entire process and any issue that arose. I really value that and appreciate it. Thanks for all of your help!

We had a plumbing emergency and needed our house re-piped. We called a couple of companies to come out to give us a quote. Dr. Piper gave us a fair quote so we decided to go with them. They fit us in their schedule and went to work. They worked hard from beginning to end. They did an excellent job with the re-pipe. I would definitely call them again.

Look no further - Radi and Dr. Piper is the only company for a house repipe. I had a slab leak, and had received crazy quotes from others. Luckily, I can across Dr. Piper through a google/yelp search. Radi reached out to me within 30 minutes, and was in constant communication throughout the process. He was able to start the job within a few days, and completed an entire house repipe in a few days as well. His quality was second to none, and his prices were much more reasonable than the larger plumbing companies.

Radi and his team are incredibly hard workers, and very thorough. I'm extremely happy with the work they did, and am fortunate to have stumbled across them. The guys were great to work with, very kind to my family, and treated our house as if it was their own.

Dr Piper is the real deal. I recently did a major remodel and own three rental properties. Hence, I have engaged A LOT of contractors and Dr. Piper is among the best. Dr. Piper just finished re-piping one of my rental condos. Below is where they stood out among the pack:

There is a separate person, Peter, who does the quotes versus the person who does the work, Radi. I was able to schedule a specific time to have Peter come look at the place and provide a quote. Everyone else scheduled a four-hour window to do this which held a good chunk of my day hostage which limited other business I could conduct.

They do the piping and the drywall and they have a tight relationship with a painter. The whole project was coordinated through a single channel and completed in one chunk. Otherwise, I would have had to work with three different contractors, coordinate their schedules which most likely would have had gaps prolonging how long the condo would be in disarray, and deal with the gaps and finger pointing that quite often happens when dealing with multiple separate contractors.

They pull permits and schedule the inspections which gives me peace of mind that everything was done properly behind the woodwork as well as adds value to the property should I ever sell.

Radi is a dream to work with. He is extremely responsive, communicative, stayed on schedule, and when it was time for the final walk through EVERYTHING was completed and EVERYTHING was cleaned up. There were no loose ends.

Their prices are excellent. Even with the extra items mentioned above, their quote was on par with my three other quotes. Also, during the job, we uncovered some additional issues with the plumbing that needed to be addressed. The prices for the change orders were extremely fair. I’ve had other contractors gouge me in this situation knowing they had me over a barrel.

Bottom Line: This outfit was a pleasure to work with, their work is excellent, I would engage them again in a hearbeat.

Update 3/15/24 - repiping
We ended up liking Peter and his team so much from the previous project, we decided to use them for repiping. I got one other bid, and let just say .. for the service, quality, and price, doctor piper definitely gave all the best! Peter and his team took 5 days to complete the project. Im out of town, but he still communicated with me every step of the way. The best part is that they took care of everything… that even includes inspections from the city and even patching of the drywall…literally a one stop shop with the best workmanship and pricing! You can tell that peter has done many repiping projects. Trust me, you want to go with these guys…Before doing any repiping, check your bid from the other vendors. It most likely doesn't include repatching of drywall or repairs. Thank you peter and team!!!

HIGHLY recommend this company . We used them because we had a copper pipe bust on the holiday weekend. They did not charge us any crazy ‘emergency’ fees and were very transparent with their pricing. We called them, and they sent someone out on that Sunday. Huge shout out to Peter who did an amazing job. He came out, was super professional, and kept me updated on the job to be done. I’m not in town, so Peter called me every step of the way to make sure I was kept in the loop. If you need a quality and honest priced job done, I’d recommend using these guys. We will be using them to repipe our whole house as well. 10/10 experience.

We are so happy that we found Doctor Piper! They repiped our entire 2-story house in less than 5 days and did the drywall and texture on day 6. They worked hard and were easy to work with - very friendly. Gave some extra options (new valve on shower, water to garage fridge, etc.) but no pressure to do those. Their price included the drywall and inspection. They cleaned up when they were done.
We had a slab leak and had several estimates from several plumbers for everything to repairing the one pipe to repiping the whole house. We had decided to repipe just the slab pipes and then heard about Doctor Piper from our friends. They did a full repipe from not much more than we were going to pay for just the slab pipes and now we can get a discount on our insurance for doing the whole house.

Most hardworking crew I ever met. They did high quality job for the whole house repipe with copper, and cleaned up the work area so nicely that I don’t need to do any cleaning myself. And they did very good job patching and texture-matching the drywall afterwards. I also use the opportunity of repipe to change all the shower valves as well, and they did a nice job as well. The communication has been good throughout the project. I would definitely recommend Dr Piper to anyone looking for repiping.

Doctor Piper Inc. is fabulous. I was in need of re-piping all my 50 year old water lines that ran through the slab to run from the attic down due to some nasty slab leaks. I searched google and Yelp and saw several plumbers pop-up that do re-piping. Dr. Piper Inc. had the best reviews and their main focus is on re-piping instead. I called had Dr. Piper come out to give me a quote for a complete re-pipe along with a couple other quotes I decided to go with Dr. Piper mostly because of all the great reviews they had. I felt the quote was fare for the amount of work involved. I scheduled the job for about a week after a signed the contract. They showed up on-time, very courteous and knowledgeable crew. The job was estimated to take two days but they finished in one day working until 9pm to get it done and my water back on. They changed every water line, angle stops, hose bibs, main shutoff valve, shower valves, added a line for the ice maker, pressure regulator, expansion tank for hot water heater. I couldn’t be happier with the job they did on all levels. I highly recommend Dr. Piper Inc. for any re-piping needs you need. They also do drywall and tile work.

Nobody on the planet wants to face a total re-pipe of their home—especially while staying in the house during the process. We feel so grateful that we found Dr. Piper on-line. On-line reviews were good and we were able to speak with three customers who were very happy with Dr. Piper. Two knew several friends who used their services and were happy as well. Their pricing was extremely competitive and fair! Radi was our plumber and he is the hardest working person we have ever met. He is highly skilled and was able to thread a copper pipe under an existing concrete slab without destroying flooring, concrete, and cabinets. We were shocked. He also faced several challenging areas that he successfully addressed without having to destroy stucco, tile, etc. to get to bathroom pipes. Radi quickly became a trusted friend and we knew he had our best interests at heart. It wasn’t just a job—he had our family’s back. He made sure we had a working bathroom every day. Dr. Piper did a whole house repipe for us and it was a good experience from start to finish. Peter is very responsive and was able to answer all of our questions. Rudy & Alex showed up each day on time and ready to work! They worked really hard the entire time they were here, left the area as clean as possible each evening and were very polite. It is truly important to work with a company that does not use outside contractors and offers the inspection (which did not set us back at all in time). They were highly recommended to us and I would do the same!

Dr. Piper performed a repipe of my home. They had the most reasonable estimate for copper piping. Everyone I dealt with was professional and personable. Peter was great. He was very knowledgeable about the process and gave good advice. The workers arrived on time daily and worked hard all day and cleaned up each afternoon before leaving. My house had 35years old copper pipes that had leaked multiple times in last 3years. So I was kicked out from home insurance. Then I decided to repipe entire house to protect from further damage caused by possible pipe leaks. I googled 3 company for invoices and 2 of them responded. One of them was Dr piper. Invoice from 2 companies were similar but I chose Dr Piper because they have multiple experience in my community. They set the schedule according to me, which was so thankful and great because I don’t need to mess up my year end schedule with my family and friends. It exactly 5 days including dry wall repair and county inspection. It was such a good experience with Dr Piper. I would recommend Dr. Piper to any one who considers whole house repiping.
