Constraction reviews in Carmichael, California

Built my shower with tile. Super happy with how great it looks. Highly recommend Robert for your kitchen and bathroom remodel.

Good contractor, good communication. Showed up and got the job done quick and for a fair price. Was amenable to listening to our feedback throughout the process.

Have used Robert for many years and he is one of the best when it comes to contracting drywall repair, electrical, home remodeling anything you need done around the home. Highly recommend

I sent a message informing him with what I needed (cinder block wall and repairs from car vs structure). He asked for pictures; in which I sent him. After not hearing from him for several days I reached out to him. He replied I thought i had told you already. He doesnt do cinder block walls so I should look for a all in one contractor. So disappointed

Robert is a professional that knows what he is doing! My kitchen appliances kept overloading the breaker and shutting off. Robert came over, took a look at it, and went out of his way to get a new part and fix my problem!

Mr. Calvo is highly-qualified and skilled. I would not use another contractor except for him. He has completed multiple jobs for me, and the work is solid and better than expected. I hardly ever write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so here to praise his work.

Robert remodeled my kitchen. He handled everything including, cabinet's, countertops, appliances and flooring. I feel he did a beautiful job. I'm very pleased.

Excellent experience! Reno on master bathroom. On time every day. Communicated well. Great work all around. Will most certainly use again. Best contractor experience I have had ...

If five-stars is Outstanding, Robert Calvo would receive Six (Well-above Outstanding). It is with the greatest pleasure and enthusiasm that I highly recommend Robert Calvo for any contractor work in any home or commercial business. Three things stood out clearly: 1. Calvo is dependable, as he was completely reliable and met all the obligations of all the projects he has worked on at my home; 2. Attitude toward work, he is very enthusiastic, positive and willing to work hard to complete each project as prescribed; and 3. Quality of work, Calvo was always on time or early and the four projects(Surround Sound installation, Flat-Screen Mounting, entire house flooring installation, and cabinet fixings), were completed in a neatly manner, were accurately done, and of the highest quality, Stellar-STARlike. Mr. Calvo will quickly be found to be a gem and will most certainly add deep value to your home or business project. Carlos Casillas, Davis, California

One of the most thorough contractors that I've ever dealt with. Robert's attention to detail is borderline OCD. He is very organized and get things done with precision. He's dealt with electrical, plumbing, tile, flooring and drywall on projects and produces top knotch results. Once he's on your job, it becomes his priority. I asked him why he doesn't answer all his phone calls while he was working and he told me that while he is actively working on a project, that he doesn't like to take his focus away from my job everytime his phone rang. I guess that's why it took a bit to get him out to look at my stuff. But when he was here, he definately was on the job. Can't recommend him enough. Thanks Roberto!

I loved working with Robert and Michael. They were very professional and personable. They remodeled my bathroon. They were timely and communicated what was going on daily. They cleaned up everyday. I am very happy with my new shower.

I have had the pleasure of working with Robert Calvo for 8 years.
Robert has done all remodeling of 3 retail stores, remodel 6 custom homes. One of the homes is a 4 story mansion on the corner 17th and N St this home has been featured in multiple magazines. My personal home has been featured twice on the cover of Home and Garden for the Sacbee.
Robert is a very special person and contractor. He is a man of huge integrity, honesty, loyalty, trustworthy and a perfectionist his work is amazing.
When I describe Roberts work ethics to my peers that are looking for a contractor, I tell them when Robert is cutting a hole in your ceiling for lighting he holds a dustpan under the hole he is cutting.
Need I say he is meticulous!
You won't be disappointed working with Mr Calvo

Robert has come through for me in an urgency when I had an unknown leak in my AC unit in the attic. I called upon him again to do some repairs in my rental and my personal home over a span of 4 or more years. His work is impeccable. Robert’s reliability and trustworthiness leave me feeling confident that I can assign him his own speed dial number. LOL. Robert is a gem. Thank you.

I highly recommend Robert. He is professional and trustworthy. He helped me remodel my home by taking down a wall, painting, installing baseboards, tile, ceiling fixtures, texture, taping and painting interior and exterior of home.

He was prompt, neat and did an incredible job. His texture and taping work is exceptional.

We are a family that has high standards for work completed on our home. We have used Robert for the last 10 years for various projects from putting a wall up in our house, electrical work, and completing a range of projects designed to fit unique needs of our son. Robert is always professional, timely and we have never had any complaints about his work, only praises for his thorough and quality work. He is always our 'go to' person for us when we have a project.

Robert is the man, he has helped me with numerous real estate listing taking care of pest report items and also assists my clients with other items when they put their homes on the market. I trust him to the point that he does all the work on my mother's home. Highly recommended, trustworthy, transparent and easy to work with. A big "Thank You Roberto!"

This is the second project we have worked with Robert and the attention to detail and organization is what we have come to expect. He and his assistant Josh, updated our main bath and replaced our laundry room floor. They removed all the old fixtures and replaced with new, laid new flooring( vinyl plank, which turned out perfect) and painted. Josh did the painting and was meticulous about protecting any surface not removed, he even re-painted the laundry room, even though we had not contracted for that, because of the less then professional job we had done prior to the new floor being laid. Thank you Robert and Josh for a great new bathroom and laundry

I contacted Robert Calvo to install a couple of Whirlybird roof air vents on my home. I was pleasantly surprised with the quote he gave me and we set a date and time. Robert showed up on time, was very courteous and professional, had the job completed sooner than I had expected, and cleaned up leaving no mess or evidence work was done. The vents look and work great, and I couldn’t be happier with Robert.

Robert Calvo, General Contractor is amazing. He has installed can lights in my kitchen. He has installed a new attic fan. Also a new toilet!
Robert is prompt, dependable, very efficient, fair and friendly!

I would not hesitate to recommend him for little jobs to big jobs!

Robert has the mind and skills to do any home repair job. He completed numerous jobs for me on a house that was going on the real estate market. He had good suggestions as to how to complete tasks that seemed overwhelming. His prices are very competitive. I will use him for any building repair I have in the future, and I recommend him to friends. He is easy to work with, flexible on work times, and was always there when he said he would be. He came really highly recommended by my real estate agent. Give Robert a call. I'm sure he will be able to do whatever work you need done. G. Romero, Carmichael, CA

I contracted Robert to work on a pretty big project that mainly consisted of the replacement of approximately 30+ panels of siding on my home. Robert completed the job in the specified time frame and did a beautiful job! Not only did he perform the task at hand, he even went above and beyond by installing our cat door on the new side door he had replaced so we wouldn't have to take care of it. In additional to being a professional expert in his field, Robert displays a kindness and calmness not often seen in his profession. This even spilled over to our neighbors who absolutely adored him (and his work) and even asked for his information for future reference! Definitely superior service and he will be my "go to guy" for all of my future home improvement projects.
