This is my first time using Sherlock Leak Detection. As a realtor with over 20 years of experience, I have worked with many trades people, including plumbers, inspectors, electricians, etc.
After hiring a plumber to try and find this leak, I realized that he would not be the right Specialist after telling us that there’s a hissing noise in the pipes and that he would have to trench it to try to find the problem. So, I called Ron and told him that there was an underground leak likely because the vacant property had a DWP bill that skyrocketed versus the prior billing cycle. He understood immediately what needed to be done on this half acre horse, ranch property and told me of the Possibilities and ways that he would determine if there are one or multiple leaks in the pipes. Amit showed up on time and thoroughly went through the property checking everything and then checking the valve Manifold too. He searched for leaks, brought his specialized equipment And located the one dedicated underground pvc line that had multiple leaks, and all three irrigation lines. He wrote up a detailed report and per my request provided me a referral to a qualified plumber for an estimate on replacement of the broken pipe. These guys are a class act!! The price they charge is fair for the result and peace of mind of knowing how to resolve an important issue. I will refer these Specialists to customers and realtors that I know. So if you are experiencing higher than expected water bills which may be caused by small leaks or big ones, I highly recommend Sherlock Leak detectives! Ron was very straightforward with his flat rate and knowledgeable with the right tools. He checked all the toilets inside the house. He checked landscaping and irrigation. We found leaks in one toilet and one sprinkler valve that I got repaired. Hopefully my water bill will go down now highly recommend this company.
