I cannot say enough good things about Tree Pros. This is a team that knows their trees. They are professional, responsible and treat you like family. Their entire team cares about the clients they serve and it shows in their work. I have worked on several projects with Tree Pros and each have been highly successful. If I have ever had a question, concern or additional requests, the response time is always immediate which is helpful to get projects moving along. Trees are trimmed properly for structural integrity, tree species and the clean up is always done well. I have trimmed several hundred trees with Tree Pros at this point and have not had 1 complaint regarding tree trimming and quality of work. That's a win for me especially for a community of 1,826 homes and even more residents. In fact, other vendors have even complimented their quality of work. Cannot thank Tree Pros enough for continuing to be a great business partner!

Where do I even begin?! I’ve been a homeowner at Sonata at Canyon Crest in Riverside for almost four years and we’ve had our share of shameful work done by contractors, but this takes the cake.

Let me actually begin by saying that I have a Ph.D. in Plant Biology and have worked in forestry at Harvard Forest, Yale Forest, and Cal Poly Humboldt. Not only that, but my partner’s family owns a local landscaping company and they’ve trimmed a lot of my family’s trees. Plus, I’ve seen their workmanship firsthand at private, residential, and city properties throughout southern California. Needless to say, I know how trees should be trimmed and how people should take pride in their work.

When it came time to hire a vendor to trim Sonata’s palms and magnolia trees beginning December 2023, for some unknown reason, my HOA decided to go with Tree Pros Inc. Having been connected to the landscaping realm for some time now, I know that this company is notoriously unnecessarily overpriced. My only logical explanation for why my incompetent HOA passed up the perfectly qualified, affordable, and reputable company I suggested is because they thought that the name ‘Tree Pros’ implied that their work is done professionally. That was not the case at all!

While Tree Pros Inc was onsite trimming our palms, they did not cone off sidewalks or practice any OSHA safety standards. Once they were done trimming a palm, they left the seeds EVERYWHERE! Not only were there piles of excessive seeds in our grassed areas, but they were strewn along sidewalks, parking spaces, and handicap ramps where they remain to this day – almost four months later! This is unacceptable and unsafe to say the least! Additionally, countless palm petioles and leaf sheaths were left behind below each palm! There is absolutely no excuse for this laziness and safety oversight.

For the magnolia tree trimming, the work was done quickly and as a result, incorrectly. The employees left behind cut branches on top of car ports and on the ground. There were also remaining branches attached to trees that were barely hanging on. I believe our property manager followed up on this as I saw employees driving around our property during the week of March 11 to pull off remaining partially hanging branches. During this project, I finally saw cones being employed and I finally saw what was likely a supervisor onsite driving around in one of the Tree Pros’ wrapped Priuses. I know I had complained at our HOA meeting the very day Tree Pros started the palm work in December 2023. I don’t know why it took three months for someone from Tree Pros Inc to come check on their employees and their company's work.

I’ve attached some photos, and I will let them speak for themselves. All I have left to say is that there was so much unacceptable work being done onsite that I had to stop documenting it for the sake of having life responsibilities to take care of. This is why we pay ‘trained and certified professionals’ to ensure they have someone overseeing their employees’ work as it's taking place. This responsibility should not fall on a homeowner!

Tree Pros Inc.’s slogan is, “We take pride in providing the highest quality of service.” That is not the case at all! Every homeowner and renter at Sonata at Canyon Crest was victimized and scammed for our hard-earned money and our personal safety has been and continues to be jeopardized. Our monthly dues keep going up excessively and we’ve been charged unwarranted ‘emergency’ assessments. Yet our property’s integrity and appearance has declined exponentially over the years. This experience with Tree Pros Inc was unprecedented and has contributed to the degradation of our property’s appearance and our budgetary situation. Lastly, my photos and testimony has been used by other local landscaping companies as an example for their employees about what not to do. Tree Pros should be ashamed.

We bought a half cord of oak, delivered and stacked. We had a great experience. It was the least-expensive option locally. They were able to bring it the day after we called, and their guy stacked it nicely and was very professional. The wood is split and seasoned perfectly.

I've been working with Tree Pros for almost a year, and they've been excellent. They respond quickly, pay close attention to detail, and always send a certified arborist to review projects before proposals go out. They also do a final walk after each job, which I really appreciate. Their proposals are thorough and come with a clear map and key, so you know exactly what is being trimmed or removed. I've mainly worked with Chase, the arborist; he's professional, friendly, and gives great input to improve my trees. Normally, I get multiple bids for projects, but with Tree Pros I do not bother since they're competitive and the service is outstanding. They give me confidence in the work and make me feel like a trusted partner.

The work by TreePros was exceptional. They took care of all requests needed from our SOW (Statement of Work) for our Los Angeles County Fire Station 173. I would recommend this company for your tree work.

We ordered a full cord of firewood and were very pleased with the quality of service. From Madison who processed our order and coordinated a quick delivery, to the team who delivered it and stacked it for us. Very kind people. I highly recommend Tree Pros!!

Although the man working in the Christmas tree lot offered to take $10 of a tree, it made it NO WHERE NEAR the Lowest Prices Guaranteed like they advertised.

Helpful gentleman took me around in a cart to see what I had asked about and arranged for their crew to come and plant the trees I wanted.

These guys are way expensive. Home Depot and Lowes are 1/2 the price. There are about a dozen other nursery's in the close-by area with much better pricing.

Was looking for some plants for yard. Good selection and reasonable prices. Sales people were very helpful.

Great personal service! I was fortunate enough to have the general manager help me. The place is huge with a wonderful selection of plants, trees and shrubs!

Prices are ridiculous! They wanted $20 for a used, torn plastic planter. Went to Memo's nursery on riverside dr and sold them to me for $2 eash! I've heard through people Moon's nursery is very pricey! Now I believe them!

Amazing customer service everytime! I love it here! My mothers day present and had a ball. We had to make room for my beautiful plants and sat grandma in the back seat!!! Fun times!!!
