We started our project in Sept 2022 and it is now July 2023 and we still have not turned on solar. We have called and emailed and little response. Edison had not accepted our application due to a box not checked it has not been a great experience

The people there are always so friendly and welcoming.

Great company and employees. They have remodeled two kitchens and installed solar for us.

The difference maker with this company is that they install as if it’s their own house. For solar they tuck electrical under eves instead of down center of roof. For construction they give you options and and explain they breakdown in costs with other options that are more elaborate and more cost effective.

The maximize your dollar while keeping your level of standard you want. Also they have experts in all fields, electrical, painting, tile, woodworking...really everything.

Turn-Key did a great job. From the time we signed an agreement to the final inspection was 4 weeks. What took the longest? ...PG&E, it took 3 weeks after our final inspection until we were "apprived for use". Turn-Key staff were helpfull, professional and quick to answer phone and text questions. I would recommend them to all interessted family and friends.

Turnkey has been a very good experience upgrading my solar array. From Ryan in the sales department to Chloe in the customer service department to Aaron in the service department it has all been a good experience. The experience with my home array has be so good that I am having them install an array at one of my commercial sites.

I did extensive research before I installed solar at my ranch, I simply called a bunch of solar company, matter of fact I called them twice and left messages. I didn’t have to call TurnKey twice because they called back after my first phone call. Never got a call back from any other company. The professionals from Turnkey came out, took a look at the site, drew up a plan, gave me a bid got the permits and started work. Two weeks later the project was finished. it was just that simple and easy. I oversized my system so I can charge my EV6. Wow is gasoline over $7.00 a gallon and PG&E at 40¢ a kwh!!! Don’t know because my Turnkey solar system keeps my house cool and car charged! Get yours today….why wait your energy costs are just going to continue to go up. It is not free but it is soooooo much cheaper than what we were paying….

I got my solar system through turnkey and everything turned out amazing from the initial installation to the communication throughout the process I really appreciate how clean they were during installation and how they answered all the questions I had. They were also great with responding back to me about the updates throughout the process dealing with the county and pge overall I’m satisfied and I would recommend them to anybody.

It has been a month since I first contacted turnkey energy about connecting my solar on my new build home.
Since day one they have given me the go around with different representatives.
All excusing themselves with the fact that they just moved offices.
When I was finally able to get in contact with the right person and scheduled a day for their technician to make their way to my home.
He never showed. When I tried calling to see what happened, they would not answer my call. I then realized that not only did the technician not show up. But the address for my appointment wasn’t even correct.
I am beyond disappointed with this company and hope you chose a better solar company to work with.

Turnkey was a wonderful choice for our Solar purchase. We didn’t feel like someone was trying to convince us to get Solar for a sale, but educate us if we wanted to go in that direction. They were honest and reliable, we’ve recommended them to our families and friends. A great experience, no complaints!

Quick contract experience and the product was delivered and installed without months of delays. They had the availability of panels and the battery, which I know many of my neighbors had to wait for months to receive their batteries due to supply issues.
The service team were polite and professional. The only issue was the communication of when the team would be at our house. There were times where I was told they would be at our home by a certain time and not show up or would show up without communication.
However, they were as quick as they could be based on the size of our job and everything is functioning how it was sold to us.

Their knowledgeable and professional staff made the process of installing our solar seamless and they did a great job at helping us understand our system tailored made to fit our family’s needs. While our system was installed quick and efficiently, Turnkey’s customer service didn’t stop there...They continued to touch base with us to answer any questions we had about our new system and gave us clear step by step instructions on how to monitor and properly care for our system to maximize our efficiency. We had an excellent experience with Turnkey Solar and we are reminded of their excellence each month when we receive our energy bill and see the hundreds of dollars being saved!

Turnkey energy used my business to haul the trash from one of their jobs in bakersfield. Their accounts payable department stated that they have no money to pay me for my services. Absolutely avoid them at all costs

Over the past 18-20 months I have had 2 systems installed complete with battery’s on 2 separate properties and there have been hurdles to get over with the county and the actual installation. Turnkey has followed through completely and has been very responsive with my concerns and making sure that the service is professional and to my liking. They always go above and beyond to make sure I completely happy and understand everything. I would like to name everyone in person but that’s a long list. Ryan nominee was my salesman he’s a straight forward individual and I appreciate that. Again thanks to everyone that puts my systems in including the people in the office. Thanks from Mckittrick ca.

Update 2: I wanted to update this review and my rating. I've had 2 minor parts of my system fail. The first occasion turnkey noticed it before I did and immediately sprung into action to get it resolved. The second occasion I noticed it first, but all it took was 1 email and everything else was handled. Not only that, their technician who came out most recently didn't just replace the broken part, he checked over the entire system. They have definitely proven they are willing to put in the work to support their existing customers, and I'm upping my review to 4 stars because of it. At this point I would feel comfortable recommending turnkey as a solar provider to friends and family. I'll leave my original review below for context

I've spent nearly 40,000 dollars on a solar system that has never been properly setup.

I've been tossed around between several account managers and they all refuse to help. It's been over 40 days since reaching out to them and they are trying to act like there isn't even a problem even after acknowledging and failing to fix the problem they now pretend doesn't exist.

It's sad I have to badmouth them publicly but after numerous attempts at warning them I would do this, and being ignored, I have no other option.

So if you are considering turnkey for your solar needs, don't! It was a mistake, I should have gone with literally anyone else.

Update: Turnkey has actually fixed the problem I had. For that they get exactly 1 more star. Why? Because I warned them a week before I posted this originally that I would be doing this, and was met with complete apathy. They didn't care until I came here to complain.

Where was the concern weeks ago when I was told the earliest appointment wouldn't be for weeks? Somehow after this review got posted they got someone out within a day. Weeks of strongly worded emails that were barely addressed yet I finally got a phone call from my account manager after this post. They didn't even hide the fact that it was this post that drove their efforts because they asked me to update my review here as well.

I will admit that I'm happy my system is working, and I'm happy with the quality of equipment that was selected. But overall my experience with turnkey is 2 stars. Given the years ahead of us hopefully they will have other opportunities to repair the damage to their relationship with me.

We reached out to Turnkey due to our inverter being broken, and our solar installer being out of business. While trying to find someone to help us out, we quickly realized that many solar companies are not honest and not for the customer. Turnkey is the opposite of those companies and has been so amazing. You can tell they really want to help customers out and we can’t say enough good things about them. They are honest, and their customer service is amazing. Keith pointed us to Chloe and she communicated thoroughly the entire process and explained with ease for someone who isn’t familiar with all the solar lingo. The technician who came out was quick and efficient, and understanding when I told him I had to get my son through our 2 hour arrival time. If you’re looking to get new solar, or need repairs for your current solar, I highly recommend Turnkey. Thank you so much!

First class. Showed up on time, were very professional, worked hard, finished the job, showed us what they did. Excellent service, highly recommend.

Precall, appointment day call ahead were courteous, tech arrival was prompt. Service and technician knowledge and expertise and quality of service were all fantastic. However, I had issues with a co-worker "Robert " who was translating between me and the technician that did the work. Robert needs to listen before he speaks and learn about customer service...especially if he's going yo be the "face" of a good company.

Never answers phone or returns messages.

Aaron and the team at JZ windows are amazing. They have great products and provide excellent customer service. Above that, they are also craftsmen who do amazing work on all the installs. We are extremely happy with our new Doors and Windows.
