I ordered counter tops, granite special for $41/sq foot. Home Depot uses Duracite for the fabrication and install, the granite comes from Daltile here in Clovis. You go to the yard and are able to pick out your own slab. I liked that!
From order date to install it took about 4 weeks. I ordered on Feb 22, template date March 8th, I could have had it sooner but we wouldn't have had old tile ones removed in time, and install was tentatively scheduled for April 1st, which Duracite met. Once we had our templating done it was 3 weeks for fabrication.
Everything went perfectly, Duracite handled the install professionally and on time. This was something that had me really concerned they could deliver on. The reviews on Yelp were bad. I was very nervous until I looked at the location of the reviewers. They're mostly SO Cal! Southern CA Duracite is separate from the one up here. The one down there has bad reviews but up here they didn't. The one in our area is great!
If you're trying to decide wether it's a good idea to use home depot for your granite install, I can say with confidence they will do great! I had changes in my order, they issued refunds right away. I added a window sill to my order & I could have paid over the phone.
The special order lady Jessica is so nice and very efficient, and she's new! I'd have never known if someone hadn't told me. The lady who helps her is also amazing!
From order day to install I had no issues. Contacting Duracite, I always got a representative, Grace. She was clear, kind and answered any questions I had.
Install crew were Jamie (pronounced Hymay) & Fidel. One spoke English and was very nice, the other was the main laborer, did all the measuring and cutting, very nice but spoke little English. They got my 45sq ft of counter top done in about 4 hours. They were scheduled for 9am, got here at 9:10 & didn't stop until it was done well after 12:30. They modified one of my cabinets to accommodate my under mount Swanstone sink and made it look amazing! It almost didn't fit! Jamie relayed any questions or options to us in English and asked before any cuts for faucets were needed. He was good to make us aware of their recommendations but left the decisions up to us.
I think because they ran late the final touches were a little rushed. I'm sure they were starving. The caulk line around my sink had a spot that didn't get filled all the way in and they left some glue spots on the granite in numerous places. But honestly, it's not a deal breaker for me. They took their time getting the job done rt, last minute details that I can touch up myself are not a big deal. The glue scraped right up and the caulk around the sink can be fixed. If that stuff bothers you just be sure to look everything over really well and have them fix it before they leave. I do wish they'd not have cleaned everything up and taken all their stuff out before I looked it over. But I think we were ready for them to be done as much as they were!
I hope my experience will help you decide. I was so nervous to go with home depot. My dad, a general contractor on So Cal, told me not to. Being in the business down there he knows how bad they are! This is the first time not following dad's advice worked out for me! Lol! I'm so happy we went with the Depot! I love my new counter tops and I have a good experience to hang onto.

Very poor customer service never finished the job its been 4 months in my unit still not working when i call all i get is there no parts or they don't know will never do business with this company again. Unit is still down still waiting.

Workers came to my house 4x and still didn't finish everything, I declined services after a worker chipped my restroom sink that I had just replaced three months prior. I ended up replacing it again because it took them a month to call me and set a day to "repair" the sink.
I also was hung up on by a supervisor because I complained.

They came into our home and insulated and replaced fixtures and they were great. They had told me the light bulbs were 10 yr bulbs and if I needed to replace them to call them. I did call after an outside light went out and was told they only guarantee 1 yr and that my bulb was a two prong bult which they longer have. I took the bulb out and they were wrong. I am having trouble getting a bulb bright enough for the outside.

I will never have this company come do a job at my house . They will absolutely not accommodate people and will not give people appointments. And one guy told me that they will make appointments and they won’t make appointments, so he was very contradictory. One of the guys that came to do a follow up job at my house after I cancel the first one gave me an a big attitude and made me feel a little threatened. Worst customer service ever. I canceled my follow up appointments and suggest you find another company to do your follow-ups.

Through the fresno county EOC HOME IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM. They were able to install us a new water heater. The workers get their job done. Fast friendly service.

We have had the BEST experience with this company. We first got an appointment for them to install a house fan to use when we want the cooler air from the outside to come inside the house, if the inside is hotter than the outside. They installed it quickly and showed me instructions on how to use it. A few weeks later, we get an appointment for installing a new HVAC unit. Ours was super old and used so much energy that our PGE bill doubled from one month to the next! I can't share any details with how much the new bill will be yet but I am very hopeful about this one. The new A/C is currently on and I can already tell the difference! It is way more powerful as I can feel the whole house feeling cold already. Pictured are photos of the updated tech controls. As soon as Marc came to my company to look at the office addition, I knew this was the right contractor to work with. I recommend this business for your stucco needs. Prompt service and the employee, Jimmy, that he sent to make the repair was so pleasant, efficient and skilled. The price was very reasonable. Jimmy was so tidy and there was absolutely no debris left behind. We will be using them again on a bigger project

AAA Roofing replaced the roof on my house and garage. They completed the job in a week. The roof looks great and the price was reasonable. Would definitely recommend.
