Unfortunately Pulte have them as contactor. Since we moved, we are having problems with our AC. Two times someone came to service, but keeps on failing. Been calling, but they’re not so resposive. Frustrating.

Received no answer on call. They have a few good people that care most just want to collect a check and not care about the finish product. Bodies on the job just will not cut it

I bought a new home that used NP Mechanical for plumbing and HVAC. While NP did come out and fix problems, there were too many problems that had to be fixed. All I can say is that their initial installations were poor and shoddy. The air conditioner they installed was broken from the start (since it never shut off, they should have noticed it right away. The sink faucet was plumbed incorrectly (the hot hooked up to the cold and the cold to the hot), again, any competent plumber should have been able to install it correctly. The hot water heater they installed has problems. I don't know if it was due to the installation or there are problems with the heater, but they have come back several times and claim the water heater is fine. While the repairmen they sent out to fix the problems were great, I can not recommend them due to their initial installations.

I have a year warranty on my plumbing. They refuse to come out. I have no hot water
Coming out of my kitchen sink and they refuse to come out say it is non emergency. The lady I spoke to was very argumentative with me and refused to let me speak to someone higher then her and proceeded to hang up on me. Very unprofessional.

If I could give them negative stars I would… the receptionist, Karen is rude, impatient, and no help. She hung up on me when I was trying to ask her some questions.
The staff there DOES NOT answer their phones and DOES not return calls. I have been trying to contact them for weeks.
The emails they have on their websites are invalid.
    DEFINITELY USE ANOTHER COMPANY!!!

This company did the A/C and Heating for the Brand New home that we’ve got, within 24hrs after we moved in, condenser stopped working, builder filed a work order, after about a week, tech came in to fix/reset something, everything worked well for 1 day, but condenser stopped working again, I called them for an immediate service, they gave me a next day appt of 8-12noon, i confirmed with them my appt. on the day of, they said we’re good to go.. now it’s 1145, they just called and said tech was having “car issues” and we have to move appt window to 1-5pm, basically wasting my whole day.

We have issues with AC only after one year’s installation. Have tried contact them, never responded.
    Left messages, no call back.
It’s so hot but they never cares if the AC works or not.

Very bad service, apparently you are all working so much that nobody can pick up the phone or call back. Also, as mentioned by others here, the emails on your website are invalid. How you all stay in business is puzzling to me. Customer-no-service at its finest

Just got a call from them to schedule a repair. This was through the builders of our new home. The girl who called was either too drunk or too stoned to hold a conversation with! (Even dropped her phone!) Unbelievable! I asked her to…”Please have someone else call me”
“OK” Click!!! Doubt I’ll get a callback as I doubt sh’ll remember calling me!!!

Pulte have them as HVAC contactor. I have a problem with my HVAC, called them 10 times, no answer, left many voice msgs to Ray & Ben Walter the GM, no calls back, Pulte is useless once you pass your 1st year, but the manufacturer "Lennox" advised me to call the installer and they should be able to file a warranty claim since the HVAC equipment has 5 years warranty. NO HOPE so far and seems like I'll hire my own contractor, and see how an attorney is going to solve this. Poor installation and poor customer service as I heard from all neighbors in the same community.

Our builder Lennar used these guys for all the new homes in our area in Ontario Ranch. Within the first year, my refrigerant already needed to be refilled. Then they came back a 2nd, 3rd and 4th time, each time they said they couldn't find the leak and just refilled my refrigerant for the year

The last tech pumped in some sealant saying this will do it! Won't leak again! Well.. an another year comes around and my refrigerant had leaked all out again so wasn't cooling the house.

Finally this time around, I requested the builder to use another HVAC contractor (5 star reviews) and they immediately found that my evaporator coil had been leaking and started to rust.

On top of that, they also found that the valve for pumping the refrigerant was leaking but instead of replacing the entire connection, the NP Mechanical technician had stuck glue down the valve so it won't leak from the valve area again. I guess that's why the last guy was so confidently thinking that'll do!

Every technician I've spoke to all these years have been disgruntled and not happy with the company. The customer service is beyond horrible. The builder rep sent in a request and it took them a week and a half (1.5 weeks) to call me about the service ticket. During that time the new contractor called me within the hour and already setup and service appointment.

Horrible customer service, unresponsive and poor project management skills. Had to use them due to our new home builders using them as their preferred contractor. Would highly not recommend this company. Do some more research before selecting them for any project. Still waiting on them just to install a filter which still hasn't been installed and it's been 7 months. They took the bond money and ran with it, not holding up to their obligations in fulling the completion of a system in which they installed. Plus trying to have them come out to inspect issues we are experiencing is almost hopeless and waste of time.

Liars that think they can draw out the warranty time from a customer on a new build instead of proper diagnosis of issues and going to the source of a problem. This company has been to my house more times than I've cut my grass, over the same issue, with contradictions in their actions along the way -- all fully documented by me. If you're searching for an HVAC company to help you, hard pass on NP Mechanical. If you're stuck with them through a builder, document everything and blow them up, force them to work on their mistake and let them know you will hold them (and the builder) responsible for negligence and damage to your property.

Scheduling Issue!!! First identified the AC compressor issue in October. It’s been 3 months since to schedule and got rescheduled for appointments, multiple times. Upon til today, there is still no confirmed date when the compressor will be replaced. Had a call with the CS person on a Monday, told that there is no same-week schedule in front of her to look up what’s the earliest availability. Then was told would return the call on the same day, NEVER happened. The technician is nice and easy to work with. It's a shame the scheduling department can’t do the job.

Couldn't agree more with these one star reviews.. plain and simple this company sucks and the work is horrible! Don't waste your time calling because they don't ever transfer you to someone who answers nor calls back even after leaving 5 VM!! Installment was shitty. Pinched piping and somewhere down the line was a small leak.

The worst service I've never seen. They didn't show up on their appointments.

Horrible customer service. I'm stuck with them for now because of the home builder but they've been to my house 3 times to fix an issue with the AC unit. The first 2 times were useless because the issue wasn't found until the 3rd time someone came. They've been giving me the run around for a week that a part is coming and the damn part needed hasn't arrived. I've been without AC in my new built home for a whole week. A week where the heat has reached 110 degrees in Southern California. They were supposed to call and take care of it but it's now Friday and I guess it'll be another weekend with no AC. They know I have small children in the house and they're still not doing anything. Not even calling back. Extremely upset at this point, my house during the day is almost reaching 100 degrees and during the night, it's in the low 90s. It hasn't been less than 92 degrees inside all week.

I rarely write negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience after giving Lennar and NP Mechanical multiple chances to resolve an ongoing AC issue. The problem first surfaced during the warranty period when the AC stopped blowing cold air due to low refrigerant. At the time, the issue was addressed, but no root cause was identified.
Unfortunately, the same issue reappeared after the warranty expired, and this time a leak was detected. While the parts were still covered under Carrier’s parts warranty, labor was not—leaving me with unexpected out-of-pocket costs. Had the original diagnosis been thorough and the leak identified during the initial service, both parts and labor would have been covered under the Lennar/Carrier/NP Mechanical warranty.
I hope this feedback encourages better accountability and more comprehensive service in the future.

NP Mechanical ...Zero stars if I could. This company has truly mastered the art of wasting time and achieving nothing. Customer service is a black hole, and the plumbers? Let’s just say Google might know more than they do.
Bought a brand new home in Riverside and NP Mechanical did all the pipes and plumbing , the plumbing issues started before the paint even dried. Pipes rattle like a musical instrument every time we flush a toilet or turn off the kitchen faucet. Scheduling help? Sure—if you're cool with waiting 2–3 weeks every time.
First plumber shows up, cuts open the ceiling in three places, only to "discover" that no pipe clips were installed. Then I get to wait another three weeks for someone to fix the drywall—because who doesn’t love living with open holes in their ceiling?

Kitchen cold water pipe noise? “Must be a missing hammer arrestor,” they say. So another genius plumber cuts a 3x3 hole in the kitchen island—surprise! The arrestor is there. Two weeks later, a new plumber arrives and informs me that hammer arrestors only work on hot water lines. Awesome. Maybe a team meeting next time?
He then proceeds to cut three more holes in the wall, fails to fix anything, and says he'll be back. An hour later, customer service calls—guess what? Another three-week wait. I nearly yelled.

At this point, I’ve escalated it to the builder because I’ve officially run out of patience, drywall, and faith in this circus of a company.

My home builder, Richmond American Homes, referred me to NP Mechanical, the installers of my tankless water heater. The unit and home is 1 year old. So, I am looking for a replacement part that for an add-on component to my water heater that was installed by NP. I have been calling for over a week to get someone to simply verify information that I already have gathered pinpointing the replacement part I need for this add-on component. All I have received from NP is the run-around and that's when they decide to pick up the phone. Builders, stop using NP!

Update: Rayanne returned my call and apologized for not getting back to me within a timeframe she had committed to. She was always professional and polite. She did follow up with the information that I needed. I appreciated that.

With this update, I will raises the number of stars I have issued NP from 1 to 3. I think that's fair enough.
