Best customer service! Atara Mechanical installed our home unit and it works great. Regrettably, our business used a different contractor for our HVAC unit. We should of used them again. From the time you call on the phone, they provide great customer service and quality work.

I had three different vendors do the initial inspection, right away his team was the only provider who pointed out the issue correctly. But, that's not the only thing that really bought me. From Initial inspection to post-work clean up, everything was documented, explained in detail, and thoughtfully performed. Atara team was very professional, and I feel like I found the right long-term partner for HVAC care.

Omar is a God-send! We’ve been members of a big name HVAC and plumbing company in Temecula for about 5 years now but when they show up for maintenance every 6 months, it seems like there’s always something wrong. After having them do major repairs year after year, mostly for the same issue or them pushing for a new install, we decided to get a second opinion. So glad we found Atara Mechanical. Omar was courteous, came on time, very knowledgeable and took the time to diagnose and fix our AC. He’s not salesy at all! It’s great to know there are still honest businesses out there who value the quality of their work as well as practice their trade with integrity. We’ll be cancelling our membership with our former HVAC repair company for sure.

It’s been years since my house has had working AC. We’ve had two different people come in and tell us that we needed a whole new unit, and quoted us up to $9k for it. We just kind of figured until something amazing happened to us financially we’d have to deal with hot summers.

Omar came by to quote a new unit for us, and when I asked him if he could tell me what was wrong with our current unit that made us need a replacement, he went out and looked for the problem instead of just giving us the “it’s broken, you need a new one” response, and he actually found the problem! He took pictures of the issue so I’d actually know what was going on and then got to work. Within 30 minutes he’d replaced parts that were broken and we had COOL AIR in the house. And he took pictures of the work that was done and explained them so I’d know what I was paying for.

I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am to this company. I’m working from home right now and was dreading the sweaty summer ahead of me, and now I don’t have to feel that way! And for way less than I thought it would cost. The honesty and efficiency of Atara have saved our summer! They’ll be getting all my references!!

We had a great experience with Atara Mechanical. From start to finish Omar was professional, knowledgeable, and delivered exactly what we asked for/said he could do. He and his team worked quickly, efficiently, answered all of our questions, and were very clean in our home. I would highly recommend Atara Mechanical to anyone with HVAC needs.

Omar saved our lives! In June I called around because I noticed my AC was blowing warm air. All of the coolant had leaked out of the system. We thought we would last the summer by recharging the system and sealing the leak with sealant. About a month later the air was going from warm to cold, then it was just warm. I called my dad’s coworker who was going to complete it as a side job and I thought the price was a little high. I contacted Costco and once I got a call back asked about the price and said thank you but no. I got a quote from a large company and didn’t even bother setting up an appointment. I came across Atara Mechanical by luck. Someone I knew recommended him. But I thought at first we will be okay. Monday hit and I made multiple phone calls because it was extremely hot and I have two small children. We knew we need a brand new system. I gave him the information from the previous person who quoted me and I left out the price. First thing he said was, “I’m sure they are quoting you high for it too.” And they were. He explained everything to me and I asked a million questions and he provided me the answers. The answers were simplified so that I could understand what he was talking about. I truly appreciated that. He showed us what he was doing and explained how everything worked. It was the best decision I made to go with Omar. Our house was cool and everyone slept great.

Great job as always. Erik was professional and efficient. He left the areas he worked in even cleaner than when he got there. 100% recommend them to anyone and everyone!

As a general contractor I used Omar to service a system on one of my rehab properties. He was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and experienced. He takes great pride in his capabilities and service and it shows. After using him on this project I had him take care of an issue I was having on my system at home. With a newborn at home it was an urgent issue and he came out right away. He thoroughly fixed the issue and took care of maintenance that he didn't charge me for. After some time my condensation line got a clog in it at 9 pm. I text Omar and asked him for help diagnosing the problem. He called me right away and walked me through the problem and helped me diagnose and fix the problem. Anyone with a cranky newborn knows how important a working AC system is and I can't thank Omar and his dedication enough.

Careful of the hustle. Please don't fall for the games and what they say. Don't fall for the small talk of family and character. That's part of the game for trust.

My issue was simple. My furnace needed a restart. After restarting my furnace, Atara started adding reasons for fixes and charges. 272.12 dollars later, they started playing with my AC with a portable device (to ensure everything was working), and suddenly, my transducer switch stopped working for heat.

The warrantied part is free, but Atara charged me a processing fee of $75 and claimed they must have the part to get a new one. I spoke my peace and told them I felt I was being taken advantage of. They denied it, and they still had my "new" part in their possession.

I allowed them to come and finish. Now, we are up to $512 with labor. They installed the new part, and guess what happened in less than 24 hours... My furnace shut off and needed to be restarted again.

Highly disappointed. They didn't fix anything.

I made the right decision having Omar and Erik from Atara Mechanical come out and perform maintenance on my AC. They showed up on time and ready to perform the task on hand. Omar took the time to explain the system and the checks he was performing while making sure my A/C was functioning at full capacity. Their professionalism and courteous while conducting the maintenance throughout the house was of the highest standard. I will continue to use and recommend Omar and Atara Mechanical going forward.
