We asked the technician who located a hot water leak in our condo wall to provide testimony in our small claims court case. He described how he determined that the leak was coming from a pipe from the water heater at the upstairs condo. The water was dripping down a pipe to the floor, which was then wicking up the condo wall of my condo. The owner of the upstairs condo didn’t believe my explanation when I asked him to pay for the damage. I took the owner to court & had the CP&L technician testify on my behalf in court. The judge ruled in my favor, thanks to the fantastic work that the technician did to locate the leak and the brief and concise testimony he offered in the courtroom.

Called CPL for a leak in our front yard. They sent out Michael Sottile as our tech. Friendly, respectful, knowledgable and thorough. We appreciated his time and for any future leak detection issues, we will be calling CPL.

Arrived with short notice promptly. Explained all potential charges. Diagnosed what they could and will come back for limited period after we fix irrigation problems possibly causing the leak issues. Fair policy and guys were great and took time to explain everything.

Robert was the first man on the job and did most of the work. He did a great job and worked hard to pinpoint the leak. Second man up was Robert. He was the expert and took it to the finish line. I am more than satisfied with this crew and would highly recommend CPL .

While our leak wasn't substantial enough yet, the technician dispatched (Mike) was outstanding and helping us understand what the problem was, what we were facing and helping us through the process. I would not hesitate to use CPL again. Excellent service and response time.

Cable pipe and leak detection is great! They got me in for an inspection the same day I called! Mike was very pleasant and informative and detected the leak in just over an hour! Highly recommend this company if you suspect a leak!

Two experienced tech's showed up at my property from CPL to find out why I am losing 7.5 gallons of water 24/7, for two months now!
These guys were great, first checking if the leak was inside or outside my house. They confirmed the leak was outside and after walking around and c inspecting all possible water leaks, they discovered a valve in my backyard.
I could not be happier with their service, attitude and expertise.

I am not too happy with CPL . I called to verify that they would be able to trace a PVC water line, and I was assured that they could. We already had another company come out, and they could not trace the PVC lines, that is why I called CPL. When the technician came out he could not trace anything. According to him, he needed some back flow preventer at the shut off valve. This information was not given to me when I booked the appointment, otherwise I would not have contracted the services. At the end I had to pay $600 for nothing. No lines were found and no information was provided. I will not recommend this company ..

Chris came out and located my leak quite quickly! He was also very knowledgeable and explained what he was doing step by step. Very professional and friendly. I high recommend this company this is my 2nd time using their services

Paid $400. Guy said he found the source of the leak. Drew a large rectangle on the spot. Plumber came and jackhammered cement and leak isn’t anywhere under the rectangle nor around it. Company said employee worked on my job for 1.5 hours. He was done in 40 min and sat on the street in his truck. I wondered why, but they use tracking in the truck to show how long on the job , but he was just on his phone. I don’t understand their incentive system for the work. Now I have to pay again to have them look for the leak again? What new information will they have? My plumber will no longer recommend this company because of their new policy and what you have to sign that detection isnt guaranteed or accurate. Waste of a lot of money.

These guys are absolutely awesome. We’ve used them twice now for two different issues. Each time they immediately responsive, got us scheduled quickly, found the issues with as minimal disruption and possible and were slways on time and pleasant to work with. Highly recommend if you need to find where the leak is coming from.

I had tried to troubleshoot a “micro leak” detection notification from a smart water monitor, but exhausted my knowledge and expertise. I called CPL and the initial person scheduling my appointment, was pleasant, understanding and attentive. We were able to schedule it for same day, but had Mike come out the following morning. He was prompt, knowledgeable and communicative. He was able to pinpoint the pressure leak, to a certain tankless heater and pressure relief valve. It was definitely a big relief to know what it could be, so I can have it fixed by my plumber. I wouldn’t hesitate to call CPL and Mike again if the need arises.

Excellent service, from scheduling an appointment to arriving within the schedule time frame. Marco was professional and explained everything that was going to be done for the leak detection process. He took his time and was very thorough with his inspection. I definitely recommend CPL if you are at all concerned about possible water leaks.

Marco arrived during the time specified by the office. He was friendly and thorough. He located 5 water leaks both inside and outside our home that were causing large water bills and some flooding. A very good service i would recommend.

I highly recommend CPL. Jacob was very friendly and professional. He quickly identified where my hot water leak was at and explained what he was doing along the way. He walked me through the process and provided his experienced recommendation for the next steps to take.

I was called by my local water district about increased usage. Checked my water meter and noticed it was still spinning even without water usage, indicating I may have a leak. Explains the puddle that wouldn't disappear in my backyard.

James was great from the moment he arrived at my place. I learned specifically how each of his tools worked throughout the process and got some great advice from him. We found where the leak was coming from, which was located under my 1/2 bathroom within a couple hours.

Great experience. We had a micro-leak that I wanted to find before it turned into something bigger. Plumbers had tested toilets and looked for obvious leaks and found nothing but my Moen Flo device kept saying there was a small leak. Mike was very nice - personable and knowledgable. With his expertise, he found the micro leak pretty quickly. Everyone I dealt with was helpful and very friendly.
