VERY disappointed about the business merger and the fact Mr. Lemos himself didn’t show up to perform the service on my furnace like he has previously.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, Mr. Lemos did indeed sell his business. However, luckily, he’s still on staff and actually making service calls. Mr. Lemos himself came to my house three days after the initial technician and he made everything right. As long as Mr. Lemos is on staff, I’ll continue to do business with this company. After that…………? I’ll need to find an HVAC company with the same skill, integrity and trust worthiness that’s been the trademarks of Mr. Lemos’s reputation.

Trent did a great job for us today. He was very thorough with his service. He even wiped down the grates on the filter vents. He also explained how everything works and why it is important to have your system in working order. Thank you Trent for your service.

I have used Blackwell more than a few times now as they service both my home and a rental property of mine. What I always notice and live is their employees are the most friendly and genuine folks I’ve ever met. They go above and beyond to make sure to be friendly and conversational with me every time. Super super nice folks. Especially Joel. This makes a difference and it’s clear they emphasize this on a management level.

Prices are super fair and not outrageous like bell brothers (absolute ripoff)

They also send you a text when the technician is headed your way which most others don’t. This is nice so you don’t have to sit around waiting for them.

Joel Alvarez showed up at my house for an Air Conditioning tune up. He was on time, very professional, and very friendly. He answered all my questions and concerns. Most knowledgeable technician that I have talked to in a great while. Setting up an appointment with Blackwell was super easy and fast. Other companies are booked for weeks. Blackwell has a wonderful answering system with a live person. There response time for A/C repair on an 114° day was awesome. Joel A. the tech that came out was so polite and explained everything he did to diagnose and repair our A/C. We are so glad they did our original install and continue to provide great service!

Throughout the installation of our new HVAC system, Freddie and David were total professionals. They treated our home and us with respect, answered our questions, and when they left, we felt confident we selected the right company to do the job. I worked with Jessica in completing the inspection for the HVAC. I left a message but I didn't get a call back until 2 days later. She stated we need to schedule drop off paperwork for inspection. I informed her that I would be out in the morning due to previous appointment but would be home in the afternoon. Inspector came by asking where the ladder was. I was not happy in asking inspector to reschedule since it was hot outside and he was already at my home. Fortunately, I had extra ladders and I took upon myself to set it up for the inspector to save myself the headache down the road. I like Blackwell Services but not happy that Jessica did not set expectations.

From my first call to schedule an estimate appointment through the final walk-through after installation, Blackwell Services was a pleasure to work with. Chris, Albert and Isaac were professional, punctual, courteous and knowledgeable. I really appreciated the great communication and the fact they treated my home with respect. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

My Tech was Gabriel Rodgers. He was great. He was very attentive to my concerns and put me at ease. He was able to figure out that a prior AC Tech from another company, sent from my home warranty, had wired my appliance incorrectly when they came out for my heater last December. I had another tech sent out again from the home warranty that had no idea how to fix it. That’s why I called Blackwell and will be canceling my home warranty. Thank you so much for such superior service. Gabriel is an asset to your company.

Brandon, Robert, and Anakin did an excellent job installing my new heater/air conditioning unit. Only had minor problems which Brandon (mostly) fixed.

Contact with Rellaire/Lemos HVAC administrative staff was professional and friendly.

Update: Brandon corrected a few minor items that the Elk Grove Building Inspector mentioned in a report. He came to my house on time and quickly made the repairs. As I stated previously, I really enjoyed dealing with the Rellaire/Lemos staff... everyone has been friendly and professional.

Update: Jim Lemos came by today to drop off a ladder for the Elk Grove building inspector. I've met Jim before and he was always friendly and personable. I find all Rellaire/Lemos staff and management to be extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
My rating of 5 Stars for this company has not changed since I first start dealing with Rellaire/Lemos HVAC.

Our AC went out this week. We called blackwell, and they set us up an appointment for the next day. John arrived on time, he was efficient and you can just tell he had experience and knew what he was doing. John had my AC running within minutes. He has excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend Blackwell to anyone in need. Thank you.

Mr. Lemos, who is still with the new company for a while, came out and made everything right. Rating would be 10 ⭐️ out of five. The only reason I’m only giving four stars is because the tech that initially came to the house did not know what he was doing and worse yet, tried to up sell me an entirely new unit at a cost of several thousand dollars when in reality, my unit was essentially fine. I don’t appreciate being taken advantage of. No one does. It’s unethical and just wrong.

Chris did an excellent and thorough job of sharing our options to replace our 25 yr old AC unit and furnace. He was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all our questions so we could make an informed decision. We will recommend Blackwell Services to our friends.

Blackwell Services staff were very professional and attentive throughout the process of getting an estimate and installing a mini ductless heat and air conditioning system in our home. Chris surveyed both inside & outside, measured rooms, and with our input, discussed best placement and size, then gave us options & pricing for both wall and ceiling units. He went the extra mile at the end of the day to make sure the correct paperwork was emailed to us. Installers Freddy & David showed up promptly on our install day and walked around the home to verify where the equipment would go. They were courteous and patient as we worked out exact placement. They kept the inevitable mess of cutting through the ceiling to a minimum and cleaned up when they were done. Freddy kept us informed through every step of the process and made sure we were happy with the work they were doing. We are very impressed with the service provided by Blackwell Services and are confident that the maintenance and/or service needed in the future will be of the same quality. I highly recommend them!

The Blackwell crew did an outstanding job. Big, 3-day residential job. Professional, automatic notifications when technician is on the way--always punctual. Oriented me on the process, what to expect, the timeline, and even the technology of heat pumps. Albert and Freddy are outstanding to work with. Eric Blackwell is super responsive owner: he got us the best deal out of multiple bids. All of it being flexible and recommending services and options.
