Bought a top of the line clawfoot tub shower kit with British telephone in 2003. The coating was supposed to be a warrantied for life as it was “super coated brass”. The finish tarnished badly within a couple of years while a Glacier Bay lifetime brass faucet we purchased and installed in the same bathroom still looks brand new like the day we bought it.

Called to check the warranty, and they now say we have to send back all the parts for them to recoat. The plumbers fee plus the weeks involved with sending them where we wouldn’t have a shower in our house makes the deceptive warranty very impractical. If they just sent replacement parts it would be smooth and efficient but the warranty is written in such a way where up front you think you are covered and after you purchase, it’s pretty much worthless.

Avoid this brand. Better options out there for less money and with better support.

Almost 10 years in and we still love our Strom tub filler!

I cannot say enough good things about this company! I ordered an entire set of plumbing parts for my vintage sink and clawfoot bathtub. Spent many $$ (more than I should have probably), but made a HUGE mistake in my order. Practically wept, and planned to start over with less expensive (and less beautiful) pieces from a lesser brand. But Strom went out of their way - way out of their way - to work it out and make it right for me, and it is going to be exactly as beautiful as I imagined it!

We ordered a bathroom shower through a local plumbing vendor. The box arrived missing several key pieces and the mounting hardware. I made the plumbing vendor aware immediately. And I made Strom aware as well. After
5 business days, we have been told through the plumbing vendor in 3 more business days they will mail the rest of the shower. It was their omission and they won’t overnight what is missing? And they never responded to me. Quality of the product seems very good but service is awful especially considering the cost.

Josue helped me find exactly the part my plumber was asking for and it didn’t cost a thing.

Have been trying to work with Strom Living for over 7 months to get correct replacement parts for a shower valve body that failed. Have spent over $900 in incorrect parts that have not solved the problem, not to mention over $1000 in plumber's charges because they've had to return to our home multiple times to try to install different (but incorrect) parts that Strom had us purchased. They have "ghosted" my plumber and myself at this point as we've tried to resolve with them what is needed for the repair. They do not reply to emails. They do not answer their phone. They do not return voicemails. It feels as though we've been scammed. I have a shower we cannot use with no apparent pathway to repair it.

I see that the owner has periodically responded to negative reviews on Google and I am sincerely hopeful they will do so here. To say that we've received poor customer service from Strom Living is the understatement of a lifetime.

Update 4/4/24: I do not dispute the timeline described above. After over 8 months I'm pleased to report that we finally have a functioning shower and I am thankful to Strom for following through on what we needed to get to the finish line. That being stated, it did still take 8 months of wrangling and my prior comments with regard to incredibly poor communication are still applicable.

Great service and great products. The support from Alejandro on the sales team went above and beyond in helping us get just what we needed to complete our bathroom remodel in style!

The quality of the products is consistent and I appreciate the compatibility of the historical designs with modern PEX plumbing. It's nice not to have to settle for off-the-shelf designs from big box stores.

It was a pleasure working work Alejandro on my shower fixture order. He answered all my questions and helped me make some modifications to my order once I realized I ordered the wrong size.
