These guys are the best! They added an Enphase Battery to our existing solar system. It was an extensive job of remodeling and rerouting the power to a new location, and made it all work perfectly! Couldn't have asked for more!

Travis was amazing to work with, and the process was quick and easy! From start to finish, everything I needed was responded to quickly. I would highly recommend this company and specifically Travis for all solar needs.

Called for a quote on battery backup installation of Tesla power wall, was given a number more than twice the cost of the batteries. No way simple sub panel, switch, and other labor for wiring costs $20,000. I’m not paying $1,000 an hour.

Jon Bernal Gomez was very knowledgeable and personable. Semper Soraris was my number 2 pick only because I have several friends who are with a different company and are very happy with that company. Plus it was a lot cheaper.

Had a great consultation with Alex Darr, he listened and provided the best proposal of the three companies I talked to. Alex also provided me with an alternate 50% plan that the other companies had not even thought to give me. The design and savings were exactly what were looking for, and will definitely use them if we proceed with solar.

Had solar installed in October and once they had the panels on my roof, they stopped communicating with me, no updates nothing, zero follow up I had to call them and wait on hold for 30 minutes. Spending $60K and you would think they would inform me of what was going on with things, as in call me and update me on what the process was and what was pending, never got a PTO from PG&E and still waiting. The finance company even billed me way earlier than expected, and said sorry we cant help you PAY up. So my mistake for picking this company to do my solar. Bad experience. Beware.
NOTE: Also be careful and don’t think you’ll get the Federal tax rebate back all at once, you wont, they made it seem like I would get all of it back at once, in my tax situation I only got back 10%. NOT the 30% they claimed I would. Quite misleading.

6 Months in still no PTO. So please if you are looking for solar go to another company, learn from my mistake and take my advise. I also filed a complaint with the BBB, I am now losing tons of money and make take this to a lawyer and file a suit against this place.

I contacted Semper Solaris while researching solar power installation at my home in Madera county. My Semper consultant was Jon B Gomez and he was very professional and answered my questions. The price for the project was competitive and I after discussing it with my wife we decided to go with Semper.

I would suggest everyone be very careful when using this company as your solar and roof installation contractor. They claim to be #1 in California and the #1 supporters of veterans. I would have to disagree based on how I was treated at their Central Valley location. I was hired by this company and asked to move halfway across the country for a job. I did so and spend nearly $10,000 in doing so. I was rushed, and in doing so I was injured. Instead of working with me because I did after all make the move from KC to Fresno, they without any warning send me a letter by mail and terminated me. They clearly have no care about the huge move and money I spent, and their termination is discriminatory and unjust, not to mention evil to make someone move and spend that kind of money during a time like this when money is already tight. To me this is a company that only thinks about themselves. They will tell you what you want to hear until it no longer benefits them. Do not use them please!

I informed the co. that I was going to be at work when they arrived and I appreciated that the installer's accommadated me while I was at work. when I got home they had completed the job and the main person walked me through the installed unit and gave me important information. All in all it was a very satisfied experience and they did a great job!! Thanks

My experience with Semper Solaris has been wonderful Travis helped immensely. The crew was on time completed the project in one day cleaned up well behind themselves. The follow up for the inspection was great just a few couple things that needed to correct which was done expeditiously for the re-inspection, my solar passed inspection. It’s been up and running and cleared to run through Edison since the 29th. I have not had any problems. I do have monitoring through Enphase which I check daily and compare it with Edison. I have not used any kilowatt hours according to Edison since it’s been online. I recommend Semper Solaris anyone is looking for solar thank you.

Semper Solaris was fabulous from start to finish. Great value, great service, over the top professionals. My solar rep, Travis, educated us on the entire process, and then kept in constant contact with us throughout our solar installation. Travis was simply the best!!

Just purchased solar and battery for my home. Company has a great reputation and offer great value. If you are considering going solar I highly recommend Semper Solaris and Jon B Gomez! Jon is extremely knowledgeable and very professional! Make sure to ask for him when booking your appointment.

Semper Solaris HVAC Installation – Poor workmanship, worse service

I signed a contract with Semper Solaris in Sept. 2022 for a new HVAC system at my Fresno home. From the start, the experience was a disaster.

Shortly after signing, my assigned Energy Consultant left the company, and I was never given a new contact. Before installation in Nov., the Fresno branch closed, so my crew came from Bakersfield, 100 miles away. The install, estimated at 1-2 days, took 4 because the crew only worked 3-4 hours/day due to their commute.

When the system was finally installed, it didn’t work. The thermostat called for heat, but nothing turned on. I tried reaching the install supervisor—he had quit. The Bakersfield branch had also shut down, and now the nearest tech was in Manteca, 100+ miles away.

I spent months dealing mostly with Vanessa at their San Diego office. She was unresponsive and unprofessional. I repeatedly asked to speak to a manager. Only once did Scott call. He promised a tech would come and said he’d follow up. A tech came; Scott never followed up.

Meanwhile, it was December, with nights in the mid-30s. Vanessa told me to buy space heaters and submit the receipt for reimbursement. I spent ~$100. I’ve never been reimbursed.

From Nov. to March, Sebino, a tech from Manteca, came at least 6 times. He was professional and tried his best, but he wasn’t supported. Only once did a supervisor come—and only because I insisted. Scott showed up, promised the issue was fixed, and again never followed up.

By March, after paying $17,000 and getting ignored, I left a negative review. That’s what finally got their attention. The next day, I got calls from Kay Williams (Vanessa’s boss) and James Henderson (Director of HVAC). They listened, acted fast, and sent Sebino back. This time, he worked directly with James and got the heat working. Kay and James followed up with me. I raised my review from 1 to 3 stars for their effort.

But it wasn’t over.

Winter 2023: The heat failed again. I called Semper, and they replaced what they claimed was a bad furnace. The heat worked.

May 2025: I turned on the AC for the first time—the condenser wouldn’t turn on. Tired of dealing with Semper, I called an independent HVAC company. Their findings were shocking:
• Zero refrigerant in the system; they found a leak in the coil of the “new” unit.
• The leak was obvious, and they said someone had tried to cover it up with putty.
• Condensate pump safety switch wasn’t connected.
• Evaporator wasn’t sealed properly; screws missing.
• No P-trap on the primary condensate line.
• No insulation on the line set from the unit through the crawl space to the condenser.

The independent tech said it was one of the worst installations he’d seen. Unsafe, incomplete, unacceptable.

I’m again trying to get Semper to fix this, but based on past experience, I’m not optimistic. If they don’t resolve this properly, I’ll have no choice but to pursue legal action.

I highly do not recommend Semper Solaris. Poor workmanship, terrible communication, and customer service that only responds once you post a bad review. Save yourself the trouble and go with a professional company.

From start to finish semper Solaris was very professional, customer service is top tier and my rep, Brandon was very communicative throughout the whole process. He made sure all questions I had were answered and made everything easier to understand. Highly recommend for your roofing and solar needs

Recently I purchased a solar system from Semper Solaris, Travis was the representative that I worked with. He was very good communicating the entire solar process. He was available at anytime to answer questions and to check on installation time frames. Semper Solaris has a great product and an even better team.
