We had Jon Bernal guide us through the process. He was super knowledgeable and answered all the questions me and my wife had about the roofing process and solar panels. He went above and beyond to provide us with different packages and price points to get the job completely customized to our needs. We never felt pressured to buy anything, but plenty of options were given for us to consider. Every single installation step was explained in advanced. Customer service quickly setup inspections and made the whole process a breeze.

Solar. While looking for a solar company my wife and I saw a TV commercial from Semper Solaris (SS) among many others. What made us select SS was how other companies sounded very much alike, Semper Solaris, appealed to us, being a military owned company and my being a 30yr Air Force Vet, we thought that we a had better chance of finding some common ground to work from. I contacted SS and soon after got a call from Mr. Brandon Williams, Semper Solaris representative and we made the appointment to meet. Brandon is a very sharp dressed, professional individual with a friendly personality and very knowable in his business. He made a special effort to get to know my wife and me. During his presentation, we spoke of his experiences both of the job and personal. at the end of his presentation which included the layout of how my system would look like on the roof, we decided to go for it. the system is of very high quality, US manufactured and we felt that the investment was an excellent one. Please thank Ms. Felicia Ramirez from the Fresno office for all her support as well as Mr. Brandon Williams for being so Professional and patient with us and thanks to Semper Solaris for being the great company they claim to be. We highly recommend them!

Our project consultant, Brandon Williams, was the absolute best to work with. He was always available to answer any question or concern that we had. He has such a great attitude and is so friendly. He pushes to get things done. We had 3 projects in total which included a new roof, ducting installation, and solar panels. Brandon went above and beyond for us to get us through this process. Sharing my happy experience: I was looking for additional Solar Panels to support my new Home electricity need plus my Jeep 4xe plug-in hybrid. Browsing online I came across with SS and immediately felt good knowing that they are being manage & operated by our amazing Veterans whom my father is a respectful Veteran. So I did make a quick appointment. On April 1st, a Sales expert guy came, named Michael Benavides. He is very knowledgeable, looks professional & trustful and more importantly very friendly & being patient to answer my dummy questions. And we somehow get a good vibe to each other after spending 2-hours chatting. From there, he is always available (day & night, plus weekends) to answer my follow-up questions. And due to the upcoming deadline of NEMA 2.0 I have to get into a signed agreement which I did. I purchased additional 10x Silfab panels to have a total of 20 efficient panels which is the total qty I can have on my roof as per the design recommendation of Michael B. And due to the high demand of Solar installations, he was honest to tell me that the schedule of installation would take 2-3 months which I understand. So they kept their promise and arranged the installer team to come on schedule on June 23, 2023 at 7:30am. There were four technicians who are all great & professional coming with their own Semper Solaris truck which gives me better peace of mind and not some random 3rd party local installers. As a support, I kindly offer them a gatorade drink to energize them and a tip for snacks on their way back home. They finished it in approx. 4 hours. The job was amazing, see the pictures I uploaded. Then I communicated with Michael B. and he is very kind to own the responsibility on following-up the next step from the Inspection side and finally, to get PTO and have my Solar panels fully operational in no time. I am currently in the process of having my solar panels installed through Semper Solaris. I have been communicating with Alex Lake who has been very informative and had patience with me every step of the way so far. I have been very skeptical while talking to MANY other solar companies, But Alex was able to answer ALL of my questions with no hesitation and helped me feel confident that I was making the right decision with solar through Semper Solaris. I am excited for this process to be complete and to enjoy my new solar system. :)

I recently had a new roof and added a power wall 2 to my house. They had to remove and reinstall my solar panels after completion of my roof. After adding the power wall my system started not producing correctly to the point of not producing at all. I've called numerous times over the last month to have someone come out to have it fixed since they said they claim ownership of any issues that arise after touching my solar panels system. I keep calling every couple days and yet I get no call back. I'm satisfied with the work of the roof but highly disappointed of my the work done of reinstalling my solar panels and customer service. As a veteran company I thought they would take more pride in their work and the seriousness of the matter, as a veteran myself I expected precision work, that has not been the case. I don't recommend this company at all to anyone. They don't guarantee or stand behind their work as they claim.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND, Here is why- I received solar from them in May 2022,I chose them because they were military out of the 3 quotes I received . During the installation process they never communicated on the progress, I had to call to get updates, but could not get a clear answer on what was taking so long, they kept blaming the city. Finally after 4 months August 2022 solar is in. Now that we've had so much rain, we have a leak in our roof we called, emailed and nothing. One guy Kenzie came to see what the damage was, and he said someone would be out by end of week and that was on February 27, 2023, it's March 15, 2023 and no one has responded to my email nor have they called me or my husband as i left both our numbers. I DO NOT recommend them at all terrible customer service. I've been on hold for over 20 min, left my name and number for a return call and no one has called me yet and that was last week.
Want to follow up - while the roof issue was not do to the Solar installation, their customer service is still not very good at all.

This is a very basic installation company. The design team left a lot to be desired. They installed 1/3 of my panels behind a pine tree and the HVAC unit, which casts a shadow after 3 p.m. They could have used the other side of the south-facing roof instead of the west side, where the pine and the HVAC unit are located. I requested the panels be relocated, but they didn't. I spoke with the engineering and Quality Assurance manager regarding this issue, and they took no action. I am losing generation power in a third of my panels. That is an energy I could be selling, but instead, I am paying thousands at a true-up.
This company does not even provide cleaning services to the panels. I do not recommend it.

Update after a call with Samper Solaris Customer Service on 12/20/2024:
As they promised, someone called me to offer a solution to the issue that caused my dissatisfaction. The person I spoke with offered to relocate the panels IF I pay for the labor and material. The CS representative told me that I had approved the job. Really! Why should I know how the solar panels need to be installed? It's like going to the dentist and getting a procedure the doctor recommended, and after that, you're unable to chew from that side. When you complain, the doctor says, 'I agreed to have this procedure performed.'
These people are nuts! I am paying $80,000 (for the roof and solar panels) to this company, and I am not 100% satisfied with the work they did. I complained, but they ignored me. After I made it public (Google Review), the solution they offered was for me to pay more money to them.
Final advice:
You can avoid this company; there are other options available.

Our scheduled repair was between 8 & 10am, and Brandon arrived right at 8. He quickly diagnosed the problem, replaced the failed part, and had the heater rewarming our home. Also, while fixing the main problem, he did some preventative maintenance on the unit. This was all done by a professional friendly tech, who let us kwow exactly what work was being done. Thank you Brandon!

We recently decided to convert our 25 y/o home over to solar. We contacted Semper Solaris and Dorian began working with us right away. He understood our needs to cap rising utility costs and proposed a design that would help us harness the strong sunlight here in Central California. Dorian has been available, knowledgeable and a good communicator regarding options for solar power. He listened and addressed special needs of our household that include a medically disabled individual with heat intolerance. The design included all his professional recommendations regarding panel placement and will meet our needs along with battery support. Dorian is easy to work with, provides resources as needed, addresses questions professionally and thoroughly, and encourages customer participation at all levels of the process. His follow-through is excellent and we appreciate the ability to build a longterm relationship with Semper Solaris. We are very pleased with our service level and can highly recommend Dorian and Semper Solaris.

I had him come to maintain the ac, check on a leak with our crawlspace. I needed them done by 9:30 but they did not send him until 9:10, he was out by 10:45 and did not do his full thing - which is not his fault I think. who knows.
