While this store is certainly open to the public, the actual parts counter is better suited for pros. As long as you know what you need or have enough details about your project, this is a great place. I am a contractor and have been buying here for over 25 years. This place has always been on the top of my list of supply stores. If you feel Fresno D is over rated or over priced, you must of got lost in the showroom.

I went in the day after Christmas to get two parts for my kitchen faucet. The guy behind the counter went looking for the parts and when he couldn't find them, another guy started helping. Two guys looking for two parts that may total $12! When the parts were located I was amazed at the low price and the wonderful service.
I wish more places were like Fresno Distributing.

Had a horrible experience! I work for a very busy fire and water mitigation company and was trying to find a new vendor for our rebuild department. Was looking for a unique vanity for a customers home and Amir Shahin the sales guy in the showroom refused to help at all! He just kept telling us just look at the magazine we have that’s all I can do is what he kept saying! I asked can you please just look at this picture on my phone and tell me if you have anything like it and he insisted on refusing to make sure I felt like I was taken care of 100%!!!

I was a first time caller looking for an wall heater pilot assembly. The salesman that answered my call listened to my question and knew what I was talking about, but was willing to let me text a picture of the part n I was able to match it perfectly....so needless to say...i added them to my supply house list and will definitely continue to do business with them....forget home depot.....

What happened to a once amazing company? I ordered several parts for a bathroom remodeling from their sales team. I got a call saying the parts had arrived. I found out after driving across town that only a few parts were there. My project was delayed a week. I finally received the order and scheduled the plumber. On site the plumber said the salesperson didn't order the additional assembly to install the drain. I then had to rush to Lowes to buy a different kit to complete the job. Finally, the faucet spout had a manufacturing defect which the plumber pointed out and said I needed to exchange that part to complete the job. I raced across town to return the part that I now couldn't use and exchange the defective part. After waiting 45 minutes for a service representative to accuse the plumber of breaking the part and then after acknowledging the salesperson didn't order the full assembly stated that we don't accept returns on special orders and we think that your plumber broke the part so we won't exchange that either! Omg! I ordered $400 worth of parts and was then treated like a criminal. Let my lesson be your lesson. AVOID THIS JOKE OF A BUSINESS or you too will have a horror story like mine!

I ordered some special order items almost two months ago and am still waiting on a few things. I have to say customer service is ok when they are not busy , but when they are busy (which is almost always) it is as if they don't know you. I've been promised phone calls back …am still waiting. I think they could use extra help in the showroom. I finally went in to check on my order and again it took quite a while. They are not good on follow through. I'm all about supporting small mom and pop businesses,that's why I came to them in the first place, but in retrospect I should have gone to Home Depot, Loewes, or even Fergussens. I think the plumbing counter may be ok, if you know what you need, but I won't be back to the showroom….only to pick up my order…if and when it gets here. Oh well, live and learn. You may have better luck.

while it seemed they had a fairly decent stock of items to choose from the customer service was awful. Man at the front desk asked after a few minutes of already looking around if we needed help, however was reluctant to actually provide any kind of help other than rudely pointing us in the general area of what we needed, so why even bother asking us? Should have just continued to ignore us. I've never been treated so rudely by a place of business. Sorry for bothering you with a question when you asked us if we needed help. I felt so appalled after leaving there that I decided to created an account just to right this review! horrible... if you're looking for somewhere to go in fresno try CENTRAL distributing. World of difference in customer service, stock, and prices! Forget this overrated place.

Fresno distributing Company is a great place to find things that you normally can’t find anywhere else. Virginia in the electrical department is an angel. I got my problem fixed. I’m very happy. Thank you Virginia.😊

Walked in with a long punchlist of parts I needed. Ken took the list and got to work pulling every single part on my list from 2” copper fittings down to 1/2”. Not only did they have everything on my list (over 20 different items) but it was less than 1/3 the cost of Fergusons!!!

Your review has been proven to be full of untruths and lies. When you received the water heater from us, the box is checked and there was no damage to the box. When you returned the water heater, you stated in your review it was unopened and undamaged. This is untrue. The box was open and ripped down the side. You stated that it was too large, which would not be detectable without opening the box. We have the photos to prove this. You said in your review that no one helped you and had bad customer service. Since you were not given what YOU wanted that is against our posted and written company policy, that makes us have bad service? Another false accusation. Again you said you were only given partial refund. You were given 90% back which clearly is not partial ALSO you didn't bring back all the items on your receipt so of course we only gave you a refund for the product you brought back. If you feel any of this is untrue please feel free to call us, we dare you right back. We may not be able to answer everytime our phone rings but we are giving our customers that we are currently helping with the best service we can. We have a secretary that can take down any questions and we can find out the information and we do call our customers back. We encourage customers to read all reviews before deciding to not shop somewhere due to this issue on deceit and lies. Thank you.

Standing in line no one in front of me and there all on there phones doing nothing if I was able to post a picture I would been here for 20mins and no one has even said I'll be right with you not even a good morning how are you nothing...... Worst customer service ever

Purchased a water heater , Not being an expert I wrongly purchased a water heater that was to big for the available location of my older home. I went to return it ( never installed or taken out box) The told me because the box was damaged they would not refund it to me. I spent 700.00 for this unit they used a forklift to bring it out to me when I purchased and box was already in a questionable condition. I asked to talk to manager all he did for me is give me partial refund on unit I lost 100.00 on this transaction. It was very disappointing with the way I was treated and how they did not really care for their customers. I still need a water heater but because of the way things were handled I decided I would not give them anymore of my money. Things are tough right now financially , these people took advantage of me. I give you a fare warning do not shop here. I would wish the owner would look into his level of customer service. If you have any doubt try calling them and reach out to the pluming department they will never answer you try it I dare you.

Knowledgeable staff, good selection of hard to find stuff. Only gave 4 stars because service is not very quick. Expect a wait.

Good place to get parts and supplies for plumbing jobs. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend doing your research first to make sure you have the right parts for the job.

I try to buy a new sink there was only 2 worker today one guy and one lady. I lady name jade was very helpful. She told me she work in the office. The white guy really passed me off he was rude

Just want to say WOW. This place under new management and they have everything at great prices now. Reminds me of the old Fresno D back in the day when they had everything. Customer service also very good and well staffed. 👌
