We had a water line break in our attic and had American Leak Detection come out for leak detection them leak repair. Our technician Jose did an excellent job in repairing the leak, checking other areas of the pipe for any issues and then cleaning up any mess left behind. He was professional, knowledgeable,. I couldn't have asked for better service from him. Thanks Jose

In the military we joke about things being sub-par as being "military grade". Never have I ever attributed sub-par performance to "American" until I utilized this leak detection service. First, I was told I didn't have a leak. Then, that my fridge was probably my problem. Lastly, that I'd be better off fixing my issues myself.
I still have a leak and they weren't able to determine from where or why. Save yourselves $340 and call someone else. Or just "fix it yourself" - American leak detection

Update*** I called All star plumbing and the leaked was found and fixed!!

I would definitely recommend this company for any pipe problems that you might have! I personally know that the on-site technicians are polite and well trained, and the office staff are very thorough if you have any questions about the work needed to be done. There is always someone in the office to answer any questions so the customers just have to reach out and explain their needs as precisely as possible. I'm reading some of these other reviews and it just appears to be some misunderstanding on the customer's side. Mike, the owner, knows his craft and puts customer service above all else so you can trust for either he or his technicians to complete the job for you and have it done RIGHT!

The ALD Team was absolutely amazing in getting our pool leak properly detected and very fast and thorough in repairing the leak itself. I can’t say enough great things about this group and will use them again for any potential leaks in the future! If you have any plumbing issues and need a reputable and professional group to find and repair any leak related issue American Leak Detection is the only place you need to call! They’re the best! I called American Leak Detection because we had a leak in our home, turned out to be what’s called a “slab leak” I was so impressed with the knowledge, professionalism and the quality of service I was provided by the technician and the office staff! I was rather frazzled when I called in for service as you can imagine, but I was scheduled for a technician to come out right away, he found the leak almost immediately an estimate for the repair was provided and the leak was fixed within days!! Did you know they also do repairs?! Anyways I highly recommend them and would use them again if I needed too (knock on wood lol)

My neighbor referred me to American Leak Detection after another company couldn’t find the leak in my home. American leak detection was friendly and effective! They were able to send someone out the very same day, found the leak and solved my problem so quickly! Honestly I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Their service and willingness to go above and beyond for their customers is unparalleled. Highly recommend this company.

American Leak Detection has been an outstanding business to work with.
On Thanksgiving Day, we were notified about flooding in two of the Apartments that we manage.
It was a very difficult and traumatic experience, especially during the holiday's weekend.
However, Jennifer from American Leak Detection was a godsend blessing who had compassion and understood stood the impact this devastating situation had on the tenants and their families.
She immediately worked on shuffling the schedule of her top technician who had been booked solid for 2 weeks to squeeze him in the next day to assess the situation. By Jennifer's immediate response to getting her technician out the next day, all 4 units were able to have the water turned back on that day after having no running water for nearly 5 days.
American Leak Detection is an outstanding business owned by professional, efficient, compassionate, and knowledgeable people. We were totally impressed by Jennifer's caring and efficient attitude throughout the entire situation and how knowledgeable she was in helping us through the process by reducing the stress that comes along with flooding of residences.
We would highly recommend American Leak Detection in the Fresno area and are fortunate to have Jennifer at the head of the helm with her expertise and leadership skills!!

Such a positive experience!! i was so astounded with the service that I got from American Leak Detection. (Re-routed hot water lines). Your customer service skills are far above the rest. Every time I called to schedule an appointment I was always greeted with kindness and professionalism beyond compare! Especially with the owner Jennifer, you need to be commended. All the gentlemen technicians that came to my house for plumbing repairs especially the lead worker Cesar an his crew Jose, Briann, and Michael, were always extremely professional, honest, fair, and courteous and dressed properly uniformed. Again, not something that is always found in various plumbing companies, let alone other companies. Plus, they were kind to my dogs...which is always a plus!, Due to this high quality of customer service and premium quality of repairs, the Fresno city inspector commented on an excellent work that American Leak Detection had performed on my repairs. I couldn't imagine taking my plumbing needs elsewhere.! We would highly recommend them to friends, family, and anyone else in need! I greatly appreciate this kind of service in today's society.

Very good experience with this company. They found my leak and stand by their work. Communication was on point.

In January 2023 we had a repair done with American Leak Detection after remodeling our home of 15 years. To ensure that we didn’t have any issues under our home. We made a home warranty claim. After further inspection they were able to “fix”

Actually put a bandaid on it to be exact. After calling her and getting a “discounted inspection” of $125 because she stated it was supposed to be $340

We were emailed a copy of the report and after we called to see how much the repair would be. She let us know that they were “too busy” to take on the job.

After being condescending not only to my wife but myself. About a very “cut and dry” report. She told us that they have the right to refuse service. Which is true and stands in ANY business.

I’ll be personally reporting this to BBB as in our original contract it states that it’s under warranty for 1-5 years for MAJOR repairs. We paid $1400 for that job last year.

Yes, it was last year. However, the repair estimate contract doesn’t STATE what is considered major and not.

When we spoke by phone on a recorded line. She clearly stated that “this is how laws get created”

I told her I know I know. Someone gets hit by a train and then they put up railroad crossings. Point being that why wait until it’s an issue? For the future I suggest that they CLEARLY STATE in the estimates what a “MAJOR” job repair IS!

This could had all been prevented as we’re selling our house and I don’t care of this costs us $2500 or more. But, Jennifer the owner I believe is clearly in over her head. She doesn’t understand how to take care of customers in my opinion-and surprised she is still in business treating people this way.

Saying things like “it’s cut and dry” or “let’s go over it then shall we”? I’m not your CHILD!

Speak to me like a customer and not a child. Little does she know we have 3 other homes and will NOT be coming to ALD for anything further. As well as reporting this DIRECT to BBB and our AAA contact. ASAP

PS: Had you told us to repair this last year we would have. You can see an image of the SAME pipe from 2023. We understand the dirt needs to be excavated. However, it needed to be LAST YEAR if that’s the case!

We have a very steep, long concrete concrete mountain driveway. The last leak under the driveway took 2 days to find so this time we decided to use American Leak Detection. The tech located the leak with their high tech equipment, marked the spot, without digging around
to find it. Next the repair team cut thru the concrete to repair the leak and it was exactly where the tech had marked the leak to be. The leak was repaired by making a small concrete patch. The team was great and we were very happy to have water again.

I just paid them $295 to come out to my house on Monday for me to call them back on Wednesday morning to just let them I found a related leak I think was missed and if they could come back out and double check it they immediately started pushing back and telling me that when I scheduled my inspection that I scheduled a home inspection not a pool inspection when obviously my leak has been coming from my pool from the very beginning Exactly where they said the leak is coming from so why would I have a inspection from my leak from my pool If I paid for a home inspection and not a pool inspection? You’re just trying to get more money out of me and that starts from the top so I’m not sure what your position is their Carissa But we will be finding somebody else and I would really like my refund for my $295 now as well

Already having been in the construction industry for 40+ years, I can say from the first phone call working with American Leak detection was an absolute pleasure! Promptly they were out to detect the leak with an awesome personable employee, then days later out to break through our slab, repair the leak and button it all up with new cement! All in a matter of days! Kudos to all of you!

After months of dealing with a pool leak and wasting thousands on unnecessary repairs from other companies, I finally called American Leak Detection. Tou and his colleague were extremely thorough and knowledgeable. Tou pressure tested the floor jets, ruled them out, and then dye tested the spa where he found the real issue: a structural crack that had been missed for months.

I'm frustrated it took so long to find, but very grateful Tou took the time to properly diagnose the problem. Highly recommend American Leak Detection, especially Tou, if you want the job done right.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with American Leak Detection Central CA. Every single person was wonderful, helpful, and incredibly experienced and professional. Jerry, Brian, and Caesar did a complete hot water repipe in one day during, Christmas week. Amazing. I cannot thank them enough, especially Jerry who helped with the initial leak detection. Incredible professionals at this company. Every phone call I had with the office was so helpful, and customer service oriented. I cannot recommend them enough!
