I hired this company for a residential electrical project. My experience involved a major dispute over pricing, change-order procedures, completion, and correction of the work.
The original written contract was $15,000. During the project, the contractor later sought approximately $14,000 for the MPU work, plus several thousand dollars in interest. I did not sign a written change order establishing that additional $14,000 price before the additional work was performed.
The project also involved disputed incomplete and correction items, and the matter was ultimately referred through CSLB to mandatory arbitration.
Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that homeowners require every change in scope, additional charge, credit, and payment schedule to be clearly written and signed before the extra work begins. I would also recommend keeping all communications, photos, inspection records, and payment records in writing.

Business seems shady. They sold cameras to my elderly parents in early 2021 and installed them. Most of the cameras haven't worked since late 2021 even though they are supposedly hardwired into the electrical system and my parents have zero documentation on what kind of cameras they were sold. All they had was the phone number of Jia Wang, the salesperson. (Luckily, they have a separate alarm monitoring system with a million sensors.) Finally, this year, I decided to call and text Jia - no response. When I finally got a hold of her, she was rude on the phone and told me that the business had shut down. I asked if she could at least tell me the name of the business - maybe it would help me search through my parents records again. When she finally told me the name, I did some digging (and found one invoice for over 1k) and it turns out they are still open but have stopped doing cameras. And she still works there. When I called the main office, they still had no records and no one could help me figure out what they had sold. I docked a star for the cameras going bad so quickly (and having no model number on them), one star for Jia's non-responsiveness, one star for the lack of record keeping and sharing, and one star for misleading me into thinking the business had closed. I will say that the receptionist seemed very nice and tried to help and deserves a better work environment.
