Showed up on time and smelled great. Replaced 21 year old water heater with new model of same size and brans, and put in out new parts to get it up to new codes. No pushy salsa tactics for add on parts. Did a great job.

Excellent service from start to finish. The team at Fast Water Heater Company made the replacement process seamless. They were punctual, transparent with pricing, and the quality of the install is top-notch.

Showed up on time and got the work done. I can't say that about the two other companies sent out by the home warranty company which is worthless. Glad to be working with a professional finally.

Alejandro Sanchez came to inspect and give his recommendations..
He was very professional and even gave me a repair far less than what I had pre-selected.
I chose the complete install. He is an outstanding person and i have completed trust in his professional work ethics.
Would use them again without reservations. -
Mike and Walter were extremely professional, courteous and timely replacing my hot water heater. The company was communicative, and their techs are knowledgeable and friendly. Had a quote that was much higher from a competitor a couple of days before and was pleased to know that company’s like this and techs like this still exist to get a job done without giving you the runaround. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone.

Entire experience was excellent. From Michael who took my consult request to Giovani who did the install.

Haven’t replaced a water heater in 22 years so was surprised at how costly it was($2900) but everything has gone up. The technician that came out (Walter) was punctual and did a great job. Was very thorough, clean. I’m very pleased but just blown away at price but checked around & in the ballpark

Service: Old gas water heater replacement for $649 w up-to-code upgrades and Lomita/CA City Permit ended up in a $3000 bill through HDepot and their installation service.
Pro: Very responsive as I bought through Home Depot and used their installation offer as they also take care of the permit process which seems now to be a big thing. Installation guy came out and went over ALL the things that are not up to code ... oh wonder, place is 30 years old and water heater 15+. City inspection in a few weeks will tell how good the installation was.
Con: Non-Transperency of Cost Breakdown. You get a big initial installation cost figure for water heater, installation and permit process. Exactly for those 3 items ... there is no real break down of parts and labor. Additional work is handled the same way. And that is where it gets expensive. Example: I knew that my earthquake straps needed to be replaced as well as a drip pan. They said the drip pan is $60!!!!! ... I got one for $17.89 at Home Depot. They do mark up parts by 200-300%!!!!!! Hence my advice for the future. Don't mention you are going to buy parts yourself, actually have those at hand already when meeting for the consultation onsite, like ball valves and shut-offs for gas and water, gas line drip pipe, t-pieces and connectors, drip pan, earthquake straps, expansion tank and holder, installation kit etc. But ask at the VERY END end for an ITEMIZED, parts and labor, cost estimate ... then ask them to take off all the parts items ... this will save you $$$$$. -
Alejandro Sanchez was awesome. He was very patient in explaining the process and he was very skillful and experienced in his work. I would not hesitate to refer FWHC and Alejandro to anyone. I was very pleased with his work.

This company patiently answered all my questions and Quentin was professional, kind and efficient. I appreciate how when they came to access the job that they automatically had the water heater to install if you were in agreement. No delays. I am a satisfied customer and would highly recommend them.
