When I bought a gas valve from them, I asked the cashier if I could return it if my furnace issue wasn't related to the valve and I didn't use it. They said yes, as long as it was unused. A few days later, I called to confirm this policy again, and the manager agreed that returns would be accepted under those conditions.

However, when I arrived with the item, the manager suddenly changed his mind and refused the return. When I explained our previous conversations, he became hostile, telling me to "look for their contact info" himself.

I just got an update from the Better Business Bureau regarding my complaint. Apparently, they've been trying to reach out to Johnstone Supply multiple times without a response, and now this case is marked as "unanswered". I'm extremely let down by Johnstone Supply's behavior.
