I called about my working wall unit that wasn't cooling properly and was told they'd diagnose it for $90. If I agreed to have it fixed, that cost would be credited towards the repair.

The "problem" turned out to be a thermostat, which wouldn't even require an hour's worth of labor at $15 per part - let alone the whopping $550 needed to buy a brand new unit. Another company came in and did the job in half the time for a fraction of the price, and they even showed me how to fix it myself. Meanwhile, this company charged me $200 to repair just three units with different issues.
