I recently remodeled my kitchen, we were very happy with the outcome, the designer from HB Home Decor Aline was very cooperative and accommodated several design changes that we demanded during the course of the project, additionally I should personally thank King, he was the project manager for this remodeling project, he is always friendly and with smile listen to the changes on the fly, I would recommend this company if any one is planning to remodel kitchen or Bathroom, very professional team, besides provide material as well, We are planning to engage this company next year for bathroom remodeling in my house. In 2024, we entrusted HB Home Decor with the remodeling of our master bathroom, and we are extremely satisfied with their exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and ability to customize the project to meet our specific needs.
Our previous experience in 2023 with MADE Renovation, a now-bankrupt startup, provided a point of comparison. The guest bathroom remodel with MADE took seven weeks to complete. Their approach—pre-ordering and storing all materials in advance—was intended to prevent delays. However, unforeseen material shortages still arose, as not all requirements could be accurately identified through online consultations. On-site assessments by contractors remain essential for accurate planning.
For our 2024 master bathroom remodel, HB Home Decor followed a well-structured process with clear milestones:
* Mid-May: Initial contact with project manager Aiden
* June 10: Contract signed
* September 18: Demolition began
* October 1: Installation of curbless shower pan
* October 9: Concrete board and tiling work
* October 23: Installation of vanity, countertop, bathtub, and other fixtures
* November 12: Project completion, pending vanity faucets due to manufacturing delays
* December 10: Faucet installation completed
The overall construction timeline spanned 11 weeks, excluding the waiting period for the delayed faucets. While this may seem longer compared to the seven weeks spent on our guest bathroom, our master bath is nearly four times larger, and several design adjustments were made during construction, including:
1. Shower Pan Resizing: We realized the original shower dimensions were too large for the space and requested a smaller size. Aiden and his team promptly accommodated the change, redoing the shower pan without issue.
2. Schluter Trim Adjustment: The original Schluter trim did not complement the tile as expected. The team carefully removed a portion of the already installed tiles and installed a better-matching Schluter, demonstrating their commitment to perfection.
3. Bathtub Replacement: The initial bathtub arrived with cracks. Despite the three-week delay for reordering, HB Home Decor efficiently managed the schedule to minimize disruption.

Throughout the project, project manager Aiden was highly responsive and communicative. Whether through text or phone calls, he was always available to address our questions and concerns promptly. His transparency regarding costs and potential changes helped us stay informed and confident throughout the remodeling process, ensuring there were no unexpected surprises.

We started our remodeling of full house 1 year ago and find HB kitchen and bath online. We asked several quotes from different companies and HB is the best. Also Aidan is very nice and easy to communicate with. He makes useful suggestions on design and details. Then the remodeling started and things moved nicely and steadily. Aidan makes sure we are fine with everything before going on to the next step. And during the final touch up, Aidan helped to make sure we are happy with every single details. And finally we are very happy with the remodeling.

We have heard from our friends who did remodeling and their contractor are hard to communicate with and the whole process for them are not satisfying. So we are glad that we find HB and Aidan to help us with the whole remodeling. Definitely will recommend to everyone.

We hired HB as our contractor based on the good reviews that customers had given on their website. We were told that it would take about six to eight weeks to complete the project, but the project finally finished over eight months later. It was a disaster and a nightmare for us. There were too many mistakes, miscalculations, and damage (on our brand new floor). We paid basically 80% of the total cost of the project in the first six weeks expecting the project would finish in eight weeks. We basically called the contractor every week to make sure that the project would finished in close proximity of the time line that HB gave us. Our kitchen design was changed because of the miscalculation from their designer. Never again would we have them do a project for us. The bad experience we had with them is not acceptable because of the glowing reviews they received. It didn’t reflect on the quality of work they performed for us. The only good thing about HB was the ladies that work at the store, especially Jasmine. Also, their prices on the tiles are very cheap compared to other stores.

We recently had our kitchen remodeled by HB Kitchen and Bath and are very pleased with the results. The work exceeded our expectations and was completed on time and within budget. while no remodel project is completely without surprises, ours were minimal and handled quickly and without any stress.
Both the workmen and office staff were all very professional and knowledgeable and have a very keen eye for details. I would not hesitate to recommend them for your project.

We got a major bathroom remodel and later on a teardown and refresh of our garage. Aidan was our point of contact who drove both projects. His estimates for the project were competitive. It was one of the factors that helped us choose them.. but the one other thing that solidified our confidence in giving him the project was his communication. His ability to understand what we are trying to achieve and convey to us the challenges/alternatives.
Also they are able to tackle complex projects.

Project execution overall was good. While there were some delays, it was not too bad. Throughout the process he was very responsive on WhatsApp.
Good way to work with them IMO is to figure out as much of details of what you want done at the start of the project.

HB kitchen helped remodel our galley kitchen. These folks are an absolutely amazing lot to work with. They went out of way so many times to accomdate our needs and ensuring that we were truly happy. Eva was our main contact person but I can easily say that rest of their team were helping too.

Our kitchen remodel was highly constrained as we weren't changing any walls or structural changes. Besides it being a small kitchen, we were really particular about space usage efficiency. Eva must have made like 10 to 15 different designs for me, and never showed frustration :) The thing with prefab cabinets is that, while economical, it comes in only limited sizes and often a lot of space is wasted in fillers. Eva really helped us minimize that. There are so many fine things, but if I have to point one, notice the full wall tall 6 inch wide spice rack between the refrigerator and the wall - that was HB kitchen's idea to maximize our space usage and give us something functionally usable. No other cabinet store, including the whole lot on Brokaw Rd had ever proposed such an idea.

Our remodel was planned to begin just around the time covid lockdown order came in. Unfortunately that meant uncertainty and hustle, as situation was evolving very fast with store closures, stopping all construction work and so on. HB kitchen, on their part, prioritized things for us and ensured that at least I didn't have to deal with cabinet delivery uncertainty. My remodel still got delayed, but at least not due to HB kitchen, who put customer satisfaction above all.

We recently completed our complete kitchen makeover with HB Kitchens. HB was recommended by couple of friends. Our cabinets are from an Italian company and were installed by the cabinet contractor, but HB did everything else. I was a little nervous working with two separate contractors but there were zero issues. They worked around each other’s schedules and coordinated the dates of the delivery for tiles and Miele’s installation. HB additionally took care of all permits.

HB gutted my old kitchen, removed old tiles. They redid the electrical including outlets for appliances & cabinet lights, new LED ceiling lights, etc. They suggested locations of lights, switches, & outlets. They updated wiring from the main panel (per code) and added for radiant floor heating. They updated my main panel and also added an outlet for my EV car charging in the garage.

HB replaced my kitchen window, installed radiant floor heating, new tiles, and prepared the place for the cabinet contractor. After the cabinet contractor had installed the cabinets, Miele came to install my appliances and HB made sure the electrical and gas lines and water connections were ready for their pre-inspection and subsequent install.

They installed my quartz counter top, sink, garbage disposal, instant hot water tank, water filter, and the hood over the cooktop. Wei, one of the owners of HB, advised me on the brand for the sink appliances based on what he used on his own home. They grouted the tiles last to avoid them getting dirty.

All their workers were very good – each specialized on a different aspect of the kitchen. They were polite, timely, and took pride in their work. During the entire process, they put plastic sheeting as needed to make sure that dust did not go into rest of the house, and also put a special zipped plastic thing for the kitchen entrance so we could still enter the kitchen area to go to family room. We kept our old fridge in the living rom and they put cardboard on the floor to make sure it did not get damaged. Also whenever they left at the end of day they made sure things were left clean and tidy. Wei, one of the owners and the one that gave us the original estimate, visited frequently to see check that everything was going okay. He was also very prompt in responding to SMS and called back promptly to answer questions and discuss dates for next phase etc.

I am a handy man with a very good eye for details; HB did everything to my satisfaction (that says a lot). For the countertop, we had picked veined Quartz. I wanted the veins to appear in a particular way for backsplash and the waterfall. HB worked with me on this and I even went with them to the Quartz warehouse to layout the slab cuts with blue tape so that veins were to my satisfaction; in one place there was a misunderstanding in our communication and HB took care of that by ordering a new slab. Wei said, “ I do not want you to compromise on the design - it would keep bugging you down the road as you use the kitchen.”

Every thing was timely. Some minor delays because of tile delivery, or Miele’s appliance installation, but HB worked with us around these schedules.. While I don’t foresee any problems, but if they do arise, I am confident that HB and Wei will standby their work. I felt their prices were competitive and reasonable.

PS. I can’t resist giving feedback on our Miele appliances. Don’t get sucked into Miele’s marketing. Their dishwashers are not the best (smaller than US/Japanese brands so fitting large sauce pans is a problem); also it does not clean as well as my previous Kenmore, so trust the Consumer reports ratingsMiele’s refrigerator is excellent but other appliances are good to very-good. Miele’s look/aesthetics is fabulous,. In hindsight, Would get a different brand of dishwasher for sure and perhaps even a different gas cooktop.

In conclusion, my experience with HB Kitchens was great - they are very professional and their workmanship is excellent. Highly recommend them!

UPDATE: It's been two years since our remodel, and everything still looks great. Aidan is still responding to our texts and had his workers come by this morning to follow up on something. You can tell the workers really take pride in their craft. Still can't recommend HB highly enough!

We had the pleasure of working with Aidan on a project in 2023. We interviewed over 10 contractors for our whole home remodel. While HB's bid price was in the middle of the pack, we felt most drawn to Aidan's responsiveness and attention to detail. We felt he was very knowledgeable and had a knack of explaining things in ways which we could clearly understand. He worked within our budget and was very accommodating to our requests (even last minute ones). His team was very professional, showed up when they said they would, and the job was completed on time. There were a few hiccups along the way, like when the team mistakenly installed our sun tunnels in the wrong places, or when there was miscommunication on wall placements and measurements, but Aidan always went the extra mile to make sure to resolve the issues to the point where we were completely satisfied. We've now been enjoying our beautiful home for almost a year. We would highly recommend Aidan and HB!

From the past 2 years, Wei and his crew have become a family to us. Extremely professional and delightful people. He understands customer empathy to the fullest. Recently, we had to replace our vanity lights in one of our bathrooms. Made a call, he got the crew scheduled and replaced it WITH NO CHARGE. I offered money but he said "Pappa, no charge for you." Please keep in mind that no contractor would do it for free after 1 year of house remodeling. This is the additional quality of Wei. Its not a fire and forget relationship.
