We had a lot of projects done with A to Z. We did floors which turned out beautiful. We also had two bathrooms remodeled and they are just elegant and went beyond our expectations. A - Z did a full remodel of my kitchen, primary bedroom bathroom and all 9 double pane window replacements in 2021 and new flooring and interior painting for my entire 1400 square foot condo in 2023. The work involved reconfiguring electrical and plumbing. The service, timeliness, quality and respect I received from them was impeccable. My, basically, new home, was completed to perfection. Aldo and his team helped me with design, color and fixture selection and directed me to vendors who carry quality materials at great prices. A-Z performed all their work quickly and with high quality standards. I can look closely at floor boards, painting, cabinet and fixture installation, granite countertops placement and it’s all done perfectly. We have been working with HB (Wei) for many years, initially started with 2 beautiful bathroom remodels 9 years ago.

Over the years I've used them for other projects such as adding canned lights in the whole house, converting our old pergola to a patio cover with skylights/gutters, and most recently full exterior painting. Due to our HOA requirements they needed samples of the paint colors so Wei made sure that was done and delivered to our door for the HOA panel to review. His crew did an awesome job of prepping, painting, and didn't cut corners. They were also always on time and kept the site clean.

I honestly don't think there is anything they won't do, I also recently had a bad plumbing leak in the wall and he sent someone over and repaired it, funny his worker recognized me from my patio project over 7 years ago. I found that he still has the same crew, that speaks volumes that Wei is able to retain them although I'm not really surprised since he likely treats his workers the same as he's always treated us with honesty and respect. Please don't hesitate to reach out to them if you have any project large or small.

Richard and his team were awesome! They were very professional and expert in their work. They do their work with precision, use the proper tools to do the job, work efficiently and cost-effective, clean and leave the site orderly and neatly as soon as the job is done.
Christine, Jazmine and fellow associates were friendly, accommodating, polite and very helpful. They were able to help us even after a year to buy supplies for the next project.

Updated 2/15/2022: HB Home Decor remodeled my kitchen and half bath last spring. They did such a wonderful job that I decided to have them remodel my master bath and hallway bath this fall. Again, they did a fantastic job! Aidan was my project manager again. He was super friendly and easy to talk to. He always kept me updated on the progress of the remodeling. He goes above and beyond to make sure that the project met my expectation. Christine was my designer. She was so professional and knowledgeable. She helped me choose tiles and shower panels that I would never have considered without her help. I love the combinations of colors and styles that she recommended. I love my new kitchen! HB Home Decor recently remodeled my kitchen and half bath. The result is beautiful! My project manager was Aidan. I absolutely love working with Aidan! Aidan was very easy to talk to and very responsive. What I appreciated most about Aidan is that he kept me updated throughout the project, which made me feel less anxious during the remodeling.
I would also like to mention Christine. She was my designer. Christine was so wonderful to work with. I appreciated her honesty and professionalism. She helped me choose the cabinets, tiles, and countertops without being pushy. Even though we had some issues like the tiles didn’t arrive on time or the countertops broke (vendor‘s fault not HB Home), Aidan and Christine did everything they could to make the experience go as smoothly as possible. Between the two of them, somehow they helped make my kitchen bigger than before the remodeling even though we didn’t change the layout. That’s how good Aidan and Chistine are at their jobs! Very happy customer of a brand new kitchen. We had a very old kitchen that needed an overhaul and After looking at different contractors, we decided to go with HB kitchen because Wei, the owner, made us more comfortable. He made us feel that we are not being pushed or rush on our decisions and he is very knowledgable about everything that wanted in a kitchen. We worked with Wei, with efficiency and most importantly cost, to make sure that we stay within our budget. We had an entire renovation in our house recently. We are very pleased with Alice Cabinetry's cabinets. AC is a relatively new and fine brand. We have received exceptional high quality and stylish cabinets. We highly recommend this brand if you are looking for cabinets for your home.

We will give HB Kitchen Bath 6 stars if it is possible. We need to remodel the kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. From very beginning to project completion, we had a wonderful experience with this team.

1. On Budget and On Time. The initial quote was received about one year ago, and it is very accurate compare with the actual expenses. Project was also completed on time with no dragging. These are all achieved during this pandemic time when lead time is long and price is increasing. HB has its own cabinet company and warehouse. That could be the reason for such efficiency.

2. Effective Communication. They understand our needs very well. Getting our ideas across is very easy. We had a picture in our mind about the final outcome, and it comes out better than we thought.

3. High Quality Finish. All works were done professionally with high quality. Never once we have to ask them to redo the work.

4. First Time Pass City Inspection. HB is very on top of the regulation and familiar with building codes. City Inspection was passed smoothly. Getting an inspection appointment with City of San Jose sometimes can be one month away. Each failed city inspection could have huge time cost.

5. Very Custom Focused. Details can tell how much they care. We have some furniture inside the house which creates more workload. They never complained and all furniture were well preserved during the project. The whole house is very clean afterwards. They also installed a water pan underneath the washer to prevent occasional water leakage without we asking for it. My wife has some extra requirement after the project was done. HD made all the changes accordingly.

No doubt HB is a well-managed, professionally run company. We highly recommend for your construction needs.

We were referred to HBKB by a friend who had seen their work at other homes and we’ve seen their cars around Union City and Hayward so knew that they were familiar with Hayward/Union City permitting process.

We did a full kitchen remodel including with a wall demolition, requiring city permits and architectural design, cabinet design, new flooring, new electrical and new doors. This was a massive project that spanned many months (thanks Hayward for the slow permit approval process…) and was spearheaded by Aidan and Christine.

Aidan was a fantastic PM managing our project with wonderful coordination between the electricians, painters, cabinet design, literally everything. He is quick to action and easy to communicate with, always driving over to talk through problems, explaining why things are done a certain way and communicating back to Christine as needed in the HQ office.

Christine did our cabinet design and gave wonderful, highly useful inputs into our design ideas from placement, sizing, the nice extras (pull out spice drawers!), Quartz countertop opinions, etc. Honestly, she was a great sounding board and easy to work with. She was patient as we worked through design ideas and modified her drawings accordingly.

The team at HBKB are very good at their job, and know exactly what they’re doing. Every project team that came in truly were experts in their craft and were quick and efficient. We are SO in love with our kitchen and happy to enjoy our newly redesigned forever home.

This place is great! We had some carpet changes and also installing new faucet for the kitchen. They were able to do both drops really well with reasonable price. On top of that they make sure everything is high-quality that they do. They drive to my house to check with me on the carpet material and came back when I wasn’t sure why the garbage disposal wasn’t working (it was just some switch is off) highly recommend it!
