I had an excellent experience with Dr. Carpet in Irvine! Rich did an amazing job cleaning the carpets in our home. He was professional, friendly, and thorough, and he was able to remove a few stubborn pet stains from our living room area that I thought would never come out. The carpets look and smell fresh, and the whole process was easy and stress-free. I highly recommend Dr. Carpet, and I will definitely use their services again!

Excellent housekeeping service. The room was spotless, fresh, and very well organized. You can tell that a lot of attention was paid to every detail — from clean floors to perfectly arranged bedding.

The team did a great job making the space feel comfortable and welcoming. Everything smelled clean without being overwhelming, which I really appreciated.

THEY NEVER SHOWED UP, called a week ahead and they took my credit card info, but never ever showed up which makes me so mad because I took off work to work with the day they were available and they never showed up so I missed out on work for no reason , I also seen other reviews that they didn’t show up, seems like they wake up and don’t feel like moving so they just cancel

I just tried this service last week, after months of trying to find a decent service at a fair value. Lourdes and Maria at OC Maids are *treasures*! I was really trying to lower my expectations so I’m not once again disappointed and ending up feeling like it’s somehow my fault, that I have standards that are too high... (It's most likely my OCD self that makes it hard to find excellence in most professions...)

Both Lourdes and Maria did what I was hoping was possible but have not been able to find: cleaned my house the way *I* would have cleaned my house!

I needed a DEEP cleaning: you know, furniture moved, vacuum & mop underneath beds and stuff, baseboards and wood panelling wiped clean, blinds and windows made to sparkle again, my gazillion knick-knacks on my bookcase picked up one by one, cleaned and then put back in their place, refrigerator cleaned, the works... I told Lourdes & Maria everything and not only did they get it all done BEAUTIFULLY, they upped the ante by having brought their own ladder and climbing up (without my having asked!) and thoroughly cleaning my ceiling fan!

Cost: $30/hr per person, so $60/hr for both Lourdes & Maria. They worked non-stop, no breaks that I saw (even though I offered that they take one and offered to get them lunch, they declined...). Considering a) the QUALITY of the work, b) that they deserve to make a decent living, c) that whoever runs this biz is killing it and also deserves to make decent living, I thought it THE BEST VALUE IN HOUSE CLEANING I'VE EVER GOTTEN (and I'm 51 years old). I don't have money to burn either. Here's the kicker: When I was writing the check and we were talking about "OK, you were here that many hours, blah blah blah so that makes it this much without your tip" Maria chimes in and says "oh, you don't need to tip us, don't worry about that..." SERIOUSLY?! *Who* is ever that sweet and not greedy and gracious anymore? Just because Maria said that I tipped them 20% instead of the 15% I was planning to tip originally :-) Awesomeness needs to be rewarded in our world.

Not on time. Very slow work. Poor communication skills. Did not listen to my specific instructions. Left a lot of areas untouched/uncleaned. Quite disappointing. I ended up cleaning up majority of the work myself again because I did not want to pay them any further because of their poor work. Price is good but the quality not at all. I do not recommend this company.

Was originally happy with them but can never get the same maids. Also, requested service and they had always sent 2 cleaners. This time they sent 3 without confirming with me (I was at work when they arrived), thus upping the price per hour. When I emailed them asking why there was no communication they never responded to me. Poor customer service.

Do not ever hire these guys. After the first phone call and taking your money they will never call you, email you or text you back. They do not show up on time. Their crew is very unprofessional, rude, will want to talk to you the whole time rather than work. They will leave the place still dirty. They do not care to fix their mistakes. Customer service does not exist after the introductory phone call. Currently considering taking them to small claims court because still waiting on the refund of 300$ worth of service they never did

There's a reason this company is poorly rated. You might have a good experience in the beginning like I did but after some time it becomes more of a nightmare. Gustavo is so mean that I really didn't even want to support his business. He lashes out at his clients and tells them not to blame him when he promises one thing and then doesn't deliver.

The bad things started out pretty small like noticing the floors weren't mopped properly, to having to hire a locksmith because the key went missing, to having no cleaning crew on the day a guest is supposed to check in. I was clear that my home was getting fumigated and asked if they would clean after the fumigation. They agreed and then later said it was unsafe after I sent them a conversation I had with my fumigation team that the air was tested for safety and that it's completely safe.

If Gustavo was at least professional and accepted blame for his miscommunication, I might still work with him. He's stubborn and quite rude. There's better people to work with who won't cause you to be this upset every time you have to have a conversation with them.

Let me first start by saying the two cleaners who came to my home were very nice and I have nothing poor to say about them as people. However, to review them as maids, they were not very good. My house needed just the standard cleaning (dust, mop, vacuum, wipe down, windows) and I was left pretty underwhelmed by their service. This was the first time I used OC Maids and I was under the impression that at $100 an hour for 2 people, they were a professional service, but seems more like they just came and did a quick pass because they knew they were going to get paid.

1. 3 hours late to my appointment, scheduled at 1 PM, didn't come and start till 4 PM.
2. No uniform
3. Wore their outside shoes in my house while cleaning (no booties)
4. Used general cleaning supplies, not commercial grade. I had to give them some of my own supplies as well
5. Did not mop my floors (used a Swiffer jet mop)
6. Not very observant - missed a lot of areas, I had to go back with blue tape to show them and they still missed similar areas in other parts of the house

This may have been a missed opportunity, but I will not be using them again. I could have done a better job cleaning it myself in the same amount of time they took.

My wife and I have never used a cleaning service before but wanted to give it a try due to a busy season of life and a decent amount of friends coming to stay with us. OC Maids was incredibly easy to work with. Scheduling an appointment was swift. The two ladies who came to clean were SO nice. Quality of cleaning was an easy 10/10. I will absolutely recommend OC Maids to anyone looking for a cleaning service.
