We hired Cavalry Cleaning for a post-construction cleaning at our new home in San Diego and were really happy with the results. The place had the usual construction dust and debris — windows, floors, cabinets — and their team took care of everything. They handled drywall dust removal, cleaned the new fixtures, scrubbed the floors, and got the windows looking great inside and out.

They clearly know what they’re doing when it comes to post-construction cleaning. The crew was professional, organized, and efficient. We had to reschedule a couple of times and the process was straightforward and flexible, which we appreciated.

I hired Cavalry Cleaning for a post-construction clean at my home in Carlsbad, and they did an outstanding job. After months of renovation, there was dust and debris everywhere. Their team came in and made the whole place spotless.

They are experienced with construction dust removal, and they knew how to clean newly installed finishes. They deep cleaned every surface and got into the hard-to-reach spots. You could tell this wasn’t their first time doing post-construction cleaning in North County San Diego.

They showed up on time, communicated clearly, and were extremely professional throughout the process. If you’re looking for a reliable company that specializes in residential post-construction cleaning, I highly recommend Cavalry Cleaning.

We booked CC after seeing a Reddit comment from the owner, Connor, on a post requesting post-construction cleanings for new builds. After seeing 50+ five star reviews we were willing to pay for a complete deep clean prior to moving in. Connor was helpful when scheduling and very nice regarding moving man hours around/tailoring the clean to what was needed.

However, 1/3 of the cleaning crew showed up 1 1/2 hours AFTER start time (mind you, you are billed per person, per hour) and after the cleaning crew had left and I was able to actually see our house - nothing had changed outside of the cabinets being dusted. Floors were not mopped at all, piles of dirt were still on countertops and in sinks, mud was caked in the window sills. It truly felt like all they did was spend hours using a microfiber cloth on dust. Based on the reviews with sparkling floors and diligent cleans, we were very disappointed.

After reaching out, Connor offered to remedy the situation by having the cleaning crew come back out, but due to us still finishing construction and their busy schedule, we were unable to find time to get the cleaners back. As a compromise, we asked for a refund instead. After back and forth for days, we were refunded 25% out of our payment for very little cleaning done.

I wish I could recommend Calvary Clean, and I hope that our experience was a fluke as we do love to support small businesses in SD. But if you are a residential client/home owner with a smaller home looking for a post-construction clean and not a large corp - I’d say look elsewhere as I believe they put most of their effort and man power into those clients.

Edit: after this review we did receive our full refund. As mentioned, Connor provided great customer service and attempted to remedy the situation. However, that does not change the experience of the clean and service itself.

I had a wonderful experience with Brightview Cleaning. Janet was very sweet and professional. She made our showers look like new and even told me little tips to help with cleaning around the house. She even told me things to watch out for. I will continue to use Brightview and I really liked Janet. I also believe that I was given a very reasonable price.

We have used Brightview twice now. They are communicative and responsive and have done an exceptional job cleaning! Tracee in particular did our last cleaning, and the house is SPOTLESS. I also appreciate their policy on making things right, someone had come to clean and left a few things undone and they immediately sent someone out to fix it and do it again. Very happy with our decision to have them clean monthly for us!
