I found KBF Remodeling Design on the internet while I was looking for a contractor to remodel my kitchen and possible some other work. KBF was near my house and the website indicated they specialized in what I needed. I met with the owner, gave him a list of what I wanted done and he gave me some good advice on what to do and what not to do. He worked up a quote and I decided to go with him based upon his advice, his level of detail and his professionalism. He seemed like a straight shooter and an honest person who took pride in their work. I couldn't have made a better decision.
We took the kitchen down to four walls and went with all new construction. We did flooring in the entry way, bathrooms downstairs and laundry room. We added vanities for the bathrooms, new toilets, cabinets for the bar and all new countertops. I asked up front if the work could be completed in 4 weeks since we were approaching the holidays. I was told 4-5 weeks, and everything was done and done right within the timeframe. The owner stayed involved and checked in with us regularly. My wife and I liked all of the different specialists who did a fantastic job. We added family room flooring, complete redo of the bar, new stone on the fireplace and much more.
Early this year we sat down and worked out a contract for phase 2 which included a lot of work on the upstairs and living room. We couldn't be more pleased. All of our friends have given us compliments and several have now hired KBF for work in their homes.
If we ever need a contractor we know where to go as KBF does a lot more than Kitchens, Baths and Flooring!

KBF Remodeling Design has remodeled the vast majority of our home. We were very happy with our experience when we first used them for a small bathroom project when moving into our home in 2017. When we decided to do two subsequent massive renovations (2021 and 2025), there was no doubt that we would use them again.

Aside from the quality materials that they use, we found great value in the design guidance. The construction team is skilled and courteous, and included individuals who have been with the company for a long period of time as evidenced by their presence during all three phases of our project over 8 years. The owner is hands-on and involved in every step of the project, including frequent stops at the project site. He is HIGHLY responsive via all forms of communication (phone, text, and email) throughout the project.

I also appreciated the fact that the final invoice was always consistent with the estimate that was quoted at the start of the project (aside from additional changes that were mutually agreed upon as the project progressed). In the rare circumstances when things didn't go according to plan (which was bound to happen at some point when remodeling a 6 bedroom home), they took full accountability and did what was needed to make things right. Without a doubt, they go above and beyond to ensure that clients are satisfied.

I have been working with Bailey for the past fifteen years. I moved from Northern California in 2010 and bought a house that needed significant renovation. After interviewing numerous contractors, both big and small, I chose Bailey because we just seemed to connect, and it turned out to be the right decision! Over the years, Bailey replaced all the flooring, refurbished three bathrooms, and completely remodeled the kitchen in the original house. We used KBF for two separate projects about a year apart. First they put in a new master bathroom cabinet with a beautiful custom-made mirror with lighting. This past month they took out all the carpet upstairs and put in laminate flooring.

He and his crews do their work to make the job as minimally intrusive on the customer as possible. The floor they put in upstairs was done very well. They took great care to make sure all the joints were right and everything lined up perfectly. They paid attention to all the details. Their crew was very hard-working and highly skilled.

They moved the furniture very carefully, put tarps over everything, and put the furniture back where it was when the job was done. They were very careful, didn't damage one thing, and put everything back just where is belonged. My wife and I had to do far less that we thought we were going to do.

He even replaced our old can lights with new LEDs at no charge, and installed more in other rooms at his cost because we loved them. Bailey's crew, who handled our kitchen backsplash and custom cabinets, worked seamlessly. They were like family, adhering to COVID rules, consistently cleaning up, and making our lives as least intrusive as possible. Their talent is exceptional; I never worried. After 20 + years my wife and I decided we were overdue for a kitchen remodel. Not in a huge rush, we took our time and spoke to numerous kitchen remodeling companies & contractors. We wanted to relocate the kitchen sink, which involves some plumbing re-routing. Some companies wanted no part of a sink relocation. Many remodelers focused on a quick turn around, other more focused on the "best price". Both very important, but our main focus was hoping to find a company that could focus on a quality remodel with a keen attention to detail, reasonable priced in a timely manner. A tough request, we started to think we were chasing a "unicorn", until we were driving on Cabot Road in Laguna Hills and saw an office "KBF Remodeling", I had previously read about KBF and decided to stop there. As we entered, Bailey (the owner) greeted us with a non pushy approach. We explained what we were looking for and he took an hour to explain what he could offer. We departed with a good feeling and returned a few days later with a list of questions, Bailey answered everything with specific detail. He later, upon request came to our home and spent 2 hours answering specific questions and giving us some recommendations. Shortly after his departure, we called and requested a quote. I would actually like to give 10 stars. this company is unbelievably amazing. we are more than thrilled with our total kitchen remodel as well as our bathroom. there are so many things we are happy with. The overall remodel is just beautiful. The owner, Bailey, guided us just perfectly. not only was our project done in record time(2 weeks)!!! but Bailey runs a well oiled machine and all of his staff are amazing. We were more than comfortable leaving our home during the day while the employees of the company were working and we even have dogs. Bailey would email us every couple of days to give us a rundown of what was completed and what the next few days would look like in terms of work being done. Every step of the way things were completed just wonderfully. Also, each day the staff were meticulous about cleaning up. prior to our remodel starting our water heater went out and my husband called Bailey just on the off chance that he could help us get the water heater fixed prior to the remodel which he did. Bailey is a very trustworthy person and will be a forever friend after this remodel. i’m very honest in all of my reviews and we could not be more happy with the service of KBF remodeling.
