Manny and Armando ROCK! They came to deal with water damage from a leaking pipe within my bathroom wall. They were on time, very nice and did an amazing job. I thought the job would take all, day. It didn't. They were finished within hours. Manny explained all steps involved in removing the damaged dry wall, using fans to dry out the area and the approximate time needed to dry the area. In addition, they built a barrier to keep the heat in the area to expedite drying. Quite clever! I had never seen that before.

For the last 3 days I have had ServiceFirst Restoration company working diligently in my apartment in Laguna Woods. Both bathrooms were damaged in 2 different water leaks from the apartment above me.
The lead man on this restoration team was Carlos Hernandez and he was extremely impressive in all the skills necessary to complete the job. He was always concerned with my welfare and comfort as he moved forward in completing the renovation of my 2 bathrooms. He was always on time and would even call to alert me if he needed to stop at Home Depot for materials if he was going to be a bit later. I appreciated that after spending hours working he would always make certain everything was cleaned up before he left at night. I would not hesitate to recommend ServiceFirst especially, if Carlos was overseeing the project.

Although my ceiling had flooding damage, Service First made the whole experience easy and simple. From the moment they arrived they were professional, friendly and explained exactly what they were doing. Without such quick and effective help, I know if would not be feeling the same about my predicament.

I just had a drywall repair done by Carlos and Juan from ServiceFirst, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The quality of work and attention to detail were beyond what I had expected. From start to finish, Carlos was incredibly professional and efficient. He began the prep work promptly and handled the job with care and precision.

What really impressed me was the thorough clean-up afterward. Carlos removed trash and used plastic coverings to protect the area, swept the entire living room, and even got down on his knees to mop the floor — leaving the space spotless. His work ethic and pride in what he does truly stand out.

Manny and Armando are so efficient and polite. They made sure that our ceiling and walls are dried completely.

The technician was very prompt and diligent but the quality of the work was marginal - drywall that wasn't damaged was scuffed and chipped, the baseboard was removed and not replaced, and there was confusion between the office and the technician and the office as to how much drywall needed to be removed.

Arrived on time. Removed drywall after water leak sprayed disinfectant. Did a good job with prep and clean up. Good to deal with; answered questions.

Terrible service! It's taken months to get my install completed. The first tub was broken, the second tub had the wrong drain after they carried it all the way upstairs through my house.

The workers showed up, laid some plastic down then dipped out to Home Depot for 2 hours before they discovered the wrong tub.

Now I can't reach my coordinator Jason. Already wasted 3 vacation days dealing with this nonsense. Planning on filing with BBB as well. I'm not sure the employees they had in my house were licensed or even part of their company.

Had a water damage and it happened over the Thanksgiving holiday. Between asbestos and insurance we had some delays but the team made evey effort to come out and address the issue. Danny, Armando, and Brendan came out to do the demo and did a great job setting up the containment.

Arturo is an excellent taper did a great job with tape and texture. Meanwhile Ricardo took care of the baseboard and crown molding did a great job 5 stars.

Alex A. did an excellent job of replacing a portion of our bathroom ceiling following water damage. He was organized, efficient, skilled, conscientious and thorough in preparing the area (all the way from the front door) and then cleaning up when finished. He was, as well, personable and respectful. The entire process, from leak mitigation to completion was handled by all ServiceFirst personnel in a professional manner. Communication was clear throughout. Every team member knew their job and did it well. We especially appreciated the orderliness and neatness of their work. Rafael Martinez did a good job and was respectful of the residents. He was communicative and helped us deal with an inspector too.

Chris and Arturo were both professional and friendly while repairing my damaged walls fire to a roof leak. They also cleaned up very well after they made the necessary repairs. I will use ServiceFirst Restoration for future repairs to my home. I highly recommend them.

Water leaks and damages are the worst thing that can happen to a residence. A single source can be devastating as the moisture can travel and be soaked up by the drywall in places you would never have expected. Black mold is so bad and probably my worst fears in home ownership. That is what happened to our home after our water heater leaked.

The leak must have been happening for a while and unfortunately it travelled back into the house, under the vinyl flooring and all the way to the other end of the home. We were confused by the symptoms since the water travelled so far, and we already did a lot of preventative measures like repiping our lines 3 years ago. We initially called our repiping crew and was told that we should first confirm with a plumber/leak specialist. After discovering the root cause of our issue, we knew the next step was proper remediation followed by reconstruction.

Most organizations specialize in one discipline like remediation or reconstruction but luckily for us, ServiceFirst Restoration was able to offer both. I am pretty sure with that efficiency alone, we were able to cut down on the overall time of the project and have our home restored in time for Christmas. In the event that we needed other specialists (like moving our built-in fridge temporarily), they always had contacts of vetted/trusted organizations that we were able to leverage.

From start to finish, the project lasted about 2 weeks; 5 days for initial assessment, quote, demolition and drying and then about 4 days for the rebuild. We were assigned the same coordinator, Evelyn, for both aspects of the project which made it extremely convenient. She is very efficient, responsive via texts, email and phone and helped facilitate billing via email and online.

Ivan did the drywall and Arturo did the paint. Both technicians did a superb job. They went over & above what usually happens. There was no mess and the resulting work was just beautiful. I'll definitely call ServiceFirst when I need more help.
