Tech did an excellent job. He made sure before he left that parts he installed were not leaking. I felt that we were charged a fair price.

Well we had to call Plumber Duck back out on Oct 10th. for another problem. this time it as for a really nasty clog in our kitchen sink everything was backing up. Once again Plumber Duck was very professional, friendly, and very helpful. It took them a couple of hours but the clog finally broke free and everything was running and draining great. We are so happy with the work they did. Like I said they are every knowledgeable in the type of work they come out to do.

Very responsive. Answers, calls back, etc. But never told us the price of a house call ever. Never quoted any kind of pricing. Came and told us that the faucet hose needed to be replaced and left. Charged $230 for just being here for less than 15 minutes. The bill showed no explanation. I asked for an itemized bill and the recap is exactly what I’ve typed here. They fixed nothing. We were in the same situation, but 2 bills poorer. Do not recommend.

5 out of 5 all day long! Its hard to find great vendors these days and the communication is top notch! Charles and his crew were very thorough with the job and completely fair pricing. Highly recommend!

Great customer service, don't force their tech to come out to give you a proper and accurate quote. Was quick, very polite, and great pricing. Charged less than other for the same job and wasn't requiring them to visit the home for an estimate. Most places charge 80+ just to pull up and quote you (what they can easily do over the phone). 10/10 service and company. Greatly recommend.

Repiped the whole house and replaced the water heater. Plumber Duck is professional, affordable and extremely knowledgeable. Had no issues answering million questions. If you have any Plumbing needs give them a call.

Very pleased with fast scheduling, timely response and knowledgeable to find the problem and complete repair and cleanup. Have used them on previous plumbing problems and will continue to use them for any future work, highly recommended.

I rarely give five stars, but holy cow does Charles and Plumber Duck deserve it! They are super-quick to reply to contact requests, before *and* after the service was performed. The entire PD team thoroughly explained our problem, the planned repair, and continued to diagnose additional problems. When the "additional problem" looked like a complete main water line replacement, rather than just quoting us $$$$$, Charles kept troubleshooting and determined that it was really a hidden $0.50 problem on the city side of the water line. Plumber Duck *really* cares about their customers!!

Here is my concern. The technician arrived promptly, inspected the boiler, and provided a very detailed assessment in a short amount of time. We received approval to have a brand-new boiler installed, but this is where things took a turn.

I requested a detailed summary of all out-of-pocket charges, and that information was never provided. The repair was initially scheduled for a Monday, but the technician called out. The appointment was rescheduled for the following day, and a new technician was sent. Unfortunately, the new technician suggested there may have been tampering because the original technician had not entered any notes into the system.

Once everything was cleared up, the boiler was installed properly the following day. However, due to the unexpected delays and lack of clarity regarding charges, I cannot give this company a positive review.

Prompt service

We had a major gas leak in the pipes leading to our water heater and we’re tagged off by SoCal Gas Friday night. We called McDermott Plumbing late Saturday morning and were informed that they could come by in the late afternoon. Sure enough Nick our serviceman sent us a message when he was on his way. Nick had everything he needed for the repair in his truck and was done in about 20 minutes. He informed us our water heater was really old & we should consider a replacement. The next morning we still did not have hot water. So I sent Nick a message not realizing it was Super Bowl Sunday. I got an automatic reply saying they were closed but shortly after got a call from Nick. He said he could come by again to try to re-light our water heater pilot. Nick came by on his way to a party with his family. This type of customer service is unseen. Nick truly proved himself to be a dedicated and dependable employee. We have saved McDermott Plumbing in our contacts and will definitely use them when we replace our water heater. 10/10 DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!
