His attention to detail and dedication to quality are unmatched. He's reliable, skilled, and always makes sure the job is done right. I highly recommend Ron for any construction project!

We hired in the past Lio James Construction Inc for foundation and framing work on two homes—one in Sherman Oaks (3,700 sq ft) and another in Woodland Hills (4,000 sq ft)—and we couldn't be more satisfied with the results!
From the outset, Ron, our contractor, was professional and knowledgeable.
The foundation work was completed on schedule, and the framing turned out perfectly. Ron's attention to detail truly set them apart; he made sure everything was done to the highest standards, which has given us confidence in the overall integrity of both homes. Communication was excellent throughout the project, and any questions we had were answered promptly. The team was respectful of the property, keeping the work area clean and organized, which we greatly appreciated.

Always crowded, not enough people tp help, and not enough material on the shelves

Just got a Christmas tree that was $$$ and asked for the bottom to be prepped to put in the stand. Asked them to cut off the lower branches and they said they would. Just got it home and the bottom was not trimmed or even touched. The base of the trunk is uneven and the tree won’t stand straight. The branches at the bottom made it nearly impossible to put it in the stand until I fought it with a pair of kitchen scissors. Incredibly disappointed to pay such a high price for terrible service. Will be making sure my neighbors do not get their trees here this year.

We recently completed two bathrooms with Home Front Build, a guest bathroom and a bathroom shared by our three daughters.
Originally the cost of the remodel was a big deterrent. It’s hard to believe the cost is so high these days. With that said, we finally decided to take the plunge and the biggest reason was probably our pleasurable experience working thus far with Goli. She has a wonderful, cheerful attitude and she knows her stuff.

A big plus for the whole company was their attention to detail. Both Goli and Adriana were exceptional to work with. While some of their sub contractors were less than stellar, they made sure to correct any mistakes until we were happy. Working with a reputable company ensured that the work was done in a timely manner. I appreciate that both Goli and Adriana seemed to genuinely care about our project and wanted the best outcome possible.

I worked with Home Front on project involving a major kitchen and master bath remodel in my 90-year old Spanish style home. The quality of the existing construction was top notch, and I wanted to maintain that standard, as well as to maintain certain existing features within the context of the update/remodel. My project was interrupted, right before the intended start date, by the advent of the pandemic. During that 2-year delay period, as I rethought certain aspects of the original design, the Home Front team was patient, respectful of, and creative in addressing my evolving thoughts and wishes.

Because I was planning to - and did - live in the house throughout the remodel, it was critical to me that schedules be adhered to, deadlines honored, and spaces kept clean. I was fully satisfied in all these regards.

One of the things that makes Home Front unique, and one of the main reasons I chose them, is the fact that they assign an onsite foreman to their projects to manage the daily work flow, coordinate subcontractors, etc. This was a critical element not only in obtaining permits and meeting deadlines, but also in making the whole process as low stress as possible. There was always one expert person I could go to with questions and concerns, who also was responsible for ensuring daily clean up, lock-up, addressing punch-list items, etc.

Home Front stands by the quality of their work and that of their various subcontractors. I never had a punch list item questioned, and even months after project completion was able to request small “tweaks” and fixes. The quality of workmanship and the level of both professionalism and courtesy were exactly what I was looking for, and I am delighted with the results.

Home Front restored our Victorian house and its stone walls. They were able to use historic salvage lumber to rebuild our window sashes, they used original style paint in the original colors and applied it with a brush (so it looks completely original). They built a cleverly hidden modern foundation and were able to leave our historic stone foundation intact for visual purposes. They matched stucco and stone finishes inside and outside the house perfectly. Every person on the crew was a pleasure to work with and to have around. And they had creative ideas to implement what we proposed and stay on budget. I very highly recommend them.

Home Front Build's entire team provided excellent service and support throughout my remodeling project. The team members are all very professional, experienced and positive in their approach to the work.
During the course of my project, I most closely worked with two members of the team.
Design Director Goli Karimi was instrumental to the success of the remodel. She provided wonderful, creative guidance, balancing practical advice with fresh ideas and options for materials, finishes, current design concepts, etc. She is very knowledgeable and brings a wealth of experience to the table. She's also fun to work with!
The implementation of the project was also positive and smooth. Lynn Kolberg, the project manager, did an excellent job. Communication was open and professional. Her coordination was spot on and her work with all the construction professionals was excellent. She's a very good problem solver and also very resourceful.
The rest of the Home Front Build Team was also professional, knowledgeable, had excellent skills and produced high quality work.
This project was not something I planned on undertaking, but due to water damage had to dive in. Working with Home Front Build made the project positive and exciting. The Home Front Build Team works extremely well together, along with their clients, which is a true recipe for success.
I'm thrilled with the outcome and thank the entire team for all their hard work.

I have lived in a very unique, wooden, California craftsman home for the past 43 years. It is a great home with some wonderful, interesting history, but in need of a little care. Rebuilding an entire driveway portico and fence, refurbishing the front porch deck, replacing shingled siding etc, as well as a complete four color paint job.
I interviewed several builders for this project. Some were very cavalier and cheap “sure no problem!” Some were scared “wow, there’s lots of wood!!” but Steve and Sam got it immediately.

From top to bottom the whole team was fantastic. Steve and Sam understood and appreciated what the house was and what it needed, helping me make informed decisions throughout the whole project. Juan and the entire on site team were great. Showed up everyday and most importantly left the job site clean and tidy, very much appreciated and a sign of conscientious workmanship. On the operations side, Miguel and Anthony kept me updated on the costs, all paperwork etc. All a pleasure to work with.
I am so pleased to have found a terrific group of craftsmen and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Overall, we're very pleased with the high quality of service and level of professionalism provided by Home Front Build. We spent the last 2 years building out a ~300 sq ft addition to our home consisting of adding new foundation, plumbing, HVAC, and more. Home Front was always willing and flexible to make modifications along the way to the design or even add additional services (i.e. retaining wall, re-stucco the house). Goli did a stellar job at the design work for the project and her experience really shined as she was able to predict and navigate several situations that we would have not known any better to consider. Eduardo was our on-site general contractor and responsible for working with all the 3rd parties to get work done on time and ensure our expectations were met at the end of each segment. My only point of frustration has been that 90% of the project moved very quickly and progress has been made every single day, however, the last 10% of the project has taken months to finalize. While these items are small it can be a bit exhausting to keep tabs on the last final pieces and we're ready to start enjoying the work done and have the project complete. I highly recommend Home Front Build to anyone and know you will get a very high quality level or work, communication, and team!

We had a whole kitchen done by them 17 years ago. Very well designed. I revisited now to upgrade some of my appliances and other. Must see place!

Cooper Pacific Kitchen made our dreams come true!! We have not only a gorgeous kitchen, but also one that has been designed perfect for us. I had so much fun working with such a talented and hard working group. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is considering remodeling. Great attention to detail and the entire design team is wonderful to work with!
