American High Tech Roof Coatings Inc. has an excellent, informative YouTube video explaining the waterproof coating process. Javier, the owner, was easy to work with. His employees worked hard to get our commercial roof coated in the timeframe promised.

Xavier, the owner, is one if the most ethical, hard working contractors I have worked with in 30 years of developing real estate. He went above and beyond in insuring the roof was cleaned properly, seams waterproofed, primed and coated with high quality coating. No corners cut, even with weather delays. The coating qualified for the DWP rebate as well. I highly recommend American High Tech Roof Coatings and have done so to all my colleagues looking for a roof coating contractor.

I am the president of our HOA for our 8 townhouse building in Santa Monica. We had a history of leaks in the building and it was time to do something about it. We considered replacing the roof entirely but it was just too expensive! So I looked into doing a silicone coating instead. I received a total of 3 quotes. One was very low but the contractor didn't inspire trust and the silicone product he was going to use had bad reviews, the second quote was almost as expensive as putting on a new roof! And the 3rd quote was the one from Javier of America High Tech Roof Coating and it was very reasonable. Javier was very knowledgeable, he was courteous, polite and patient. We scheduled the job and his team showed up on time. I went up on the roof several times while they were working and I could see how thorough they were. If I remember correctly, they first applied one coat of adhesive and then 2 coats of silicone. When they were done, I was very impressed with the quality of the job! We've had a few heavy rains since the job was done and we've had no leaks!

As President of my HOA’s older building in Long Beach, I was concerned about getting good roof protection without having to tear off the current roof and incur the expense of possibly having to replace wood structure as well. After extensive research, my HOA board decided to go with a silicon roof. We wanted someone who was experienced with this application and could offer their services at a reasonable price. We got bids from a couple different roofers and decided to go with Javier at American High Tech Roofing. What a great decision it was. Javier is an excellent communicator and is a man of his word. He did exactly what he said he would do and kept us informed all along the way. When he found a big rotted area in the existing composite and underlying wood, he replaced it at a very reasonable price and carried on. His work and clean-up are impeccable.

Javier and his team are great. A couple years ago our HOA voted to coat the roof of our building (a condominium built in the 1980’s with a history of terrible roof leaks). Since that silicon coating, our units stay warm and dry. We used to get 3-4 leaks all around our unit during the rainy season, but now we don’t need to worry about the heavy rains. We had a very minor leak just recently with the last downpour and Javier came back to patch it for free. He and his team are friendly and work quickly! Highly recommended!

There's not many roofing contractors that do flat roofs, let alone specialize in flat roofing. Javier and team are clearly very experienced and knows their trade well. From start to finish, the experience was smooth. They were here when they said they would be and the work was immaculate. They paid attention to all the smallest of details(especially since my previous roofer did not do a good job, Javier and team fixed all those!). All the edges and corners are super clean and professionally finished. My home is now so much cooler and I don't need to worry about leaks anymore. Price was very reasonable given that they use high quality materials and lots of it!

Marcos Santa Ana was the supervisor on a complete remodel of my home that I did in 2007. He is really smart, conscientious and thorough. Not only that, he is a pleasure to work with. I have used Alloi Architecture for several home repair/improvement projects and have always been impressed with the results. Marcos has put together a team of contractors who are honest, diligent, and do excellent work. Alloi helped repair my 1926 Spanish style home in West Adams, fixing water damage, installing a new faucet in my kitchen, re-grouting tile, patching and painting walls, and most recently flawlessly patching my original hardwood floor where a floor heater used to be. I honestly cannot tell where the patch was by looking at the floor! They did a beautiful job.

I work in an office on the Westside, and I can't be home every time I need work done on the house, but I have no qualms about letting Marcos and his contractors work on the house while I'm away.
