My experience with Powerfull solar was excellent. Working with Eitai and his team was easy and professional. They made sure to update my husband and I every step of the way. I did not know much about Solar before I met Eitai. He was able to answer all my questions and made sure I was supported all the way through the system activation was approved by Edison. I got a 200 amp main panel upgrade and a 6.8KW system installed. Overall great company with years of experience I highly recommend working with them! This was one of the smoothest home improvement projects we have done which speaks highly of their service!

Through out the solar construction, and after that, when we had to go through slow city and DWP approval, they were very helpful in every way. It was a genuine pleasure working with Eitai and Powerfull Solar. From the first meeting I could tell he knew what he was talking about, and committed to earning my business. I gathered a number of quotes from a variety of companies – “big box” types, smaller mom and pop outfits, everything in between -- and what I liked about Eitai from the get-go was that not only was he the person presenting the proposal, but he would be the project manager too. And going even further, his parents own the parent company (Powerfull Electric), so you can tell Eitai is heavily invested in the success of their solar offshoot. The pricing was also very competitive, and he was even willing to work with me on the price when I had some other similar offers.

They also use the best technology, which is an important consideration for something you want to last decades. All the quotes I got were using Enphase microinterverters, but a number were using older generation “cheaper” models. The ones Powerfull Solar uses are top of the line. So keep that in mind when evaluating your own quotes! Eitai doesn't cut corners on the tech, and yet he was still one of the lowest quotes I got, so I feel confident I got good value for the money.

He was also highly professional and an excellent communicator every step of the way, and really flexible with scheduling. He was able to work around my schedule seamlessly from initial inspection through install. My family and I were at Disneyland while he did the install in fact, with my father-in-law checking in, and he was impressed with the quality of the work. Nothing like getting pictures of your completed solar project while waiting in line for Small World. The whole install took less than a day!

He also knows how to work with the utility companies. My utility is LADWP, and let’s just say they made the process very… difficult. At one point the rep literally admitted to making up part of the electrical code, so needless to say the permission to operate portion after install was a headache. But Eitai was able to jump over their hoops, one by one (even though at one point he had to get a completely different rep that wasn’t such a pain), and we got the approval.

Once that happened, he even drove to my house on a Saturday to get the monitoring system fully commissioned so we could track our production from our phones.

So now I have a beautiful 7.2 kwh system (18 x QCell 400w panels, IQ8M microinterverters), taking advantage of all this sunlight we get. I haven’t received my first full utility bill yet since the install, but I can already tell based on production we will be zero’d out, so that’s a pretty good feeling. I still recommend getting multiple quotes for this project, but I think you will find -- Eitai is your guy!

The company offered competitive pricing for the same or similar equipment as their competitors and promised an expedited timeline, something that was very important to us. Eitai and his team were the most professional, organized, and efficient crew I have ever worked with for any home project. First, communication with Eitai throughout the whole process felt effortless. Second, not only did they follow through with everything they promised, but also made the extra effort to stay on top of communications when the utility was unresponsive, and facilitated resolution of an independent open permit that we discovered was holding up final permission to operate. In other words, Eitai was a stellar project manager. As for the crew on the day of install, they showed up on time, checked each others work throughout the install to ensure everything looked good, and were done in less than a full day. Two days after install we were hit by a series of big rainstorms, and there was not a single issue anywhere with the roof. I would very highly recommend this team for a smooth solar install or any electrical work.

As a final cherry on top, I had a good friend that committed to a contract with a large solar installer on the same day as I signed with Powerfull. I have now been generating my own electricity for a week, whereas my friend is navigating calls through a hierarchy of managers because they changed the original panel layout during installation without first asking for his approval. I couldn’t be more stoked that I trusted this team!
