Very dishonest & RIP offs **Stay Away** I would give this company a negative if I could!

I own a home in Madera, CA which is currently being rented out. I have a property management who handles all my maintenance calls, so I trusted there recommendation. They called on Brian's numerous occasions when the AC would not cool. The first time they came out they claimed they checked the whole A/C system for leaks & did not find any, okay $200 to recharge. then apx. 4 months later same thing happened guess what? again no leaks found another $200 to recharge. About a year ago I moved into the home the A/C system was not working (again), so I did a visual inspection myself (not an a/c guy), what I found was refrigerant oil leaking past the evaporator core fitting (same place where the refrigerant had been leaking from), simple fix tighten the fitting & call an A/C guy to come out & refill the system, problem fixed.

I used the A/C that whole year w/ no problems. I ran the A/C day & night (I'm from the bay area so the heat did not sit well with me) w/no issues. The house was vacant for 2 months. When the new tenants moved in within 60 day's the A/C stopped cooling, guess who my property management company called? That's right Brian's Heating & A/C. The guy came out found a bad dual run capacitor, he replaced the capacitor w/o my approval for $268 just for the part. I went down to home depot the following day & found dual run capacitors for $17.00 what a rip off, I was furious I called the phone number listed on the invoice & asked to speak to the owner. I explained the situation to him thoroughly & he gave me a sorry a$$ excuse for why their is such a difference between what they installed in my home & home depot's part "OH the quality of the sheet metal casing is thicker & it is much better quality w/a 5 year warranty", i doubt this dual run capacitor installed by an incompetent company is going to last 5 years, but anyway's no later then 35 days the A/C stopped working again it was on a Saturday. The management company once again called Brian's they came out & this time they said it was a condenser fan they replaced it w/an aftermarket fan to the tune of 636.00 dollars the motors sell for 150.00 at home depot they charged me $511.00 + service call. What the Hell. I Called my management company & told them to never use this company for my house again.

PS: The A/C unit is a LENNOX installed in 2007

I called Brian’s on a 104 degree day. They came out within 3 hours. Josh the tech was professional, clean, and fixed the problem right away. I was more than impressed with the speed of service, quality of work done, and even more I am sitting in a nice cool home on a very hot day. Thank you Brian’s Heating and cooling and Josh!!!!!

Their team was prompt and professional. My kids and I remained in the house while they were working and they were so quiet both of my little ones were able to nap. Brian even stopped by to ensure his team was doing a great job (and they were). A wonderful experience from beginning to end.

Used to be excellent, but sadly after the owner Brian stopped doing repairs himself it's just not the same, unqualified technicians show up instead, some not even having the courtesy of wearing a mask during a pandemic. The work doesn't get done correctly on the first time either. Having to call another company to come and fix what they did wrong.

First time I used Brian's Heating & Cooling. Technician Josh was on time, very nice and honest, charged us only a service call. We did not have a good air flow. He cleaned everything and put a new filter in. Well, it was time, I forgot. Thank you, I am glad nothing was terrible wrong.

I am now a regular of Brian's Heating and Cooling. I have my roof mounted a/c unit serviced twice a year, in the spring for the cooling and in the fall for the heating. I am always left a note about what they performed and what they recommend. They clean the unit each time and provide filter and thermostat support, also (if you need or want it).

Brian, himself, is a motivated young man with a courteous and patient approach. He values each of his customers. He now has a few people working for/with him and continues to be approachable if I should have any concern. All the workers I have dealt with have integrity and are honest and self-sufficient. I can trust they will do what needs to be done, even when I am not present when they come to work on the roof unit.

I highly recommend these folks. They are proactive and trustworthy.

I have used Brian's HVAC several times this past year from a complete A/C with duct work installed on a rental property to having to come behind another a/c company that did a poor job with a new a/c on our residence (I wasn't aware of Brians HVAC at the time of home a/c install)
Last evening I reached out to him regarding an a/c at a rental property that was not working. His technician arrived first thing this morning and resolved the issue. My renters were happy as well as me the landlord. Most important is i have found him honest and a man of his word!! Thank you Brian and your technicians for being great at what you do!!!

Yesterday evening our air conditioner failed on us. We were worried it was going to cost us a fortune to replace the entire thing. I was able to make contact with Brian's and they showed up first thing this morning. The problem was not as bad as we thought. The service tech was awesome and quickly repaired our air conditioner. We are very very pleased with such prompt professional service. Thank you Brian's !

They charged me $180 to install my eco bee the guy basically didn't know what he was doing. I knew I should have canceled the service but I needed to get it installed. I could have installed the eco bee in the inside of the house but I didn't want to mess with the hvac on the roof so that's why I called them after it took him 3 hours to install he only checked if the A/C worked so I asked him to check the heater and he said it should be working and then told me to check it myself later and if it's not working they
will come back well I tried turning on the heater today and it doesn't work I called them to come see if the previous guys didn't do his job right and that's why my heater ain't working and now they want me to pay them more than $100 to come look to see if the previous guy didn't do it correctly. Bad customer service honestly go somewhere else I only went with
them because the old thermostat had their information. Yes, i know I should have checked the heater after her left or made him do it himself but it was in July when this happened it was too hot to be running the heater.

We were delighted with the prompt courteous service. We were able to arrange for the installation and were surprised that work was completed in one day. We had two 16 seer new HVAC systems placed on our roof. The owner even came out. After the equipment was installed the crew cleaned up both inside and outside!

I recently hired Brian's Heating and Cooling to replace my air conditioner. It was a first time that
I had used this company.
My experience couldn't have been better - professional and cleanup was wonderful.

I must say this was the best experience I have ever had with repairmen or installation of appliances.

When my old heating/cooling system needed to be replaced, I contacted many HVAC companies. Brian’s was the only company that seemed to want my business and treated me as such. They did an excellent installation and the price for the whole system/installation was very fair. The whole process was painless from start to finish. Thank you Brian’s HVAC for an excellent job. I will know who to contact next time.

Our HVAC went out in the middle of a three-digit heat wave and they were able to install a new HVAC within a week from the day we called. The whole team was courteous, punctual, prompt and very efficient. We are very pleased with the high-quality service we received. The new HVAC system itself has been cooling exceptionally well. This took place over a two month period at the beginning of the summer with over 100 degree temperatures. Our AC recently died, i called two different repairmen to check it. The first one that came to my house charged $100 to clean it, it worked for about 30 minutes then stopped blowing cool air. I called them and they came back again the next day, same thing, it worked for 30 minutes then stopped. I called them again but they never answered me any more. Second repairmen said the motor was bad, I was charged  $400, the ac never worked. I decided we needed a new one, I called Brians to schedule an estimate, Brian himself came to my house the next morning and gave me an estimate, he was cordial and professional. I wanted to shop around because buying an AC unit is not cheap.  I had three other companies giving me estimates, 2 of them came to my house, one of them charged over double the price of Brian's estimate, the other one about 3000$ over Brian's estimate and for a lower quality AC unit. The third company was the first repaiman that never answered me, he had the audacity to send me a text selling me a unit for almost 13,000. We decided on Brian's, we had to wait a week after letting them know we would like to buy from them because of other orders they had.  SAVE yourself time and money...and suffering, and go with Brian's. I scheduled the installation on a Tuesday if I recall correctly and they where here promptly, the work was done with no problems. I cant say how happy we are with our new unit and even happier that we saved much more wth Brian's. Their whole team has great customer service. Brian's team even removed the old motor so I can return it to the other repair man.

I had Brian’s Heating and Cooling replace my old AC and Heating unit. Oscar and Jacob were so nice and professional. They did a great job that I expected to be all day or possibly stretching into 2 days. They finished on the first day, cleaned everything up, even swept my garage for me. I highly recommend this company. Brian came out and checked the work during the day as well. Such a good company!

Thank you Brian’s heating and cooling company. Best service in the valley and best price. AC went out right when the heat wave started a few days later I got a new LENNOX unit. The team who came out today were professional and had everything set up in no time.

I have used Brian's for years!!!! I've called them for my home, my parents house and recently gave the info to my sister who now uses their services and also her in laws! Brian is so awesome! The office staff is so professional. Michelle is the nicest lady ever she takes care of you, gets you set up with a appointment and their techs are all very well trained professionals . Excellent service! We were in the need of an entire new system, a/c and heater. We called Brian’s for an estimate and was very impressed with the level of service and information they provided. We decided to go with this company for the whole new split system. We also added a whole house fan.

From the start of the process to the end Brian’s Heating and Cooling was professional, excellently proved and made the entire process very easy!

Before our new A/C our old unit would run all day and night and never cool our house down to past 80 degrees! It was old and way too small! That is not the case now! Our new unit was the perfect fit for the size of our house. It does not rub all day but our house is as cool as we want it! It is amazing! I could not be happier with our whole house fan as well! This company knows their stuff and treats their customers very well! They have the best prices and the best service! Give them a call today you won’t be sorry!

You really don’t need to look any further - just go with Brian’s heating and cooling if you need a new ac or furnace. I did a lot of research and got quotes from at least 3 other well reviewed companies. I like to compare prices from different companies as well as ask questions about what they recommend in terms of equipment in order to see if there is consistency. You learn a lot by hearing explanations about why they recommend one thing over another, and then doing some research into whether that makes sense or not.

After talking to these other 3 companies and Brian’s, I can tell you that Brian is really knowledgeable, and does not try to upsell you just to get a sale. He really wants to make sure that you get the equipment that will be most efficient and useful and of the best value to you. We were really confident in our decision to go with Brian’s in terms of value, honesty, and standing behind their work.

When the crew came to do the furnace and ac replacement, they were also great! It took 2 days and they were so polite and courteous. Wore masks the whole time, put down drop cloths on the areas they were working and walking to from the front door, and cleaned up after themselves at the end of the night. They kept us informed and just made it easy to have them working in our house while we were working at home as well.

Brian came out to check things over as well after the job was completed and noticed something in the attic where the furnace was that was really minor and we would never have noticed but came back later in the week to put some extra part on - you can tell he really cares about doing a job right.

I would 100% recommend Brian’s and will definitely be telling our friends about them. There are not many businesses that I am so satisfied with but Brian’s definitely exceeded all expectations.

My wife and I want to thank you guys for helping us with replacing our old A/C unit. You were courteous, prompt, friendly and made this transaction super easy. The 4 man install crew was also amazing and friendly and did an awesome job on the installation. Thank you for all of your help.

Awful work I called to get a consultation and was not given a quota but when the worker came to my house they demanded 100$ upfront. Just for them to look at the ducts not even the ac unit itself and tell me what I already know. In total his “revision” took a total of 10 to 15 minutes with a very sloppy review and explanation. Do not use this service Valley Air Conditioning & Repair is a much better bang for your buck and the people are reliable.
