I have used Hamilton Tree Service many times and they continue to provide a safe, reliable experience at good value. Most recently we had two giant live oaks with health and safety issues removed. All necessary equipment was on site by 8:00AM and all work, including cleanup, was complete by 3:30PM. Thank you Nick, Brian, Darryl & Walter!

They were priced below other companies, produced amazing service, and required less waiting/permitting than the other companies. We had 5 trees removed and a very large oak tree pruned. They worked efficiently and left everything neat and clean once complete. They were great to work with and took care to protect anything surrounding the trees being removed so nothing was damaged during the process.

We recently used Hamilton for the removal of 7 large pines on a very tricky cliff in the Berkeley hills and couldn’t have been more satisfied! The quote was very reasonable for the machinery and the skill needed to address the tricky topography of our location. The narrow streets required a traffic permit and they handled everything with the city. Our view of the bay is now open and beautiful, as well as eliminating the fire hazard the trees were posing. The front office and all workers were kind, curteous and respectful and I would recommend them (and already have) to anyone looking for tree work in the East Bay.

We were very pleased with Jarred and his crew for the beautiful job they did on our oak trees. This was the second time we’ve used Hamilton Tree Service. They are so good at explaining everything, and they did an excellent job of working with us to achieve the end result we wanted. They were fast, efficient and clean. Hamilton tree service was the perfect team to guide us through the stressful process of unexpectedly needing to trim our oak trees due to insurance related concerns about roof overhang. From the initial evaluation by Jarred it was clear we were in the right hands as he was able to skillfully assess branch by branch our large trees being mindful to maintain both the aesthetic quality but also and importantly the overall integrity of the tree while seeking to adhere to the fire-related insurance concerns we are all now facing. On the day of his team was incredibly professional, all working in coordinated, safe fashion. It was impressive to see. We are grateful to Hamilton and to Jarred for the timely, professional and efficient work that they did. Not to mention, the beautifully stacked pile of future firewood they left us per our request. We would absolutely go with them again and recommend without hesitation.

Leo and team did tree removal, stump grinding, and pruning. Overally, they did an excellent job--efficient, thorough and pleasant. They showed up on time, ready to work. You could tell that they had the right equipment and knew what they were doing. Brittany in the office was very communicative, nice, and prompt.
