Art took us through a general layout of our replacement HVAC system yesterday. He patiently answered all questions, and helped us understand some of the finer points about heat pump performance.
It's so important to have a source of information that is credible and backed by extensive experience.

Hugo, the tech was nice, friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything he was doing to us. He was not in a rush and took time with us. He was patient since we have dogs and I had to move them around. Hugo had great customer service and kept asking us if we had any questions . He was not a salesman, trying to sell us a bunch of unnessary parts. He was honest and I will definitely call them again. I liked how they update you on the ETA of the tech. You have a 2 hour window but they gave me a heads up that he was an route. This was very helpful. I highly recommend them.

Best in the biz! Has come to our rescue more than once and is very reasonable. No waiting around, very responsive, calls back and is always on time. Family owned and operated and they are now our go-to for all things HVAC! Thank you Art and staff!

We are very pleased with the professional job that Castillo Heating and Air Conditioning did when installing our new unit. We had a couple of minor issues that needed addressing and they responded quickly the very day we notified them of the problems. We have highly recommended them to other friends and neighbors.

Have used this company 15 years ago to install AC in my house. Liked them so much we had them come out the second time to install a new unit on the second story in 2020. 3 years later, we need our AC serviced and so sad they won't come out to service. They say it's too far. I haven't moved. It's the same house they came to install both units. Wish I would have know this before we bought the second unit. I trust and respect this company. They do a good job. But just ask if they will service your area, after your warranty has expired, before buying.

I just wanted to thank Castillo Heating and AC company for being so prompt and professional with my needs. Huge thanks to Hugo for being so kind and understanding, and giving us options for our repairs. He kept a constant communication with us as well which I greatly appreciate it. Castillo Heating and Air have exceeded my expectations, all of the staff are friendly and very professional. Mr. Castillo is very knowledgeable and honest. I had a unit installed in June, I had an issue and was placed on the schedule immediately, despite their busy Summer schedule. Prices, service, and workmanship is excellent. I would highly recommend this company and have been.

We are senior citizens in poor health and our air conditioner finally quit working and we were without air for 1 1/2 days in 110 temperatures. Art came out and gave us an estimate, called the place that had the air conditioner to see if it was in stock, had them hold it and called the person in charge of scheduling and made sure they scheduled us for the next day for installation. He and Ben got us up and running by the afternoon with no problems. We appreciate everything they did and highly recommend them.

With triple digit heat coming I called as my A/C was leaking and they came out the next morning. It was something simple thank goodness but they were on time, cooperative, listened and explained things thoroughly. Have used before and referred them - excellent service. Would recommend them to anyone.

They are great with their annual service plan as well. They come out every 6 months and check your system to help prevent costly repairs in the future. Their program is great and they are always a pleasure to work with.

Castillo's air conditioning service is excellent; I wish they could get 100 stars because I admire each worker's integrity and professionalism. Marques and Tony were extremely professional and guided me through the entire process. They arrived on time and exceeded all expectations. Castillo Heating and Air Conditioning is the absolute best! I have to begin by praising the amazing office staff! They are friendly, professional, and always return phone calls and emails within a reasonable amount of time! Through the years, this company has serviced my a.c. unit, and they have always done great work! This year, the old system finally quit on us. Art Castillo, the owner came in and gave us a great quote that included different options to choose from. He worked with our budget and exceeded our expectations. The installers were always on time, respectful, and made sure to protect my carpet and keep things very clean. I must also add that Castillo Heating and Air uses top quality products and offers great warranty packages! My home is cool and comfortable now thanks to the Castillo family business!

None better. Castillo Heating & Air has serviced our unit for over 10 years. We needed a new heating component...we could have repaired we decided to install a new heat pump. Castillo work is exemplary (so said our contractor at the time). They came back when we had to have the city sign off on the work. Art (owner) came out to make sure everything was in working order. Great to have a company from point of sale to the end stay with you through the process. Teresa in their office was patient to answer any and all questions. A family owned business they take pride in their work. You cannot go wrong with Castillo.

Castillo went above and beyond. The communication was great from the beginning. The quote was straight forward. Art did not act like a car salesman as did the guy from our first quote. The first company that quoted subtracted the rebate to make the cost seem lower. With Castillo the rebate was AFTER their quote. Castillo was much lower. The job was done on time and all the workers were very kind and professional. Every step of the process was explained. Art came the next day to make sure everything was ok. It’s nice to know that there are still companies with integrity - and Castillo is one of them. We love our new AC!!

Always a good experience with Castillo. This was my regularly scheduled fall checkup for my heater. Ben arrived early after checking with me to see if it was OK to get here early. I highly recommend signing up for Castillo's program of regular checkups for heater and A/C.

My previous post: Fantastic! My A/C went out and I was worried that I would need a whole new system, which costs thousands of dollars, but it turned out that a part (a capacitor) needed to be replaced. What a relief! Arturo Jr. replaced the capacitor quickly, and my A/C is up and running again. I have been a customer of Castillo for 15 or 20 years and have them do maintenance on my heater and A/C every year. They always show up on time and provide good service for a reasonable price.

Arturo was great. He took plenty of time to explain what he was going to do and how he was going to do it. When your dealing with HVAC you worry about how much it is going to cost. You hear horror stories of repairs costing thousands of dollars, so we were quite relieved when Arturo informed us it was the capacitor. You have earned our gratitude and our business. we will be sure to tell our friends and neighbors

I got an informative (not sales pitch) first appointment, we went with them to install our minisplits. They were installed on time, on budget and in two days. Very happy with the whole team and highly recommend. They were also cool with my dogs and kids, weren't phased by my giant puppies in the least.

10/19/2023- Had one unit dripping a bit of water, they came out and fixed it with in 24 hours of me emailing about the situation. 10/10

Excellent service and very professional people. I have only one issue with the company, I have the twice a year service plan and I thought they would check everything in the ac unit, including the drain pipes, but I was wrong. The inspection is supposed to be a preventative measure, to avoid expensive repairs but I found that I was wrong. They never inspected the drain pipes and they end up being clogged. This caused a major damage to my ceiling , costing me $500 to fix the pipes, plus the drywall repairs. All this could have been avoided if the inspection included the pipes and tray inspection. I am very sad because Mr. Castillo was the one who installed my ac unit and I trusted them to provided me a thorough inspection. I was so wrong.
Today a repair was done replacing the pressure valve, so far so good. Mr Castillo was here to perform the work, he is as always very professional. Still will recommend them for any AC work.

I asked the Owner Art about prices on new units and an estimate of repairing my old one. My unit is 29 years old and I'm surprised it's still functioning? He was very kind, check my Heater and told me it was an "Ignition wire" and that fixing it was pricey and at the age it is, probably not to do it. He gave me a price. In today's market I'm sure it was fair and he carries the very best. I truly enjoyed Art, he's a gentlemen, patient and caring about the customer (which I truly appreciate), those days of service I thought had disappeared! If I had the money, I would have gone with him, he's been in business for 41 years, very caring and his Customer Service is amazing. Thanks for listening. Ms Jo L Ray
