Having dealt with the stress of a lawsuit by an extortionist lawyer, I felt incredibly blessed to have Protrk Construction Inc. do the remedial work to make my business rental property ADA compliant. Today, my two tenants are greatly relieved and thankful that after two weeks of intense activity on the site, the results are great and the experience was as painless as it could possibly be. When a heated dispute broke out on the very day that work was to begin, he handled the disgruntled relative of a tenant with tact and intelligent firmness. (You'll even get over the fact that the "a" is missing from the name pronounced as "Protrak."

I don't even know where to start. I was struggling, trying to find a company that would help me with my ADA complaint. I was referred to Black Diamond by my landlord because they worked on her parking lot and I tried reaching them but they've continuously delayed their response. After a month and a half of radio silence, we discovered ProTrk Construction. After discussing with Russ Rocchi about the issue we were facing, both his response and customer service was phenomenal. That's when I realized I found the right team. I requested if they could meet my deadline, strange weather aside (this includes heavy rain for 2 weeks). But they perceived and did above and beyond, willing to work even with heavy conditions. Here is the best team that makes everything possible, with excellent service, and going that extra mile while also being budget-friendly.

If I could give Protrk Construction more than 5 Gold Stars, I definitely would. I needed to make my parking lot ADA compliant and the work performed by Protrk went beyond my expectations. Bruce, the onsite supervisor is the definition of hard work and professionalism. Not only did he and his team do an amazing job in correcting the compliance issues I had but Bruce went above and beyond the scope of work. Small business owners know all too well the slew of ADA lawsuits by Drive-by litigators. We just wanted to comply and correct the claims and move on with our lives and business. Protrk was not the cheapest bid. There were bids for the ADA compliant parking to be done in asphalt, without permits, that were around 30% less. Deciding factors:

• Plans ( West Hollywood wants to see plans for everything. The plans get plan-checked and stamped approval. We felt the more departments approved each phase of the job, the more assured the job was done right.)

• Permits ( We didn’t want to stress on getting popped and penalized, more assured compliance by the book)

• Materials ( concrete with rebar is much more stable and the warranty on workmanship and materials was from double to three times what asphalt companies offered.

Our Protrk experience was provided by Mike Schaeffer, who worked with us on the contract proposal and managed our account. Mary B Welch also managed the project and updated us each week. Todd Leach did the invoicing and accounting. Communication was reciprocated promptly.

Overall, working with good people, by-the-book compliance, quality of work and materials, informed our value based decision.
