The best HVAC company of I received the service among the family owned Heating and Cooling Company in the South Bay while I have lived in San Jose for about 40 years. The excellent work from the technicians and the trusty and detail explanation from the owner for resolving the heat loss concern from the good condition of my furnace. The great supervisory contact from the owner to the technicians until the job completion. I strongly suggest to have an appointment with the Upgrade Home Services for inspecting and estimating cost of fixing your HVAC problem before the final selection among HVAC companies in the South Bay.

I had a great experience working with Victor at upgrade home services. He explained me my options and installed a heat pump at my house. I certainly had a 5 star experience throughout installation and permitting process, Victor is great person to work with, he keeps you informed and did everything on schedule and to our satisfaction, I highly recommend upgrade home services for any HVAC work that you may need.

Victor was wonderful. He came out to check why my heater was not running. He did a lot of testing and found the heating system was in working order. Somehow after he left, I tried to turn on the heat and no heat would come on. I called Victor again. He came back to my house to check and found paper stuck in a vent blocking airflow so the heater couldn't run.
After all that work, he charged me nothing because he said he didn't have to replace anything. He was so honest and did not try to sell me stuffs. I definitely will call Victor for my future HVAC works. Since there is no box showing $0 for the question: "How much did you pay?", I clicked the box showing the range of $1-100. Thanks very much Victor for your honesty and integrity.

My A/C went out during a heat wave. I couldn't find anyone that would come out for a week. TFF HVAC came out in less than 2 hours. They were able to diagnose the problem and quote the repairs that day. They ordered the replacement parts quickly and the repairs were done in 1 day!

TFF HVAC did a great job in installation of my HVAC (Many thanks to Tony and Heidi). Despite the technical challenges on the electric work through the attic, placement of the condenser, ...,etc they were able to deliver the high-quality job on time. Extremely happy with their service.

After my heat was out for two days and it was freezing, they showed up on a very cold Sunday to fix my entire heat pump system and thankfully were able to fix it. I so appreciate their help.

Tony and his crew are the best professionals I’ve ever hired for any job. They’re a rare combination of being extremely professional, courteous, good at what they do and competitive at price. We hired them upon a friend’s recommendation and it was one of the best decisions we made. Initially we were confused between installing a new central ac/heating system or a mini split. Tony came twice to do a thorough evaluation, shared pros and cons of both and made his recommendation. We ended up going with a mini-split. During the installation, the crew was very professional. They covered up the entire area, worked around our little one’s nap schedule, asked for our feedback along the way. After the installation was done, we wanted to have additional heating in one of the rooms. Tony worked with us on the scope change and his goal was to always make us happy. There were small little things that required his crew to come back again and again but they never made a fuss about it. Their goal was perfection and they delivered on it big time. As an example, there was an outside area where it was difficult to install covered metal frames. Tony is a craftsman and invested his personal time to get it right. He often will tell you - we’re good at difficult, it is so true!

Not too many HVAC outfits have experience with installing heat pumps for heating. Our project was even more custom because we were keeping the existing gas furnace as a back-up. Tony demonstrated solid knowledge of tech and codes, and gave us a competitive quote. We're very happy with both the speed and quality of install, as well as how the heat-pump is functioning. Our gas consumption dropped like a rock. They also went the extra mile and fixed a couple of auxiliary problems with ductwork, including some work that wasn't included in the project. Very professional and friendly company - thank you Tony and Heidi.

Tony and Heidi are extremely professional and knowledgeable. The HVAC system which Tony and team installed many years ago had no major trouble whatsoever. We appreciate the heating and cooling which just works. Once a minor issue appeared (not their fault) which Tony promptly fixed.

They also offered us choices in terms of which system to install and gave us good advice. Not pushy at all.

This family owned business truly values their customers and takes pride in their work. I would hire them another time in a heartbeat. They are a gem as people too!
