My Home Warranty company only had two plumbers available, and the first one they recommended wasn't meeting my standards as far as reviews. I was really scared that Golden State Plumbing wasn't going to be answering phone, as My warranty company said they were located in Atwater, and I explained it was Modesto. They had said there was 1 complaint, as I was super skeptical and had requested another company that was not available anymore. .
Tracy the Office Manager and Owner answered her phone on a Saturday and she even rearranged her business schedule to accomodate my Emergency needs. I had a leaky toilet. A leaky shower and valves, and with all the stress of everything else going on, she understood perfectly.
They came out on Monday, and they had to get approval from warranty company first. Jessica, Tracy's assistant had the approval by the afternoon. I wanted an American Standard Toilet, and Jessica said that warranty company doesn't usally match the brand. Jimmy the technician, surprised me on Wed, with an American Standard Toilet rather than the one they normally put in. Jimmy went the extra mile to please me. I even got the pretty handles crystal clear for my shower. I did go purchase a different shower head though cause I didn't want a standard size.
Jimmy explained what had to be done, and made sure that it wasn't leaking when he left. Jimmy was respectful, efficient, and came with the required tools. He was patient and understanding and knowledgeable. I am so glad I choose them, and got to meet some of their staff. Right now I dont have any leak that I know of.. I will request them again if something happens again with my plumbing. Thanks again.

I normally dont put negative comments on reviews however this is one of the few worse business i ever seen. They mentioned if they do complete work will charge me full price and if they cant will let me know in the first hour. They end up charged me full price and job in completed. I called Tracy the office manager and as soon as i started complaint she hang up the phone. Very rude people included owner . Not professional.I called a local business and they completed the messed caused by the owner of golden state plumbing and charged very low price.
Be smart and dont deal with them still i will make sure to get my money back.
They make their emplyees to put reviews with different names.

Jimmie was excellent! I had a unique toilet/flooring situation and he was able to get the tool and fix same day! Very professional as well!

We had a great experience with Golden State Plumbing specifically Jimmie Powers. He came in to and cleared our main line in our home. He was super patient and very effective. Were grateful for Jimmie and Golden State’s service.

I called Golden State Plumbing and got a same day appointment to my surprise . The plumber (Jimmy) came out and checked my water heater. I needed a new water heater. After making some calls he was able find me a new one. He told me he could get it and install it first thing in the morning at 8 am. The next day he was there at 8 am ready to work (didn’t have to wait all day). The work was done professionally and everything cleaned up and hauled away. I got a fair price and professional service. Thats refreshing during these hard times.

Technician was on time as scheduled but the $250 service call offered no real benefit to me. They basically charged me to tell me I needed a new water heater, which I already kinda knew. After I requested a quote for a replacement, I never heard from them again. Typical. New modern service standards have basically forced me to learn to do everything myself.

So pleased with my plumbing service from Golden State Plumbing. I called on a Saturday morning with my water heater leaking. They had me taken care of by Tuesday.
I did called around the Central Valley prior to the install and GSP had the most competitive pricing in the area.
Honestly, I could not be happier with the customer service I have received from Golden State Plumbing.

Vincent R. came to my home to find and repair a leak in my faucet and assess my water heater. I don't write reviews often, but I had to because the service I received was truly excellent. Vincent was extremely efficient, professional and customer service oriented. In today's world, it is refreshing to find someone who does a great job, and also has a professional demeanor. That being said, I also have to give a big hand, and a great review for Sabrina, the receptionist at Golden State Plumbing Service. You can hear the smile in her voice! You can tell that she understands the role of great customer service in the success of the business. She is upbeat and polite! Jimmy is professional knowledgeable on every plumbing issue we needed. We recently remodeled 3 bathrooms and a kitchen & he did all the plumbing and did an awesome job. I highly recommend this company.

I called Golden State going to get my toilet fixed. After we flush it, they will continuously run until we shut it off underneath. So they called and asked about pricing which is fairly competitive in the Central Valley. I went ahead and booked with them. They seem to get me on the schedule promptly as well as when the technician showed up, he was very welcoming he stated his name was Jimmie. He then went to fix our toilet located in our spare Jimmie had to be in there for about 30 minutes and that was it. Toilet is fixed now we no longer hear our toilet continuously running and I'm a happy dad. My water bill is a lot lower now.

Fantastic! So honest and helpful. It's hard to get a good company to come out through our home warranty company but Golden State Plumbing has done a great job for us twice now. We called them in for a second opinion after the first plumber our home warranty company sent out didn't even want to try to do the job.

Golden State Plumbing fixed our sink and told us all of our options for the washing machine piping under our cement that has a hole due to tree roots growing through it. Jimmie and his co-worker (whose name escapes me atm) cared more about being honest and helpful than pressuring us to spend thousands of dollars before they would even do anything (like the last company, grr).

Highly, highly recommended!

Great company. Jimmie has been our plumber for years always fair and honest . I would not consider calling anyone else . He always does a great job explaining the issues and what it will take to fix them I have used for big jobs and small drain clogs coming through every time

Golden state is the 3rd plumbing company to come to my home & assess the problem I was having with my plumbing. He immediately reassured me he can fix it. After hearing bad news from the other contractors my warranty company sent . Jimmie was here to save the day. He reassured me he can fix it & he did & it looks great works great. I won’t be going anywhere else for my plumbing needs. I recommend 100%. I got a very old home & he figured out with ease. I can’t say enough good stuff About Golden State plumbing and especially the plumber that came out precisely was Jimmy. He was on time. he listened to every issue that I was having and adjust each issue with a Solution he repaired two toilets and a sink that had been awful for years. Great experience with this company! These guys were prompt and on time, which I have a hard time finding amongst other plumbing companies In the area. Very professional establishment especially in comparison to the last company I used. The last company I used, the guy showed up with his hair in very extensive braids and telling me how new he was to the industry and was actually a certified giraffe handler in the past. Needless to say golden state is my new go to contractors.

Absolutely wonderful! I had my tankless water heater flushed Jimmy did a great job at a fair price. He was very helpful and even helped me with replacing my tub drain. I definitely will be using golden state plumbing for any plumbing needs in the future and will have my water heater flushed once a year with them. Jimmy is very down to earth and knowledgeable I didn’t feel at all like he was trying to upsell me on stuff.
