Almost impossible to find - google maps takes you to seaside location closed years ago. Address on site is incorrect ! It’s 2 Harris court not 4. Arrived at five minutes before 1pm to have them refill my Extinguisher- no one there no answering machine I waited and waited - after driving all over hell’s acre to find the place it would be nice if it was OPEN or at least that they reopened at the stated time (1pm). Screw it - I’ll just go to Home Depot and buy a couple of new Extinguishers. Thanks for nothing, guys.

Our vehicle fire extinguisher lost the plastic tag that keeps the safety pin in place. I called Monterey Fire Extinguisher and they told me to stop by and they would replace it for free. Appreciate the great service!

Our racing team, Sweetspot Racing was in Monterey at the Laguna Seca Raceway competing in two 7 Hour endurance road races this weekend. Around 6 PM on Friday we discovered that we had not packed the required 10 pound fire extinguisher which is used in the pit during fueling. It’s an essential piece of safety gear. We tried to find one everywhere and anywhere we could at that time of the night. No one had one anywhere. After trying 6 or more possible sources we had nothing... in a wild last ditch effort we called Monterey Fire Extinguisher, MFE, which turned out to be closed. (It was Friday night and obviously everyone had gone home for the weekend.) Nevertheless, in desperation, I left a voice message explaining our issue. I was not expecting a reply. To my complete surprise and delight I got a call back around 6:30 PM from the company owner, Jeff Cecilio, who offered to drive back to the warehouse, open up again and deliver into our hands the required 10 pound extinguisher. Boom! Done! He did it with a smile and expressed sincere joy at how good it made him feel to help people. We tried to give him additional $$$ to convey our immense gratitude. He totally refused. He was in it for the sake of our happiness! We left there feeling fantastic!!! He was such a nice spirit and he helped us through a tough spot! The frosting on the story?? The nixt day after 7 hours, we won our class and we were the overall winner, coming in first out of the 45 teams competing!!! And we set the fastest lap time of the day at 1:43! A new team record!!!

Customer Service Rep Jaime was incredibly rude. My phone calls mainly dealt with her asking repeatedly about my project. She Never revealed any previous conversations. Had to call multiple times. Complete waste of my time!

Saw puddle of water in the garage last Sunday night. Called this company and was going to leave them a voice mail.
So surprised Jeff the owner answered the phone on a Sunday night.
He said he could be at the house at 10:00 on Monday. He came in early and was able to pin point the issue within an hour. He said the leak is from a broken pipe that is connected to the water heater. The broken pipe is behind the sheet rock.
He is so knowledgeable, experienced and professional with exceptional demeanor.
His company doesn’t do this line of work. He referred me to a reputable plumbing company.
When I asked for his bill, he said since he didn’t do any repair there is no charge. I was beyond surprised as he was there for good hour.
How refreshing Jeff is.
Before he left he said be sure to give him an update on the job. He truly put his customers on top priority.
Definitely recommend Monterey Fire Extinguisher.

I've had the pleasure of working with Groza Construction on an extensive remodel to a high-end historic structure on the Monterey Peninsula. They have been phenomenal to work with on what has turned out to be a rather complex project. The guys in the field are great at solving some of the issues that inevitably arise when you tear into a 100 year old home. The job site is spotless. The client communications are great and the firm has also done a wonderful job of maintaining communication across a fairly broad group of consultants (architects, interior designers, landscape architects....etc.). They're team players, problem solvers and have a keen eye for detail. As an architect, I look forward to working with them again!

I first met Cody West from Groza Construction in 2013 when he approached us to bid the plumbing and radiant heating for a custom home that was over 10,000 sq feet and once we completed that job we were very pleased and impressed with their professionalism from the office to their field supervisors. As a subcontractor that has been working on the peninsula for over 20 years and in the trades for over 35 years Groza Construction has been our go to general contractor with Cody West and Asa Engstrom always providing a safe and clean work environment for my employees. With their supervisors overseeing each project we are able to complete every project with a great quality product for the clients.

I hate having any sort of construction done because of past experiences with unreliable messy contractors who promised more than they could deliver, but Palacios Construction was the complete opposite experience. I was extremely pleased with Palacios Construction! They refinished my extensive back porch in Pebble Beach and were meticulous in their work. They were always on time, always clean and tidy, always careful, and it showed in the high quality of their work. I especially appreciated their attention to detail and positive attitudes, always going above and beyond to make sure the work was exceptional. They also took care of some electrical work that was needed, and took time to explain the work - so patient, respectful and professional! I will only use Palacios Construction for all my construction needs!
