Christian was in touch promptly, his crew prepped the area to not make a mess, and they finished the job in a timely manner. Christian would also come by often to check in on the work and if I was satisfied with everything. Professional company.

I also am looking to take an interior wall out. Christian has answered my questions over the years (while I lagged on the project) and was never pushy. I look forward to hiring Palacios Construction again 🤙🏼

From the onset of our extensive home remodeling project in Pacific Grove, CA, Christian and his team at Palacios Construction have been nothing short of remarkable! Their dedication to quality, attention to detail, and the seamless execution of my vision transformed our living space.

Christian, the owner, was personally involved in every step of the process, ensuring that our two bathroom upgrades were not only functional but also exuded modern elegance. His suggestions were invaluable, blending practicality with aesthetic appeal, which resulted in bathrooms that balanced our budget and desires.

The kitchen redesign was a massive undertaking, and Christian's expertise shone through. He helped us navigate through countless options to find the perfect balance between style and usability. The end result is a kitchen that is not only beautiful but also a joy to cook and entertain in.

The addition of a new deck has enhanced our outdoor space equally. Christian's choice of materials and design has created an inviting extension of our home that we enjoy daily.

The painting, siding, flooring, and drywall work were all completed with the same level of care and precision. Christian's team was punctual and courteous and always left the workspace clean at the end of each day.

Throughout the project, Christian was communicative, transparent with costs, and always available to address any concerns or changes we wanted to make. (and I made a lot)

Here is the real test... when something goes wrong (and if you have done construction something always does), will they back it up? I had two issues arise, and without hesitation (and out of warranty, might I say), Christian immediately responded and resolved both issues to my satisfaction...

Christian handled the complete renovation of my home in Monterey, complete teardown of ceiling, floors, then new floorpan and rebuild. The result is spectacular, his attention to details and the "can-do" attitude are great. Every single sub-con he brought in, from flooring, electrical, plumbing etc was top notch and his workers have the most positive attitude.
I went thru 3 general contractors before finding Palacios and none of them was even close. The bid process was very transparent, with everything documented online. I am very grateful for the hard work and passion he has put into my project and I would not recommend anyone else in the Monterey area.

I’m a realtor in the South Bay / Monterey Peninsula and I reached out to Christian and his team to take care of a few small things that were missing in my clients’ home before we sold it. I had a quick phone call with Christian and sent over the work we needed done, within two days he sent me the estimate for the job. The entire job was done within a week from when I first reached out to Christian. Granted, it was a smaller job, but I’ve worked with several contractors in the past and I can count on one hand the number of them that were as quick and thorough as Christian and his crew. We have known Christian for about 10 years. We have had him do three separate jobs for us. A bathroom remodel, some weathered beams on the exterior of our house. Also some interior open beams on our vaulted ceiling. Every time he has hit it spot on. Christian and his crew are always top-notch very clean and do professional work. Palacios Construction redid our fireplace face and hearth and we love the result. Christian had lots of great ideas to help us decide what we wanted to replace the existing outdated stone with. We had it done in a Shiplap style that turned out great. It lightens up the whole room. They did a great job (shout-out to Dave for all his hard work and craftsmanship) We knew the result would be good, because Christian and his crew also redid our floors in LVP in the kitchen and family room. They put a new kitchen sink in and an island hood as well. Very nice results. Thank you so much Christian, and I'm sure you'll be hearing from us again when we do our next upgrade 😊

Avoid at all costs. Extremely disapointed with all aspects of the job done. Took much longer,...this is my only one star- based on a nightmare.

McNamee Construction recently completed a complex renovation involving a conversion of a garage with sloping floor into a gorgeous music, office and hospitality center, which I now enjoy immensely. Finishes, cabinetry, lighting, flooring, ocean view windows, plumbing fixtures and finishes are all superb!
