I called to make an appointment and was ensured by the person making the reservation that they serviced my area. I was sent a confirmation text but it did not provide an appointment time. When I called to confirm the appointment time, the dispatcher said that they did not service my area and cancelled my appointment. What a complete waste of time! I could’ve gone with another company.

Daniel is a nice young man. Seemed very comfortable in his own skin and he was easy to talk to. I enjoyed our interaction.

ORIGINAL POST SEP 2024: RR Electric, Heating & Air replaced our two Goodman 3-ton gas furnace/AC units with two 3-ton Goodman electric heat pumps. Electricity usage savings was immediately apparent over the next 30 days, and I can’t wait to NOT get a big natural gas bill in the winter months. Entire experience with RR was professional and first-rate: a) inspection of existing units and recommendations, option explanations, and contracting with tech Gary P., b) job site pre-inspection by Juan B., and finally c) a great installation team. Old equipment had to be extracted from the attic and new equipment lifted up through a closet hatch. After the install team cleaned up you wouldn’t even know they were there. Two days and two units. We are happy.

UPDATE OCT 2025: Electrical tech Jose Lugo did our routine electrical inspection today. Not just a perfunctory glance but a thoughtful, detailed look and explanation of building code changes and resulting optional but useful upgrades. Took two hours altogether and I always learn something (or a lot of things) from these RR tech inspections. We also got a quote for tankless water heater options that we have been considering.

Yes, Jonathan gets a solid 5. He put me straight as to the real cause of my breaker problem.

I thought it was because the outside breaker box was exposed to water during a recent storm; he said it was because I was overloading the system in that room with power strips attached to too many devices, causing the outlets to overload the breaker.
With additional outlet installations, he put my potential fire hazard of an office to rights — all in one morning. Now I'm back in business the same afternoon.

When he left, my wife said, "I wish you had gotten their contact information, because I'll be needing him for another project soon." I told her to relax, that I practically had it tattooed on my arm."

Rodrigo was really respectful and thurough with his inspection of our HVAC system. He explained everything with great knowledge and was very personable.

Brandon was thorough with every step of process. He stressed what was of importance and what could be addressed at a later date. Extra points for the fun tip about using a paint brush for the dust on the vents! :)

I have been a customer for several years and am always happy with their service. They are very professional, respectful and pleasant to deal with. Travis performed my recent A/C check. He was very thorough cleaning out the unit and making sure the system was working efficiently. He took several pictures and pointed out a few things that will probably need maintenance in the future. I appreciate the fact that he did not make me feel pressured on getting them done now. I will definitely ask for him every time I need electrical or A/C work.

Daniel L from RR Electric came to my house to do an inspection and maintenance on my furnace to see that it is functioning properly and in good shape.
He came on time. He was very friendly, very professional and explained a couple of things about the the unit. He also advised me as have a couple of other people, of the importance and necessity to keep insulation, clean and up-to-date The insulation the crawl space is a blowout type of insulation that has probably been there since the house was built In the 50s has shifted in spots and compressed and is not functioning as it should To keep the house cold in the summer warm in the winter.
He is knowledgeable, pleasant and gave me all the pertinent information without being a hard sell. I will continue to use this company going forward.

We completed the first phase with some faulty electrical devices and made plans for a panel replacement, AC work, and any other smaller device replacements we should find along the way.

During the last rain storm my house had a power surge. It was a mess. Jonathan and his co-workers work long and hard to repair my 1928 home in Santa Paula. They kept me informed as the work was being done and took the time to explain the needed repairs. Each member of the team introduced themselves and all of them were very respectful. I will keep this company in my contact list and recommend them anytime someone ask for reference.

We had RR install a new furnace, AC and electrical panel when we were in the process of moving into a property whose systems had not been updated since probably the 1970s. The team did a fantastic job and were done within the course of a day. José on the electrical team installed the new electrical panel and came by to do follow up to ensure that everything was working and up to code - including things that they had not installed in the first place, like the Smoke Alarms. No one ever tried to upsell us on anything we didn’t need, even when they had suggestions for items we might want to consider in the future. A very positive experience. Originally came recommended form a friend who had needed emergency service on their AC and had had a great, very timely experience.
