Constraction reviews in Mountain View, California

Joel and his team are great. They recently installed a custom door to our home office. They were on time every day, were polite, quiet and cleaned up at the end of every day. And it turned out great. He will be my go to guy now for big or small jobs.

Highly Recommend J Sanchez Construction!

I recently had Joel remodel my bathroom, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. His professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding. He listened to my ideas, offered great suggestions, and completed the project on time and within budget. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and communication was excellent throughout. Joel and his crew did amazingly high quality throughout. They took the house we bought, which had extremely good bones, and rebuilt it to our every custom specifications. I think there is nothing Joel cannot do when it comes to a full house build or renovation. They are artists when it comes to everything.

I had the pleasure of working with Joel Sanchez of J Sanchez Construction for a powder room addition to my home, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the result. Joel is a highly hands-on contractor who ensured everything was executed smoothly from start to finish. He worked seamlessly with the architect, structural engineer, and city building inspectors, keeping everything on track and up to code.

What stood out most was Joel's commitment to clear communication. He kept me informed throughout the entire construction process, explaining each step and giving me a heads-up about what to expect next. His professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication to getting the job done right truly made the experience stress-free. I highly recommend Joel and his team for any construction project!

I recently hired this company to repair the glulam beam on my home. The job was completed quickly and efficiently, despite the challenging location—my house is built close to the water, which made access to the beam difficult.
The contractor and his team were diligent, respectful, and followed all my instructions without hesitation. They showed great attention to detail and maintained a strong work ethic throughout the project.
Most importantly, the repairs were completed to a high standard and successfully passed city inspection. I highly recommend this contractor to anyone looking for quality work and a reliable team!

Working from a barge under two over water decks sharing support from a single cantilevered wood beam, the Sanchez crew removed dry rot damage from the beam, replaced it with new wood and installed two 20+ foot long reinforcing steel channels for support.
The job began on schedule with required permits, at competitive cost, completed all inspections and ended on time. Joel Sanchez was always available by phone to respond to questions and provided valuable photo records of the work done. It was a very impressive project from start to finish.

We walked in overwhelmed about all the remodeling decisions, but Katie, wow! You are a rockstar! No better, a super hero! She was patient, knew her stuff, and put our minds are ease so we can choose the right appliances! Thank you so much!

Working with Construction by Meyer & Mustafa on my ADU construction and house remodel in San Jose, CA was a fantastic experience. Mustafa and his team did an exceptional job, delivering high-quality work. Despite the project becoming more expensive due to additional remodeling, Mustafa was honest and transparent about the costs. He never tried to overcharge us and gave us fair prices even as we added more and more to the project. I couldn't have asked for a better design build team or a more positive experience. Very happy with the results! highly recommend them.

It was a pleasure working with Construction By Meyer and their teams. I am totally satisfied with their quality workmanship, communication & scheduling and the results! Our older home had leaks, needed repairs & a refresh. Recommendations for exterior finishes were perfect, job was completed efficiently, despite the rain. Looking forward to CBM remodeling our kitchen in the future!

We contracted with Construction by Meyer (CbM) for a kitchen and laundry room remodel in 2024 and we were so pleased with the results. Of note:
• High level of professionalism in contracting and execution
• Outstanding design work and continued follow-up by Rachita. She had a lot of great ideas to make the kitchen 'come alive', including reconfiguring the area, attention to detail and design of a subtle color palette
• Responsive and attentive follow-up by all team members; Rod himself was engaged throughout
• Strong ability to navigate permitting and regulatory requirements
• Completed the work expeditiously and with daily cleanups (important as we lived here during the remodel)
• Transparent pricing with no surprises
We truly enjoy the results of our remodel every day and will do future work with CbM.

We hired Ariel from Golden Team Builders to build our new deck, and the experience was amazing from start to finish. We had an old deck that was outdated and starting to feel unsafe, and Ariel completely transformed the space.

He helped us choose the right materials, explained the entire process clearly, and delivered exactly what he promised. The craftsmanship is top quality — everything is level, solid, and beautifully finished. The attention to detail really shows.

The crew was professional, clean, and respectful of our property. The project was completed on time, and there were no surprises with pricing.

Now our backyard feels like a brand new outdoor living space, and we couldn’t be happier. If you’re thinking about building or replacing a deck, I highly recommend Ariel and Golden Team Builders.

Our remodel was an extensive project that included:
Converting a family room into a primary suite with a walk-in closet and attached bath.
Reinforcing the foundation to accommodate the demolition of a load-bearing wall.
A full kitchen and bathroom remodel.
Replacing all flooring throughout the home.
A complete garage remodel.
Replacing exterior wood siding shingles with stucco.

The hardest part of any major renovation is choosing a general contractor. It is a massive investment, and we wanted someone we could trust with our hard-earned money and our vision for quality. Construction By Meyers (CBM) stood out immediately. Unlike others, they proved their long-standing license and took the extra step of connecting us with prior customers. This allowed us to see their work in person and hear honest feedback—no strings attached. CBM truly understands that the customer journey begins long before a contract is signed.

Once we started, the design phase was seamless. Our designer was incredible; she listened to our conflicting ideas over multiple sessions and patiently revised the renderings until every detail was perfect. Having designs made the overwhelming process of choosing finishes so much easier.

We remodeled to modernize our home and improve its functionality for our specific needs. I am so glad we chose CBM; seeing our dreams move from a screen to our actual walls and floors was exciting. The end result not just matched the original designs but exceeded our expectations as it looked better in person. Their quality and craftsmanship is amazing.
We love our "new" home and are happy to call it our dream house. Thank you, CBM! We will definitely reach out for future projects and highly recommend them to anyone looking to remodel.

We have enlisted the services of Aria several times for various tasks around our home and he proves time and time again he is professional, trustworthy, reliable and highly talented in his field. We have and will continue to refer him to our friends and colleagues for any jobs they may have around the house.

Aria is genuinely remarkable. Extremely communicative and does some stunning work. He is by far the best contractor I have worked with. I have used him for both personal and business needs.

Aria was first introduced to me by my friend 4 years ago and he has been my go-to-handyman ever since. He’s very smart and reliable. I’m very confident to give him jobs from changing a faucet to figure out a not light up garden light (not due to a broken bulb). He’s professional and has great work manners. He always clean up the worksites. I introduced him to many of my friends and they all highly praised him.

We asked for Aria's services to wall mount our TV, and also some other move in tasks. He finished all tasks cleanly and also gave us some good advice about picking out items for our house.
