I was very impressed by the knowledge and professionalism with which Monteros presented themselves. From the first call I made, to reminder notifications till the visit, to the follow up after, their service was impeccable. I would highly recommend them.

This is a company I'm putting in my files for all future heating and AC issues. I know they ran into issues with our old condo, but they solved everything, finished on time, and were great to work with. And, we can't say enough about our new Mitsubishi mini-split.

AC was not cooling...so a guy from another company came and quoted $1100 to get me back n running. . Unhappy with his suggestion, we called Montero's for a 2nd opinion immediately after the ripoff guy left. Though It's possible a more long term fix may be necesssary.... they got the AC cooling again. !!! Yay ! Let me just say the cost was not even a fraction of a fraction of what the other guy quoted. I was not charged for the service call!!. WHAT? I know right?! Who does that? Was it my charm and personality?? Hah. I am so happy to see a smart and honest company investing in the long term future by providing great customer service. They have gained my loyalty. They are so nice and helpful I will not call any other company for my AC and Heating issues and I will certainly refer them to anyone I know that needs it.

I had them install a new furnace and air conditioning unit over the summer. Great price and great service. I would highly recommend them to anyone. If I could give 10 stars I would. They completed the job when they said they would and they were very clean. You wont be disappointed. Very pleased with their service and knowledge.

Claudio was very knowledgeable and resolved our A/C issue quickly. He is honest and cares about his customers. We will be using his services in the future.

I highly recommend Monteros Heating & Air. My furnace started making a loud knocking noise at startup, and Claudio was able to come out to visit my house on the same business day as my initial call. He helped me to debug what was going on with my furnace, and he figured out that my newly installed thermostat was configured to control the fan instead of leaving that to the HVAC unit. The fix was simply changing this setting.

He also explained why this setting was causing the noise, and I now have a better understanding how my furnace works. He also refused to accept any payment for this consultation, despite having taken the time to drive to my house at the end of his workday. Thank you Claudio and Monteros Heating and Air for helping me resolve this issue very quickly!

These guys are great! They did everything in their power to get the issue fixed and were very responsive in the process. I've had this issue with my AC for the longest time and another vendor had no clue what was wrong with it. These guys came in and identified the issue quickly and came up with solutions to address it!

Technician came out for regular maintenance call to ensure we were prepared for the summer. He was friendly and showed me common issues that may happen with the heater that I could fix my self and save a service call. He took the time to show and explain what was wrong before he fixed it.

We were extremely impressed by Monteros Heating and Air. They let us know when they were on their way, were on time, fixed the problem quickly, and were clearly very knowledgeable about both installation and repair of A/C and heating systems. We will definitely be using Monteros for all our future A/C and heating service needs!

My furnace was not working and my grandpa had used sears all his life so I called sears to come out and repair it. It cost $60 for him to just come out. When the sears guy got to my house he looked at the furnace (which is old) for about 10mins and told me it would be hard to fix it, but that he would have to make a call. He went to his car and made the call, only to come back to tell me it was "too old" to fix. The part that needed to be replaced was not available anymore. Not knowing anything about furnaces I just agreed. I was told I needed a new furnace and the sears guy came over to quote me on a new one. I wanted a second opinion so I called Monteros, and asked if he could come by and quote me on a new furnace as well. Appointment set he came over and I explained my problem, he was there to quote me but he spent time attempting to fix it instead of trying to get me to buy a new one. Within 1 hour he had it working again, and suggested that the part that was not working 100% could be replaced if he could find it. I agreed and he made the call, finding the part. Waited for the part to arrive and he installed it. Now I can be sure that during these cold times my heater will work.

Monteros deserves my highest possible recommendation! My 28-year-old gas furnace stopped working; on 9/26 (Wed), I called Monteros and got an appointment for the next day at 11:00. Then I received both text and email confirmation along with the name of the technician. I also received another text before his arrival; Mr. Alex Hansen arrived on time within the specified 30-minute window. He diagnosed correctly, replaced the main mother board and fixed the problem within 20 minutes. He also advised me to insulate certain exposed wires. His service charge is 34% lower than an outrageous $725 quote I received yesterday from another company's technician who did not have the board with him (i.e. he needed to order it and come a second time had I approved the work and paid an advance deposit). Mr. Hansen: you are honest and professional; Thank you!

I am very happy with the service. Claudio the owner came and inspected my heater that would shut off frequently. He diagnosed the problem to be a faulty sensor, and replaced it the same day for $156. He is very honest and knowledgeable, and the price is very reasonable.

A previous HVAC company misdiagnosed the problem and quoted $500 for fixing or $4000 for replacing the furnace!!

Very prompt, diagnosed the issue right away and reasonably priced. They were able to give me an appointment the next day and this was in the middle of a heatwave. The technician was nice and even gave me a crash course in air conditioning 101. Would definitely recommend this company over all others.

Our AC went out during a hot spell. Tried the folks who installed the system but didn’t get a call back. Tried another firm... booked for weeks. Luckily I called Monteros. Alex cane out the next day, fixed it in an hour, was super nice, and now we have AC. My Mom happened to be there and made s point of getting the company’s Number. Also, Monteros sent both email and text ahead of appt so you knew it was on their books and sent a text letting me know that Alex was on his way (even though he was on tome). The whole experience was efficient, effective, professional, and friendly. Super happy to know Monteros is there when we need hvac help!!

This is the second time that I have used Monteros. In the summertime, my air conditioner stopped working and yesterday my thermostat was unresponsive and heat would not turn on. They are very professional and managed to schedule me into a very busy schedule. Excellent value. I would recommend them for all your heating and cooling needs.

Michelle, Claudio, Rodney were all super courteous and prompt! From the best quote (Michelle) to inspection (Claudio) to start of installation (Rodney) in just 24 hours!! They answered ton of questions and provided ample details. Claudio even provided solutions and estimates for new AC installs. Finally, Rodney handled the existing hackjob that caused tons of extra work with a strong can do attitude.

Competitors were talking about installs of more than a week out and charging much more.

I was searching Yelp for someone who could provide me with a zoning system quote. I utilized Yelp's "Get a Quote" feature and received a response within a few minutes. While Claudio provided an basic scaled quote, he indicated he needed to perform a visual inspection for an accurate quote. Since he offered a free quote, I called his office and scheduled an appointment with Michelle, who was very friendly and accommodating with my schedule.
Claudio arrived on time and quickly began his assessment. He also asked me why I wanted a zoning system and offered a very insightful understanding of how the system works and expectations. Additionally, his quoted price is thus far, the best received to date.
He’s an ultimate professional who's very courteous and kind. I will hire his company for my zoning system placement.
