We had a great experience with Sean going over the details of our pool design and pricing. Sean was prompt in contacting us and arranging a Google meet up, then he spent two hours showing us our virtual design. He went over all the details and answered all our questions.

We had been considering a complete renovation of our backyard for a few years and particularly figuring out if we could put in a pool big enough to be worth it given our backyard size and shape. After seeing Jesse's projects on HGTV a few times, my wife figured it wouldn't hurt checking him out for our project.

I immediately assumed that anyone on TV would be overpriced and/or too interested in other projects to really care about ours. Jesse put my concerns about his interest level to rest in our initial consultation and through multiple revisions in the design process.

Once we had a design we loved that took into account our goals, it was clear he genuinely listened to our priorities and feedback even though he has a strong artistic vision for his projects. I love that he can balance his taste and our project needs to create compelling results for us!

He bid the design including lots of detail for each item and at that point I could compare specific lines against costs from other projects we've done and prior vendors to see that his prices were very reasonable for what we were doing.

We gave the greenlight days before COVID hit, and despite permit challenges at the city due to the pandemic and everything else that happened in 2020, Jesse's team (Russ, Joel, Francisco, and crew) got our project done with a minimum of delays and did a fantastic job.

Almost as important to me after all the other projects we've done with contractors over the years, when the inevitable challenges arose on a project this complex, Jesse and team handled directly and professionally with a minimum of stress for us.

Using Calimingo for our back yard Reno/ design was a very good decision- we had a few other temping bids but ultimately went with Calimingo- we worked with One of their very talented designers Steve , who blew our mind away with the design. Nailed it on the first go! The construction crew were respectful and despite a few hurtles with HOA and city- they were able to get our project completed. Calimingo Pools has truly been a transformative partner in creating beautiful and functional outdoor spaces for us. They have designed and built two pools for our family and are currently working on our new pool in Texas. You might have even heard my husband‘s voiceover on Calimingo’s social media recently.

The excitement of envisioning a pool that will be a central part of our lives was paired with the daunting nature of the construction process. We are so happy with the result we got from Calimingo on our pool and yard. It really transformed the space from a bland concrete space we spent no time in to a beautiful entertaining area we enjoy as often as possible. The ambience from the water wall even improved the feel of being inside our home. Their crews were always professional and as clean as possible for such a major construction project right outside our living space. Like any large undertaking, you will have to pay attention to the details throughout to make sure you’re on the same page, as there will be tons of decisions to make after the renderings are made. As long as you communicate and trust the process, you are going to love the outcome and the value you get.

Calimingo completely transformed both our backyard and front yard, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. We spent a couple of months working with their designer to plan every detail, pool placement, the sitting and lounge areas, wood deck for sunbeds, full tile installation, front steps, and a beautifully designed privacy wall. What impressed us most is that the final result looks exactly like the 3D renderings we were shown in the design stage. What we envisioned is exactly what they delivered.

Miguel was the key person throughout construction, and we cannot say enough about him. He and his team worked incredibly hard, and Miguel was always on top of every detail, responsive, friendly, and reachable at all times. His communication gave us full confidence throughout such a large project.

As with any major build, some unforeseen issues came up during construction, but the Calimingo team and Jessie showed their experience immediately. They addressed challenges quickly, professionally, and without disrupting the schedule or compromising quality.

Calimingo is premium-priced, but we truly believe you get what you pay for craftsmanship, organization, strong project management, and exceptional results. Each week they sent us a clear update outlining what work would be completed, percentage progress, and payment breakdown. They followed the timeline carefully and even finished ahead of schedule. All city inspections passed smoothly with no issues.

Our outdoor space is now a dream, elegant, functional, and beautifully executed. We highly recommend Calimingo for anyone seeking high-end, well-managed pool and landscape construction, especially if you want a project delivered exactly as designed.
