We decided to Hire a private Inspector for our New construction home before our 1 year warranty runs out. After many companies to choose from we went with Good Life Inspections. They did not disappoint from the very beginning of booking an inspector to come out to the time we received our detailed report. Inspector Alfredo Tellez was our inspector he showed up on time, with a 30 min before arrival text message of his ETA , which is very rare lately. After completing his inspection we were informed that we will have our inspection report the next business day which would be a Monday. Inspection was on Friday. By Sunday afternoon a very detailed inspection report was in my inbox already. Very satisfied customer, highly recommend them . And will go with Good Life for any other house/ construction needs in the future.

This review is specifically in regards to Inspector Tim. Termite inspection and extermination is overwhelming, to say the least. I contacted at least three different Pest companies for a quote. Being that I am a landlord, efficient and quick responses are often appreciated. Tim was very thorough with his inspection and treatment recommendations. He took the time to answer my questions and concerns. He went out of his way to contact the local subcontractor/Fumigator because he knew I would be traveling within the next few days and needed to make a final decision. The Fumigator literally showed up the same afternoon! I waited over at least 5 business days to hear back from the other two companies and their subcontractor, often initiating the calls. However, with Tim, I never had to put in extra work. He is quick with text communication and makes himself available, even during early and late hours, to ensure a smooth process. He returned to the property and made sure my tenants understood the process of Fumigation and provided them with bags to keep their things safe. One company said I would have to directly communicate and coordinate with the Fumigator- which I found odd since I am the paying customer and paying the Pest company a fee for ??? It was very obvious from start to end that Tim genuinely cares about the customer and is an expert at what he does. Thank you, Tim, for all that you did. You are the reason why I chose Good Life Inspections.

Mike Marsh inspected both the home I was selling and the one I was buying, and he did an excellent job in both cases. He pointed out issues that would have been very difficult for a non-inspector to catch. He was also flexible and willing to reschedule when the home wasn’t ready on the originally planned day. Great service—well worth the money.

I cannot in good conscience recommend this company after having them complete our home after our house fire back in 2023. We moved back in April of 2025 and have been having condensation issues in our attic. We called them to address this in December 2025 when we first noticed water dripping from our bathroom fan vent and went up to the attic to see condensation all over. They sent someone over to throw fans up there to dry our attic out, but that has been it as far as any communication from them. We are now stuck with these fans to run to keep the condensation from ruining our new roof and cause mold growth, which has been wonderful for our electricity bill. It is now almost April and no one has reached out to fix this after my husband has been calling and leaving voicemails.

If you only read the first few lines of this review, here’s all you need to know: if GoodLife comes up as an option for your construction or restoration project, stop searching and hire them. It will be the best decision you make.

Memorial Day weekend 2025 was a disaster at our home. We returned from a morning out to find most of our downstairs flooded from a ruptured dishwasher drain line. The insurance company came the next day, ripped everything out, and left us with nothing. When their adjuster finally showed up, his estimate was less than one-third of the actual cost. I’m no contractor, but I knew this was going to be a fight—and that the insurance company would try to nickel-and-dime us instead of doing the right thing.

Like anyone would, I turned to Google. After reading countless reviews, one name kept rising to the top: GoodLife Restoration. That’s how I met Mark Kobrya. From our very first conversation, I knew I was in good hands. He listened with genuine compassion, was upfront about the challenges ahead, and promised to fight for me as if it were his own mother’s home. He lived up to every word—working tirelessly until we had full approval to begin rebuilding.

Once construction started, I was introduced to Tim Konoplich. Don’t let his age fool you—this guy has more construction management talent in one finger than I could hope for in a lifetime. Planning with him was effortless. He took our existing kitchen design and suggested small but brilliant changes that completely transformed the final result. We were so impressed that we even paid extra for additional projects beyond what insurance covered.

As for the construction crews themselves—they were nothing short of remarkable. Every single person who came through our door was kind, respectful, motivated to get the job done right, and left the house cleaner each day than when they arrived. Our home is pure chaos with three teenage boys and an energetic lab puppy, but they worked seamlessly around it all.

The project took four long months, but the final result exceeded every expectation we could have imagined. Simply put, our home is better than ever.

I can say with absolute confidence: I will never call another contractor. GoodLife has earned not just a customer, but a raving fan for life.

    6 MONTH POST WORK PRAISE:
I don’t even know where to start with this, because it honestly says more about Goodlife Construction than any review I could write about the original project.

About six months after our job was completed, I noticed a crack in the stone on our countertop. To be completely clear: this was not caused by Goodlife Construction. It was just one of those things that happens either in manufacturing, transport, or a variety of other ways. But I figured I’d at least make a call and see if there was anything that could be done.

Here’s where they completely separated themselves from just about every contractor out there.

They didn’t dodge the call. They didn’t redirect me somewhere else. They didn’t give me a “sorry, that’s not on us” response (which would have been totally fair). Instead, they responded immediately, came out to take a look, and then went above and beyond to make it right; with minimal disruption to our home and our schedule.

    Who does that?

That kind of service is incredibly rare. It’s easy for a company to look great when everything is new, clean, and running smoothly. But the true test of a business is what happens months later, when there’s nothing to gain and no obligation to step in and they still choose to take care of you.

That’s exactly what Goodlife Construction did.

This wasn’t just good customer service. This was character. This was pride in their work. This was a company that clearly values people over transactions.

If you’re looking for a contractor and trying to figure out who you can trust with your home, your time, and your money… this is it. These are your people.

Highly recommend these guys. We used them after we had some damage due to the huge winter last year. They were amazing to work with and made a stressful situation so much more doable. They were all so great answering any and all questions. They dealt with our insurance so I didn’t have to. The work that was done was better than any work we’ve had done on our house yet. We will be using these guys for any future needs.

We had a garage fire after owning for only 1 month and we put all of our trust in GoodLife restoration company to fix our home. I'll start with that. This is not my trade of work, I was constantly pointing out flaws and things being missed. In my eyes a customer should not be telling a trained professional how to do their job! I would bring up my concerns to the foreman on my job and I felt like they were disregarded like I didn't know what I was talking about. The whole time I was told it will be a quick and easy fix. Four months later we are still not done with mitigating the smoke odor and yet my house has already got new insulation in the attic along with the walls and it was never smoke sealed!!! There are also things like walls that had already been approved to open up to see if the smoke damaged that area and it was completely disregarded. Another question I had asked is if the wiring in my house was ok and GoodLife Restoration said its not a concern and not to worry about it. After some research it is a fire hazard to spray the wires with smoke seal as GoodLife did in my home!! Ive had enough with fires for 1 lifetime, I do not need my contractor leaving me with another opportunity to go through this again. With warm spring weather now here when I walk in the home all I smell is smoke! I feel completely taken advantage of!! I was supposed to be planning for a wedding with my fiancé and now I cant put my efforts where they belong because I'm worried my home might not ever get fixed!!!!

I want to pass along some info on my go to company, GoodLife Restoration. I am Real Estate Broker and own a Property Management Company. This is a very competitive industry, meaning I have a lot of competition. I need to offer the very best service which means I expect the same from my Vendors. I manage a local multiunit property that has been struggling with a water leak issue for months. The owner tried to contact a number of contractors to trouble shoot and correct the issue. The leak was creating significant surface fungal growth which is a serious issue when we have tenants to keep safe and dry. I contacted the team at GoodLife Restoration. They had a specialist visit the property and perform inspections to isolate the source of the water leak. They found the water issue to originate in not one but three areas. A number of plumbing leaks has been addressed in the past. The water was found to be passing through a tenant units tub surround. GoodLife set up a proper containment system, dried the area while providing a water mapping report, they cleaned and treated the structural wood members, water proofed the area and did the reconstruction to the bathroom. The tenants loved the quality of the work and the professionalism of the team. And the building owner loved the price. I will not hesitate to call GoodLife Restoration in the future. They are the best!!!

Good Life Construction and team Todd, Allan and Vadim were supportive and there for me when it counted. Good Life did a complete remodel of my 3400sf home and everything turned out great, including new flooring, new kitchen and bathrooms, and I would strongly recommend them.

I recently purchased a home in Placer County that needed some work. I am a first time home owner and really have no experience in construction or reconstruction. The home had a number of electrical shortcomings that were outlined in a home inspection report. The report only identified the hazards but offered no solutions. There were a number of other issues identified in the report to include the fact that the home appeared to have an illegal conversion at the garage. I did not fully understand the ramifications of these findings. I reached out to a number of tradespeople and ended up at Goodlife Fire/Restoration. A team leader visited the property to do a quick review of my issues and made a number of recommendations. I was connected with their Project Manager Foreman who spent a few hours at the house assessing the house and it’s issues. He reassured me that Goodlife Fire/Restoration had the expertise to identify and address each one of my issues. The team at Goodlife has gone out of their way to communicate the work scope, pricing and plan. Their team communicates with me weekly and has made me comfortable with all of the homes issues. They are even addressing my illegal conversion while dealing with a number of electrical and plumbing issues. I was directed to Goodlife from a friend in the community that had the same experience with them. If you want honest communication, great pricing and experts in home reconstruction you should reach out to these guys ASAP.
