Harry Clark did a major install in my 1928 house in Oakland, which had no existing central heating and so required not only a new electric heat pump unit on the roof and an air handler and humidifier in the basement but new ducting to and registers in nearly every room. Their work was excellent and the price reasonable and they were resourceful in overcoming hurdles presented by the building and responsive to any troubleshooting needed during and afterward. I highly recommend them.

Don Marshall came to evaluate a necessary repair for our furnace within a few days of my call to the Harry Clark office. He recommended replacing some of our old furnace duct instead of simply taping the duct joints as another company had recommended. His price was similar to the less extensive bid & included new installation. We accepted his bid & the work was scheduled shortly afterward. Two guys finished the replacement in a day & left the area very clean. We noticed better heating immediately. We were very impressed with all of our interactions with this company & will use them for all of our future heating & cooling upgrades. A excellent experience!

Too bad I can't give six stars...they are that good. On Mon AM the Harry Clark dispatcher called me in response to my Saturday plea for help via their website. It was a weekend then; so they were closed. But they contacted me first thing that Mon.

At 1215 that same Monday, a Harry Clark rep knocked on my door and went off to find out why my hot water heater was no longer heating my water. Took him, maybe, five minutes to find that the computer that controls the heater was malfunctioning ...sending all sorts of error data.

The heater needed replacing. I opted to replace it with the same type I already had, but upgraded. I also opted to replace the 24/7 recycle pump with one that would be on only from 7AM to 9PM. That reduced the amount of gas burned during the low usage hours.

About two hours later, four Harry Clark trucks and a team of plumbers were removing the old heater and installing the new one and its recycle pump. In about four hours the new hot water heater and pump were up and running. In sum, from when I got the first call that AM until the Harry Clark crew packed up and left me with a heater replacement was about eight hours.

In addition to being extraordinarily fast and efficient, they were always communicating with me. Kevin, the job foreman, constantly kept me apprised of what they were doing and what came next. These guys are good...highly recommend them.

NOTE: they don't do weekends; so they're not good for emergency repairs over the weekends.

It was a no brainer for me to call this company for my toilet repair and to reconnect the stopper to the sink.
Toilet repair was great. The company representative even recommended the product to dissolve the calcification inside the toilet. Great.
The stopper, after being disconnected for some months, was once again connected below the sink and it worked. Yay.
A month after the visit, the stopper became disconnected again.
I contacted the company, and was told that I would have to pay again for a person to come out to fix the stopper.
I took this to mean they do not stand behind their work. No one more surprised than me.
Now I have to find another vendor to replace the electrical heaters throughout my condo.
Very, very surprised at this result, from what I had considered a trusted name in the plumbing business.
You might ask for written guarantees when engaging them.
Unhappy in Oakland. And so very disappointed.

They backed into my parked car on a red curb. When approached they acted like I was a bother. Asked for the driver over 3 times and then he tells me “oh he parked and it rolled back “ no sorry, no apologies. Rude team. Wouldn’t suggest for anything.

Rey and his team did a great job installing a new heat pump to replace an ineffective furnace at my new home. I got a few bids for the job and LCPH was more competitive than the rest, including the extra work of moving the location of my heating unit from a closet to the crawl space so it takes up less room and is quieter (Rey's suggestion). They were efficient and professional and got the job done quickly and done right. Rey was available to answer all my many questions. I will not hesitate to call Rey again when I need to replace my water heater in a few years.

We had a heat pump installed. We are very happy with the service. They were reliable, very professional, and left the work areas cleaner than they found them. They also respond quickly to questions and made the process very easy.

He came early and was immediately able to locate and fix the problem. He was very clean and professional with his work and left no mess. He serviced our tankless water heater at our rental property and replaced the kitchen sink at my own home

Rey has done a few large jobs on my house: replaced all our old water pipes; more recently the hot water heater. Also smaller jobs and we've been very happy with his work.

Rey has replaced all our galvanized water pipes, the tankless water heater and the main. He is currently replacing the furnace. Very professional, timely and very fairly priced. Rey always goes the extra mile.

We have hired Rey over the years and have always been happy. He did a lot of plumbing on our house when we first moved into our home over ten years ago. We have had many projects over the years and even some emergencies. Old house old pipes. He has always been there for us! Five stars!

Very unprofessional and verbally abusive when things didn't go there way. I will never hire this company if all there employees act like this person he wears glasses and his name is Rey or Ray, I will look for a professional plumbing company, I'm disappointed in Lacayo-Colt

Around 2010 they donated a tankless Noritz water heater to the Redwood Heights Elementary School auction and we bought it. He replaced our water main for a reasonable price and installed the heater in our basement near the shower, freeing up space in the garage. Relocating the washer & dryer in 2013 we built a 1/2 bath there in the garage! The unit has worked well for 12 years, and now we are getting it checked for the first time. I recommend Ray Lacayo and Lacayo-Colt pluming.

The crawl space and detached garage under my home flooded during the recent round of extreme weather. In addition to spending time manually pumping water out of my garage, my furnace went out due to being submerged in water. Despite being incredibly busy with neighbors having similar issues, Rey responded quickly, got my furnace up and running, and put together a sump pump and drainage plan to mitigate future flooding. As soon as we had a dry day, Rey and his efficient and friendly team installed the sump and drainage. For the first time in weeks, I didn't spend time during/after heavy rains pumping water out of my garage - it was dry as a bone! Rey's pricing was very fair and he and his team have been great to work with. I highly recommend this business.

This guy is a total scammer on top of doing terrible work. He screwed up my heating install so bad and when I called him to come out he lost his temper and called me all kinds of names. I Hired a true professional to come out and fix his shoddy work and when I told him the price that Ray charged me, he couldn't believe it. He said that was double what it should have cost. So not only did I pay double, I had to pay a true professional to come and fix the mess he made. He had a strong body odor. To add insult to injury, he bumped into my retaining wall and dented his van when he was leaving. I'm not sure if he has a drinking problem or what. He also left a huge mess behind that I had to clean up. This guy is all bad stay away
