UPDATE on our review: I have to add "great service" to our recommendation. After three years, I sent one text to Dave and he responds within a few minutes and has one of his guys here first thing Monday morning. Wow!

ORIGINAL Review:
We picked Dave and the crew at Waterworks Pool Concepts after interviewing 8 other contractors. Dave's references raved about the level of service from Waterworks and they were right.
We started with a design in mind and Dave refined it and had great suggestions. For instance, he figured out how to get the maximum solar heating area on a small area roof - extending our swimming season.
The construction process was efficient, professional, and respectful of us and our neighbors. We are extremely pleased with how the pool came out.
Two years later, and it still looks like new and there are no problems. We've recommended Waterworks to our neighbors and would recommend them to anyone!

Very reliable and professional dryer vent cleaning company. My dryer was overheating and shutting off early, so I called for help. After weeks of dealing with poor airflow, I called RER Masonry Brick's & Dryer Vent Cleaning Ltd. Conner performed a central air conditioning repair that completely solved the problem. His air conditioner repair service was done with precision, and the air conditioning service left my unit running like new. He also performed dryer vent cleaning, which was long overdue. The dryer vent cleaning cleared out a huge amount of lint. The vent cleaning made my dryer much faster, and the second vent cleaning in the spare laundry unit gave me peace of mind. I truly appreciate Conner’s professionalism and would recommend RER Masonry Brick's & Dryer Vent Cleaning Ltd to anyone.

We contacted them regarding mold removal in a small storage space. The mold remediation services addressed the problem, and mold cleaning improved the area. Trevor also completed dryer vent inspection, dryer vent cleaning, and air duct cleaning. The work was fine, though the visit felt somewhat rushed.

SOLID IMPROVEMENTS did a great job.. planned the work and worked the plan... and under budget too!.

Do NOT even consider doing business with Keith Albano/ Solid Improvements inc.
He is both dishonest, lacks the most basic of contacting skills and common sense.
Keith stained almost 2000 square feet of concrete in our home, he did an incomprehensibly bad job.
After grinding off the original sealer to prepare the floor, he failed to reseal the concrete before staining it! In addition, we paid for 2 colors of stain, he only used 1. Then he applied a very thin coat of top sealer to finish. The floor is cracking, peeling and coming off in chunks to reveal the damage that he did to the sab when he ground it... Literally HOLES from chunks that he ground out of the slab!
This man's work ethics are nonexistent. When we tried to discuss our concerns with him he began yelling and then just never returned to finish the job. I realize that society has changed, there seems to be a lot more liars and thives, but listen to me when I tell you,
" Keith Albano is not a man you want to to business with. He is a Liar and a thief with a serious personality issue and a very volatile temper".
Before you even consider doing business with Keith, message me, come by our home and see the quality of work that he does.
We took him to court , we won.
Then he refused to pay the judgment, that is until I pointed out to him that he lied about us in court and that I was going to tell the people that he associated us with.....
We had a check the next day :-).

In the middle of our job he just disappeared. I called and called Kieth for over a week with no returned call or message. When I finally reached him we set up a time to meet at our home, he was a no show, time after time NO SHOW. When he finally did show it was 10:pm , unannounced and he was drunk, abusive and threatening. Of course to hear him tell it , to the contractors board and to a judge, he's the victim.
Man up Kieth!
Oh yeah.... He lost.

Solid improvements is a fantastic company. I have worked with Keith for over 5 years on multiple projects ranging from retail to home improvement. He produces quality, timely work and keeps his job site clean and orderly. He is easy to reach and prides himself on great work. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a job done

Ron took such great care of our project from start to finish. He has incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail, cares about what is important to us and gives us realistic expectations on the project. We had him do our front door and couldn’t be happier with the whole process.

Great communication from start to finish. On time through every phase of the project, and workers that were very friendly and easy to communicate with.

Worked with Joey and his subs on a difficult correction of sloppy construction, He was always clear and fair. He id excellent work and resolved all the issues others didn't even know where to start. He is responsive, punctual and a pleasure to work with!

BCI was excellent to work with in building a pickleball court at our home in Vista. From the initial conversation on "Is our yard big enough?", to the opening day when the court was finished and ready to play on, BCI was alongside every step of the way.
Scott Mortensen was always on top of every detail and communicated every day on the status, decisions, schedule, etc.
Scott's diligence and cost conscious approach took the normal "STRESS" away and we ended up having a wonderful experience.

I recently moved to the area and needed some remodeling done to my new home in Fallbrook. Several people recommended BCI and I must say, the company exceeded my expectations from start to finish. From helping me find someone to draw the plans and submitting the plans through the county to the beautiful finished outdoor living space with adjacent room addition and attached patio covers to my existing home...BCI was professional, on time and communicated with me when changes needed to be made that impacted the job cost and completion. Top notch is the only way to describe this company. I would hire them again in a second, and I'm now one of their biggest fans.

We hired Boonstra Contruction to build our new dental office at 4110 Oceanside Blvd. They had our 4000 square foot building and Tenant Improvements done in about 9 months from a dirt lot. The project was done perfectly and under the estimate. I would recommend them to anyone that is looking to build in the area and would be happy to show off our office to anyone that wants to come by to see the workmanship.

Joey Boonstra is an exceptionally talented, hardworking, and reliable general contractor. I know you will find his workmanship, creativity, ability to communicate, and attention to detail support this 5 star rating.

In 1998, Joey completed a large master suite addition for us. One of his really good ideas was to install an amazing barrel vaulted ceiling, which is a unique feature in a tract home. Joey quickly demonstrated a remarkable ability to describe and complete each element of the project. Before long, we learned to trust his judgement, timeliness, attention to detail, and the quality of his work. These attributes made the process much simpler, and we still enjoy the finished project!

In 2003, Joey built a 4000 foot spec home for us. Again, he made a complex process very easy. The buyers still love the home and, because Joey was on budget, we made money on the project.

In 2006, Joey also completely remodeled our kitchen. We love the design, functionality and still get compliments from friends and visitors.

On Christmas Eve of 2015, we had a house full of guests, when the water heater failed. Joey dropped everything and installed a tankless water heater that afternoon, which saved our Christmas! Further, he’s helped many of my real estate clients through the years with house problems.

In sum, Joey Boonstra is an amazing general contractor. I highly recommend you use him on your next project!
