Excellent experience. Spent plenty of time with the staff member (even crawled under the house together to hear their thoughts in real time). Spent over an hour going through the recommendations and collaboratively came up with a phased approach to meet our needs and budget. Didn’t feel pressured or upsold on unnecessary work.

After getting consent, just wanted to update this review to give a shout out to Brandie who was the associate who spent so much time and went above and beyond in letting us join in the crawl space as she “thought out loud” and worked with us on the various scenarios to arrive at a plan that met our needs, budget, and timeline.

Roger, and Jorge did a job providing foundational support in one of my rooms. They were organized, knowledgeable, thorough, and very pleasant. Roger explained the process, encouraged questions, and my input. They exhibited excellent customer skills. They also left the space clean. I liked the fact that the field manager came to inspect the work, and made sure I was satisfied with the job before they left.

We had a flooded craw space with lots of moisture, we called Groundworks and they sent David to look at everything and he gave us a excellent price... Foreman Roger is extremely honest and knows exactly what he's doing, he led his crew (Jorge and Juan)to do a beautiful encapsulation and also saving my home from moisture. I highly recommend Groundworks for everything they can handle.

Angel did a fantastic job on a foundation repair for us. The company had the best plan out of all the quotes along with great pricing. He called ahead before showing up and kept me informed along the way. Very knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had. Would definitely use them again.

Very impressed with Groundworks. They quickly and professionally repaired cracks in the garage of our very old home. Their team was responsive and efficient. Communication was top notch. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Five stars isn't enough. The team of Jacob Stephens (foreman), Armando Reyes (co-foreman) and Isaac Valdez (installer) were all great. Highly recommend them for coming up with creative, effective solutions to concrete/masonry cracking and movement.

The entire experience was excellent from the initial consultation to level the foundation which had settled to the completion of the project. The crew was exceptionally professional and easy to work with and the project was completed on schedule and I was completely satisfied.

David from Groundwork’s came to my home and gave me an honest estimate of the work that is needed to repair my brick wall. He took his time and put me in contact with experts to resolve all of my issues. He went above and beyond! He was very polite and took his time to explain the work that is needed in detail. I am looking forward to completing my project with this company!

The entire team at Groundworks was amazing to work with for crawl space encapsulation and foundation repair. Rocco was the certified field inspector who came out to assess the home and provide an estimate. He was incredibly knowledgeable, detailed, caring and kind. The ground works foreman installers were amazing ! Manuel, Emil and Kai were so professional. Not only were they professional but kept their job site clean and were very independent. These guys worked so hard and were very efficient in getting the job completed on time. I would definitely recommend This crew!

All heroes don’t were capes. But I now know three amazing people that do Zachary H. , Micheal H,.and Paul L. Definitely do.

They save us they found a gas leak on the first day. Call the gas company and for everything shut off before it had gotten and could had be deadly. We were able to get a Plumm out to find two major leaks.

Once everything was fixed and cleared. They were back at it with communication, smile, and extremely professional.

They educated us on what was going through the hole installation. The made sure that everything was nice and neat and that now parents won’t have the added health hazard of home that doesn’t support there life goals and healthcare needs.

They also did not know that they absolutely restored faith in contractors and tradesmen. Due to bad experiences with other companies.

My parents are very happy that nearly impossible to hit. They definitely over delivered and we can thank them enough for the best experience in over a decade.

They install was seamless even with hiccup from the gas leaks. They help keep us calm and focused throughout the repair. The gas company was even impressed by the progress they made in the short amount of time before they had to stop.

They were so patient with parents make sure that they understood everything. No matter how many times they were asked the same questions. Reframing their explanations until they grasp it and were comfortable.

They were honest about the solution that work best for my parents house and let us know of any possible problems. And how cherish when people don’t present problem without at least a possible solutions.

In early 2025, I watched the series of videos put out by Mike Rowe on his Youtube channel where he accompanied a Groundworks team on a jobsite and then interviewed Matt Malone, Groundworks' founder. Those videos encouraged me to put Groundworks on my contact list because I knew we would eventually contract them to help us with water and foundation issues for our raised foundation home in southern California. I first met with DALTEN in December 2025 to discuss our areas of concern and receive his inspection. He spent literally hours thoroughly measuring and documenting our home's underbelly before coming to the table to meet with me over his tablet device on which he recorded all the information we needed to make an informed decision in the approach to repairs. Their balanced use of technology and face-to-face discussion was exactly what was needed to effectively communicate with us about the whole process. We signed on that evening to schedule the work. I scheduled with them to start in January 2026. The Groundworks system emailed and texted with me to keep me updated on time of arrival and what to expect throughout the project. On the first day, ROGER, JUAN, and JORGE came to our property right on time and were ready to go within minutes, fully suited up for their mission under our house. Roger projected 4 or 4.5 days for the job completion and he stuck to that; they began Monday and ended Thursday. Dalten and Roger worked to ensure our plan was both achievable and met the engineer's specifications with respect to the leveling beam installation. A modification was made on the fly to rework some of our trenching and the change was easily conducted electronically between the team and me. Roger discussed everything at the end with me over the phone since I was away. He also sent me photos of the finished product. After talking to Jorge, I decided to go under the house with him and Juan for a brief period so he could show me where future electrical would be needed to properly connect the pumps they installed. They were courteous to show me how to safely get into the crawl space and then how to exit. Finally, the guys went above and beyond by informing me about a leak point coming from one of our bathrooms and made recommendations for services outside the scope of their work based on what would be best for us. I cannot praise the Groundworks team enough, a really solid bunch of people who are doing home repair the right way. Thank you guys!

Professional experience started with estimator Brandie , provided us with recommendations and explanation of how concrete patio cracks and sunken areas could be remediated. Then confidence in GW continued with onsite crew Angel & Santos who called ahead day of appt , explained procedure, of drilling & filling, used safety gear, and did impressive “magical’ work as we watched the process. In abt 3 hrs we had “like new” perfectly smooth and leveled patio.!! I would recommend GW for concrete restoration over demolition!

I gotta say Roger and his crew Ricardo and Jorge did a great job fixing my concrete slabs. At first I was skeptical about this polyjacking method but once completed I was very happy and impressed on how well it works and how nice and clean it ended up. They lifted the slabs 2 inches on some areas to match and level with the rest. Very impressed, good job groundworks

Professional, Honest, and Hardworking Crew!
Our floors were sagging dramatically, so we called Groundworks. They sent Michael out to inspect the issues, and after he took the elevations, we initially decided on four IntelliJacks and signed the same day.
Roughly two weeks later, the crew arrived ready to work. The foreman, Roger, and crew members Juan and Santos did a thorough walkthrough and realized the home actually needed more than the original plan to be truly stable. We agreed on installing 24 feet of beam and six total jacks to support the entire house.
They gave us a great price for the additional work, so we went for it. The crew even stayed late to ensure there wouldn't be any further delays with the project. These guys are amazing! I highly recommend Roger’s crew and Groundworks for any home foundation repair. Thank you, Groundworks!

I had an excellent experience working with Mike, the CFI, and Oscar, the Foreman, from Groundworks. From start to finish, they were professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough.

Mike took the time to carefully inspect everything and clearly explain the issues and recommended solutions. He was honest, patient, and made sure I fully understood the process without feeling pressured. His expertise and attention to detail gave me complete confidence in the project.

I am beyond impressed with the service provided by the Groundworks team. After discovering standing water and excessive moisture in my crawlspace, I reached out for a consultation. From the initial inspection to the final installation, the experience was seamless and highly professional.
The Consultation & Planning:
Ishmael conducted a thorough evaluation of the site and provided a clear, comprehensive recommendation for a perimeter drainage system, a sump pump with battery backup, and dual dehumidifiers. The value offered was excellent, and the scheduling process with Nikki was efficient, with a crew dispatched within just two weeks.

The crew arrived punctual, professional, and ready to work. I was particularly impressed by Foremen Roger and Shane, who took the initiative to redesign the drainage layout on-site to better suit my crawlspace's specific needs—integrating four total pumps at no additional cost for hardware.

Despite Upland's notoriously difficult terrain—including unforeseen large boulders—Foremen Roger and Jacob, alongside the dedicated crew (Juan, Santos, Armando, Isaac, Paul, Javier, and the Adrian), managed the project with incredible skill. The field inspectors David and Alan also stepped in to assist with trenching and clearing obstructions, ensuring the job was completed within the week.

Groundworks went above and beyond to protect my home. Their attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right is outstanding. I highly recommend them to any homeowner in the area and will certainly utilize their services for future projects.

Groundworks exceeded my expectations on the amount of lift they were able to achieve on my single family home and also their level of customer service.

One part of my home had an approximate 5” elevation difference from level. You could definitely feel and see a significant sloping when you walked into the house. Groundworks Foreman (Manuel Conejo) told me at project start he would strive for max lift, but also advised me that 5” might not be possible with structure damage, etc. i appreciated his honesty and communication! In the end… we got 4” of lift! I was and am so incredibly happy. Now when you enter the house, there is no apparent sloping or elevation change. It’s like a normal level house!

All throughout the two week process that was longer than normal due to heavy rains, Manuel kept me abreast of project status via texts and phone calls. The communication was great!

Manuel Conejo, Edgar Gonzalez and Roberto Brito Santana are a great team and did an amazing job installing 19 push piers around my home and then injecting foam to fill voids.

I highly recommend GW and this specific team. This was a best in class experience for me. I did my due diligence talking to four different companies and am super happy that I chose Groundworks. They were definitely the right choice.

Angel M. And his team were great. They arrived on time, were knowledgeable and efficient. Communication on the plan, many updates throughout and actually finished ahead of schedule. Also, Rocco was always available to answer any questions as the came up through the planning phase and during work. Our foundation is now secure and we enjoyed working with Groundworks. Working with Groundworks has been absolutely fantastic. The Field Inspector Alen was extremely informative and understanding of the issues we were having. He was able to work with us on getting the right project and details set for our needs.

Foreman Roger and Crewmember Juan were punctual, professional, and fast while doing a fantastic job. They gave me the same warning Alen did about my pavers possibly lifting. I had not issue because I’d much rather fix that than have my previously expensive project go in the trash and slide down our hillside.

Instead, the finished project came out better than expected, rarely any lifting, only one spot where the foam came up but I’ve covering that area anyways, and very clean and thoroughly produced.

I cannot recommend Groundworks enough at this point and will definitely be using them in the future.
