The owner, Josh Updike, bid my pluming job after his protege fixed my AC in the process of diagnosing it and, I enjoyed every element of that interaction. They had no competition on price in my region (that i could get in touch with). They were there very quickly. They are a small, third generation, local company that (i know for sure, this generation of) is very service oriented and, had the skills to provide it. This is the kind of company I feel good about having done business with and, they can provide all that at nearly half of any other bid I got. Wow! HVAC, plumbing (gas and water); I can do nothing but recommend these fine Americans.

I was very pleased with the install of our new furnace and air conditioner last year. The salesman and installers were very friendly and professional. However, follow up service is less than to be desired. The furnace worked great, but the ac unit does not cool the house. They told me when they finished the install that they would come back to check if it needed more charge. They never returned. I called numerous occasions throughout the summer to be told they would call me for an appointment, but it never happened. I gave up for last year and was uncomfortable in my home for most of the season. This year, I called a month before it got hot to set up an appointment. They said they were going to call me back on a Monday. Monday came and no call. Someone called me on a Wednesday when I was already out of town saying they had my appointment set for then. I never had received a phone call to set up anything. So, we rescheduled. I was told they would be there Friday at 3pm. Friday came and my husband and I waited all day until 7pm. No show; no phone call. Monday came and still no phone call. My husband called Tuesday. Was told the repair tech would call Wednesday morning. We explained we needed a clean and check because it wasn't cooling properly. Was told the unit was brand new so there shouldn't be an issue and that they guy would call Thursday morning to schedule an appointment. Thursday arrived with no call. Called Thursday evening and was told there is a long list ahead of me and that they will contact me when they can. I've been trying since last summer. Shouldn't I be towards the beginning of this list? I understand staff shortages and when the weather gets hot they are extremely busy. I'm willing to wait my turn because that is only fair. I'm just concerned I will never be on that list. After being jilted the entire summer last year, I don't want to wait to "see" if they will call to set up an appointment that they may show up to. My ac has been running nonstop for the past 2 days set at 69 degrees. The current air temp in my house is 76 degrees and climbing. I think that constitutes as something wrong.

Called this morning because my faucet was leaking alot of water. The woman asked when I was available and told me she would call me back. When they called me back they gave a time and the gentleman was here at that time. Prompt and polite. It did not take him long to take care of my problem. One of my biggest pet peeves is people not on time and being unprofessional. I am so glad this was not the case. You now have a permanent customer in me.

After my portable units could no longer handle it, I proceeded with the installation of AC. The crew installed a central AC that was tied up with my existing furnace and ensured that all the ducts were checked. The house now cools off much faster and it is much more pleasant without noisy machines in all the windows.
