Reviews of local pros in Pacifica, California

Kieran and his team are top notch professionals and if you are wondering who you should hire, stop here and hire Broad Oaks Construction. Kieran worked with me and my architect to completely redo my primary bathroom down to the studs. We were able to capture extra space, add a motorized skylight and make the bathroom feel twice as big. He is comfortable working with all budgets and has worked with high-end designers in San Francisco, so he was able to bring that knowledge to my project even though I did not hire a designer myself. My bathroom including a custom white oak floating vanity with a marble top, white Fireclay tile throughout the shower, and custom mirrors with mounted lights. He is flexible, extremely responsive and cares about the details as much as I do. His crew is also kind, clean and considerate. If you hire Kieran you won’t be disappointed.

Kieran and the Broad Oaks guys are terrific: responsive, detail-oriented, skilled, and thorough. Kieran is honest about what a project will entail and whether it's worth it. He gives thoughtful advice but isn't pushy. His crew shows up on time and does a great job, and Kieran always follows up to make sure we're happy with how the project turned out. We really love working with Kieran and look forward to hiring his team for many more projects!

Kieran and Broad Oaks renovated my entryway and staircase. They demo-ed the stairs and flooring, installed tile and electrical, painted the stairs and helped install wallpaper.

Kieran is a real pleasure to work with. He kept the project moving and constantly checked in on the progress. He’s a true professional and was very upfront and honest and fees and costs. He also helped me find ways to save money and firmly stayed on budget. And he’s really funny! I highly recommend him and Broad Oaks.

I can't say enough great things about Kieran and his team. They helped us with three projects so far including an impromptu bathroom remodel and kitchen lighting remodel. We couldn't be happier with the results. He is friendly, responsive and always oversees what is going on with the projects. He makes sure to follow up with us constantly to make sure everything is going well. We will definitely keep coming up with more projects for Kieran, because we love working with him, and love how are new bathroom and kitchen look.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Broad Oaks Construction to remove a wet bar and all associated parts. From start to finish, the experience was top-notch.

Kieran and team were incredibly timely - completing the job within a week of our initial exchange. As anyone who has ever undertaken a home improvement project knows, it's not uncommon for costs to spiral out of control. But Kieran was transparent about price breakout from the outset, and stuck to it. This gave me peace of mind and made the whole process much less stressful. Whether I had a question or concern, they were always just a phone call away. Their responsiveness and professionalism made me feel like I was in good hands throughout the entire process.

Overall, I would highly recommend Broad Oaks construction to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled general contractor. They exceeded my expectations in every way, and I couldn't be happier with the end result.

Couldn’t recommend working with Kieran and his team more - they made our first home renovation a seamless experience. From the start, Kieran gave us honest feedback on our budget/scope and set the tone for a professional, reliable five-month project. The work was top-notch, stayed on budget (!), and went smoothly. Thanks to Kieran’s clear communication and dependability, the process wasn’t stressful, and we couldn’t be happier with our updated home.

We worked with Kieran and his team at Broad Oaks on two separate projects. They were always professional, responsive and flexible. We are very pleased with the quality of the work as well. We would highly recommend them.

Broad Oaks Construction was recommended to me by a friend who renovated their bathroom + kitchen, when I was looking to update our garage/laundry room. Kieran was organized, easy to work with, transparent, responsive and has a great eye for detail. I would give him 10/10 stars if I could!

Kieran and his team were amazing! They did a full remodel on our kitchen and bathroom. It was great working with him. He was quick to respond to our call/emails, would call us almost daily with updates (we weren't living at the remodel site), and provided us with a wealth of knowledge about the best vendors to use in the Bay Area. I also really appreciated that he came in right on budget. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a general contractor for their project!

From the moment we met Kieran, he always made us feel supported and taken care of. It was our first time remodeling anything and he was extremely communicative and always available for questions, comments, or feedback. It is very obvious that he is as passionate about your project as you are, and his fine attention to detail will ensure nothing goes unnoticed.

We started by not really having a great vision of how to make what we wanted a reality, and he came in with ideas, helped us source materials, and always had our best interests in mind. He was able to advise timelines to ensure our project would continue moving ahead, despite the supply chain issues that everyone faces. He also provided ample documentation and spreadsheets to help us keep track of what we needed, what we had, and to ensure that we were keeping on budget.

He is extremely personable, as is his whole team of subcontractors. If we had any concerns or issues, we were able to easily address them and he handled them immediately.

We still can’t believe how well our vision became a reality and can confidently say Kieran was a catalyst to make that happen. We would recommend Kieran to any and all of our family and friends and we plan on working with him on future projects of our own!

Kieran was an absolute dream to work with from start to finish; we truly cannot recommend him more highly. He and his team handled a gut remodel of our kitchen and bathroom. From our initial meetings to set out scope and expectations, Kieran helped guide us in understanding what was and was not possible given the both the physical constraints of our condo and our budget. He was always available for any and all questions and really helped us form the vision for our remodel. Once construction started, he kept us updated with daily reports and pictures and set realistic expectations for the progress. Because he was so thorough in planning from the start, we didn't have any major surprises. Even when there were a couple of hiccups (like the counter guy somehow sending the complete wrong material), he worked quickly to resolve the issue so there was no added delay. Amazingly, the projects were finished on time and on budget and the results are outstanding. Kieran really knows the ins and outs of every step of the remodel process - from planning to material selection to subcontractors to navigating the impossibly complex world of permitting in SF. We would absolutely work with him again and have recommended him to everyone we know.

Kieran and the entire Broad Oaks Construction Team have been amazing to work with. We have been so impressed with their work, project management, professionalism and sense of urgency to help us move our project forward quickly. I first reached out to Kieran to redo our new house kitchen island and lighting in the kitchen. He helped us find the right cabinet makers, electricians and stone. He also helped us change all the hardware across our kitchen and TV media. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and are actively working with Kieran to do a few more projects at our house. I would absolutely recommend him and his amazing crew.

Just completed a project with Broad Oaks Construction and it was truly the best experience. Kieran and his team were responsive from the start and continued to make me, the designer and home owner, feel completely at ease. Their communication and transparency throughout the project made for a successful completion. Kieran's expertise in high-end residential building and construction plus my vision for design created a spectacular home. His standards are high and will ensure that he has the best people working on your project. Look no further and give Board Oaks a call!

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Kieran on a full powder room remodel, which included a shower. Kieran worked closely with us and our designer to ensure the bathroom was completed as envisioned. There were lots of complicating aspects: a hanging marble sink, a hanging toilet with an in-wall tank, a custom window, Venetian plaster, and 3 different kinds of tiles.

Kieran’s attention to detail, professional communication, high quality of subcontractors, and project management sets him apart from other contractors that we had previously worked with. We felt that he treated this project as if it was a remodel for his own home. Kieran is genuine, has high integrity, and is true to his word.

We are much more likely to embark on other remodeling and an ADU because of Kieran. Working with him gives us confidence that our project will be completed to spec, and that we will have a pleasant experience with him, his staff, and his subcontractors.

The only downside to recommending Kieran is that he’ll be more likely to be busy the next time we need to work with him :) We have absolutely zero reservations in recommending Kieran. And we are picky clients that have very high standards on construction quality, project management, and communication. Kieran is perfect and we are so lucky we were introduced to him.

Kieran and his team worked on several exterior projects on our house, including installing new cable railings and supports for our deck, replacing a small entryway deck and designing/building an outdoor shower. This was our first major contracting project as new homeowners - Kieran was fantastic to work with. Besides great communication, a solid team, and top-notch problem solving skills, it felt like Kieran internalized the projects as if he was working on his own house. He also took our feedback well whenever we had an idea or change that we wanted to make. On top of all of that, he has a high bar for quality and wants to get the job done right. We’re super happy with how each project came out. Thanks Kieran for the great work!

Telsa charger installation.

Noah did an amazing job and attention to detail. Caught things that other electricians could have easily ignored. Definitely my go to guy for any future electrical work.

Super pleasant experience. Noah is a really nice guy and did a quick and great job installing our Tesla EV charger. Professional, on time and fairly priced. Highly recommend! Thanks!

After a lot of frustration with many different electricians I finally found Four Square Electric and I can't say enough good things about Noah and the excellent work he has done on all the jobs I've thrown at him.

First he fixed our existing electrical box which was giving us issues all around the house (bulbs flickering, appliances losing power, etc) he was the only one that correctly diagnosed the problem and fixed it after many electricians just gave us band-aid fixes and problems would reappear quickly. He also did a fantastic job installing a Tesla Charger which was a fairly big job since it involved installing new wiring and conduits from the electrical box on our deck all the way to our detached garage.

Recently he installed brand new circuits for a sum pump and dehumidifier we had installed on our crawl space. Again completing the job very quickly and professionally and leaving everything looking and working great.

Highly recommended!

Four Square Electric did an excellent job installing my Tesla Gen 3 chargers. They were responsive and punctual, and the chargers worked perfectly right after installation. The pricing was also very reasonable.

Friendly, helpful, professional service. Fit me in on the same day I called. Arrived on time. Replaced a cracked P trap under my kitchen sink.
